I often wonder if the fans back in the day actually understood what they were wittnessing in SRVs playing ability. I fully regret I did not see him live when the opportunity arose....... WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING??
I believe this was a Buddy Guy tune originally. He was also one to play it with that kind of intensity, both in guitar and vocally. Stevie matches that I intensity lick for lick. Incredible.
If ya get a chance, check out SRV ' s cover of superstition, from Stevie Wonder....it was a part of set list for years. Live performance of course. Live in Nashville, for Jerry Lewis Telefon..is a good one. Several to choose from..✌️
The LIVE/MTV jam of "Superstition" with SRV & STEVIE WONDER, Jody Whatley, Salt n' Peppa, Germaine Jackson (on bass) & bunches of other dudes is supreme.
The "Stank Face"...SRV = THE G.O.A.T.
SRV ~ 🎸🐐 THE goat of all goats
**Tightrope at Austin City Limits 1989**
I love it when he takes it out on his guitar! So hot! ☮️ (Isn't that guitar called, Butterscotch?)
His playing is jaw dropping , but voice , swag c’mon folks ……the one and only 💯
Thank you Texas ….for giving us Stevie Ray ‼️

You're welcome!
Please do ain't gone n give up on love from capital theater thanks
Agreed. His best work.
And Life Without You
Yes
🤠 This song illustrates the "growl" 🐯 tone that Stevie could get from his guitar better than any other I've ever heard! 🎸👍
It was killer!!!!
Scotch I believe was its name, Stevie’s go to guitar for aggressive playing and heavy tone. Love it
Another great reaction! You should see texas flood or/and lenny from live at the el mocambo!
Thank you! We are waiting on Texas Flood Approval right now, hopefully I can make it public soon!
Also voodoo child from Austin city limits '83...nasty!
Thank you! I will check it out!
Dude, you GOTTA check out Lenny and Little Wing from the El Mocambo concert. Love the reactions!
Thank you, I will try to get permission to use them. Thank you!
Absolutely YES to both of those!!!
Absolutely agree, they’re both incredible, as is the whole concert….
LENNY EL MOCAMBO!!!
Gonna try to make it happen soon!
I think every father of a girl can relate to that song.
He's talking about someone messing with his woman, not a father/daughter situation.
Pride and Joy unplugged is also a monster
Nice, I GOTTA see him on the acoustic!
@@Texas_Love he plays 3 songs on MTV Unplugged using a 12 string acoustic guitar. It is a small TV Studio intimate setting and it is 🔥

How angry he made the guitar sound during the solo!!
DON'T GIVE STEVIE A GUN 😊
I find it very difficult to compare "rap" to SRV.
I only meant to compare the "Jamming!" face 😊. They are certainly far separated genres, musically
@@Texas_Love better known as the "stank face"🎸🎶💙
He wasn’t comparing. You sound very ignorant and your close mindedness is showing
