Thank you for visiting my suburban garden. My goal is to show; you can garden anyway you can imagine. Fresh homegrown food doesn't have to be out of reach no matter your budget. I compost to include vermicompost. I collect rain water. I ferment, can, dehydrate, and freeze what I grow, and what I purchase. I appreciate you taking the time to drop in & view my little slice of the world. I hope you enjoy my journey as it's presented. I ask that you be kind and respectful when commenting. Uploads are on Wednesday & Saturday with the occasional random upload depending on what's going on. Happy Gardening to you.😊🫘🌱

Hi there, hope all is well. 😊
You have done a great job. It is looking good. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Have a blessed day
I'm glad you can get drops because the tree people around me are apparently caught back and don't use technology
Oh, I know that you are so glad that you are at the finish line. That was a lot of wood chips.🎉
Yes I was. That dump truck was packed. I dumped the last of it on the back garden, and I still haven’t fully spread it out yet.🤷🏽♀️😮💨
Hard work but well worth it. I still have wood chips from going on two years now. 😂
@@OCDishChick it is indeed hard work. Noooo. Say it isn’t so.🤣🪵
@@ClausenWorld 😂

Thank you for watching. You do the same.
Hi there, hope all is well. Nice 😊 sharing
Hello. All is as well as it can be. Thank you for your kindness. I hope all is well with you. Thank you for watching.😊
Good chat! I never thought about overwintering my peppers because I don't have any where to keep it over the winter. Thanks for the chat!!
I’m going to attempt to over wondering the pepper plants amongst other plants. I know Wendy brings her pepper plants inside. I refuse to bring outdoor things indoors. Thanks for watching.😊🌱
I’m also looking forward to the future. Thank you for this motivational video. 👍🏾♥️
You are very welcome. Now if I can get my fall garden larger than two inches. I’d be in business.🤦🏽♀️🌱 Thanks for watching.😊🫶🏽
Thanks for sharing this video with us. Great information for the garden. Yes those pots are exspensive. I know the season are coming earlier each year. Yes my Walmart already has them up. Yes i am doing a Fall garden. Happy gardening my friend. Get home safely 😊
I agree pots are so expensive. I remember when so much was reasonable.🤦🏽♀️ I swear I recalling seeing holiday stuff in October. The stores don’t care that so many people are struggling from day to day. All they care about is no money no money. I see your garden.😉 I know you get some awful snow. I hope your garden does well and you don’t get trapped on the road like last year. Be safe my gardening friend. The weather shifts are something else. Thanks for watching.😊🌱
That is a lot of work, but it does look good. I wish I was close by. I would like to help you. Teamwork 💪 My friend
It was a lot of work. My neighbor saw me one day, and offered to help. I was very grateful for the help and the company. It made the work go quicker. Cut the time down by several days. Thank you. I’d have enjoyed spending gardening time with you. You would have been a great help. Thanks for watching.😊💪🏽💪🏽
Great planting! 🌱
Thank you. I’m trying to get it in.😊🫘🌱
Doing great, hon 😊
Thank you. I still need to shift it in the garden… but it’s all been moved from the street. Thanks for watching.😊💪🏽💪🏽
That is a ton of woodchips and a lot of work. Good on you!! 😊
I know. It felt like a ton as I was moving them. Now I have to shift them since I have them all in the back garden. Thanks for watching.😊
You did a wonderful job! Your hard work will pay off ! 👍🏾♥️
Thank you. I still have piles to spread out.😮💨 Thank you for watching and commenting.😊🪵🫶🏽
Chip drop is the best, you been doing an amazing job using your free woodchips over the past few years now. My soil is amazing because of the woodchips
Thank you. I’m taking your lead trying to build amazing soil. So far this drop gave me more inches of chips across the garden. Hopefully it will break down nicely by this time next year.😁 Thanks for watching my gardening Brotha.😊🪵
How many steps did it take? You will be ripped after that.
I took 99,157 steps. I’m feeling strong.😁💪🏽💪🏽
Hello 😊❤
Hello😊👋🏽👋🏽 Thank you for watching.😊
That’s a good drop of wood chips. Mostly small pieces of wood that will breakdown fast is great to receive. ❤👍🏾
Yes, it was breaking down fast over the 11 days it took me to move them all. I still have to spread them out but they’ve all been moved. This time around it seems I have a higher level in the garden. I know it can’t have been more chips than the last drop.🤔 Thanks for watching.😊🪵🌱🫶🏽
Looking good, my friend 😊l
Thank you my friend. I tried to schedule this video to release on Saturday. I should not do this type of thing when I’m sleepy.🤦🏽♀️ So no video on Saturday.🤷🏽♀️

I have greenstalk s and find the top tiers dry off but the bottom is soaking wet. I also water by hand
I find the same. The top tiers are dryer. I lost my marshmallow plant because the bottom was much wetter than I thought it would get. Thanks for watching.😊🌱
A tower of greens sounds awesome!!
IKR! Some have begun to germinate.😁 Thanks for watching.
Blessed Saturday morning! I like to plant non thirsty plants in my Greenstalks since I don’t water every days. I really like to grow bush beans and peas in mine. I also planted sweet potatoes in a couple for a first time. I’ll see how those planters turned out in a couple of weeks.
Blessed Day to you as well. I need to take a page from your book. Plant non thirsty plants. I’ll try some bush beans. Perhaps this tomorrow. You planted sweet potatoes. Please tell me how those turn out. How many slips did you plant? Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
I look forward to seeing your seeds grow! ❤👍🏾
Thank you. So am I. Some have begun to germinate. So exciting.😁 Thanks for watching.😊🫶🏽
Yes, squash! Go for it! I got got this year.
I’ve seen at least 1 that has germinated. Come on baby squash.🤭 Thanks for watching.😊🌱
I usually get got as well. This Asian variety has been a champ. I had a few leaf footed bugs. I plucked a few off. I think the rest were removed by the wasps.🤭
Thank you for this video I have a lot of squash that need to be sowed and I going to try!
You’re very welcome. Check your last frost date online. If you have time…sow away. Good luck.😊🌱
That's exciting 💚9:44

I don't know how many times I have dropped seeds, but I went in one area and I just drop drop drop zucchini, and squash just got crazy with it. 😂😂🤣🤣
I saw that video you posted. You planted up the entire bed.🤣 Thanks for watching. Good luck on the succession plants my gardening friend.😊🌱
I live free unexpected food in the garden, nice that u got a pomegranate! So awesome that u still have time for growing more squash. I put in some round zucchini I’ll see what happens. I’m in 7B VA
I know right. I’m excited to see how that little pomegranate does in the elements. It will be my tester plant. If it does well I’ll place the others out in spring. I hope your zucchini does well my gardening friend. Good luck.🌱
Bonus footage! Bonus plants are always a fun surprise! Thanks for sharing!
Some bonus plants are exciting to see. Others like all the callaloo. I had to pull that out. Plus it’s a worm magnet.🤦🏽♀️ Thanks for watching.😊

The T-posts are normally driven without drilling the hole. Undisturbed soil is much stronger than tamped soil. You can drive it with a small sledge hammer.
I had no clue. Thank you for the information. I appreciate you watching, and commenting. I will bang the last two in without drilling.😊
I use a brick to drive in the posts. The thick zip ties at several intervals would sturdy everything, too.
Good idea. I have zip ties. Thank you for the suggestions.😊💪🏽💪🏽
I fell asleep editing this video. As I was watching it just now . I realized my music came on real loud when it wasn’t suppose to. My apologies.🤦🏽♀️ I was burning the candle at both ends.😒
Good job using the tools you have. I have ots of experience with t-posts. They are really much easier to install if you can use a t-post driver. If you are only putting in a few posts maybe someone has one you can borrow The posts are more secure when driven in than when put into a hole with no cement.
Ah, thank you for the suggestion. I was looking at one at the store. Of course after I went through the steps I had already taken.🤦🏽♀️ I may invest in one. Thanks for watching and commenting.😊
You did a great job!👏🏾 ❤👍🏾
