  • In today’s video I show you from start to finish how I soak my Moringa Oleifera seeds, plant them and watch them as they germinate and grow into you trees. I also show you what they look like after several weeks to several months of growth inside of a 4.8 to 5 gallon bucket as well as a 10 inch reusable plastic pot. Finally I have success with my young trees after many failed attempts. What I've learned is, they are best germinated and grown in warm weather outside verses trying to start them indoors. Happy Gardening to you.😊🌱
Moringa Oleifera is noted to treat a wide variety of conditions, such as:
    inflammation-related diseases
    cancer
    diabetes
    anemia
    low energy and fatigue
arthritis and other joint pain, such as rheumatism
    allergies and asthma
constipation, stomach pains and and diarrhea
    epilepsy
stomach and intestinal ulcers or spasms
    chronic headaches
heart problems, including high blood pressure
    kidney stones
    fluid retention
    thyroid disorders
    low sex drive
bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections

I used the same seed company and had about every seed sprout. Maybe the difference is that I only soaked for 24 hours and then put them in a sandwich bag to finish sprouting. Unfortunately the plants are prone to rot when over watered, as I found out during an unusually wet spring.

Rebecca McElfresh hello. Thank you for sharing your germination experience. I will have to give it a try. So far the trees are doing well and growing nicely. I like this seed company, even with the issues with this seed. I will purchase from them again and again. Thank for the heads up about the wet weather. Also thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate you for doing so . Happy Gardening to you.😊🌱♻️

Nice video ... I germinated 8 seeds, 4 were striped of the outer shell and 4 I left it on; All of mine germinated. I guess I am lucky but now I have 8 trees growing. Yikes... I have dwarf seeds coming they will be easier to control.... I have to grow them as annuals, I will take them inside... thanks.

@Cherokee Rose hello. I tried the same experiment. I have 5 tiny trees. You are very lucky. Yes, if you take them inside you might need to top your standard trees. What will happen is it will bush out after you top it. How exciting for you.😁 Thank you for visiting my channel. Yes looking at NOLA gardener and I Moringa I had in the past (that did not survive) those leaves look a bit larger. I would love another Moringa and since I am in zone 7B. I think I’ll go with the dwarf type. Where did you get your seeds?

    • @ClausenWorld
      @ClausenWorld  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Melanie D hello. I found seeds at Baker Creek, rareseeds.com. You may need to bring your young tree indoors before the weather turns cold. As it mature it will acclimate and do well outside...just so long as you don’t have hard cold winters. 😊🌱
