    Great video. You are a really good teacher! This is something I've struggled with for years, but the first step is being aware of it, and bringing it into your consciousness. Learning to hear and identify those negative voices, but not believe them, takes time. And even if you're well practiced they can catch you off guard on a bad day. For a lot of people I would guess they are hearing a projected voice of a parent - a narcissistic, or autistic one, who themselves were completely unaware of the total lack of balance in their words; i.e. too much telling off and invalidation, not enough encouragement and reassurance. I think you have to find a way to forgive that parent before their voice will lose its power over you.

      You couldn’t be more correct in your interpretation. I did have narcissistic parents that created that negative voice. I know they were the creators of it. Thankfully, with time and healing, the voice has quieted.

    I have had one friend telling me that I got a good aura. That is one of the nicest compliments I ever gotten and the person is not among us anymore. I wonder how good this aura will be in the future if I get rid of my depression. At the moment I just feel like a faulty T-800.

    People are pretty good at thinking that someone hates themself when they just hate them. This phrase 'love yourself before talking to me' is a bat they hit them with. It's an excuse to hate them, thinking they're doing them a favor. "Let's strip them of belonging, community, and human interaction and see if they're a better person after 5 years of that."

    This perspective is basically a reflection of the dark triad attitude that "if I see any sign of unhappiness, anxiety, insecurity in you instead of a perfect person with narcissistic confidence, you're weak and I want to get away from you until you fix yourself." It sits behind a deeply ingrained premise that the we should treat life as a struggle for power, letting people with any sign of weakness die by the wayside, instead of anything that can be meaningful beyond that.
    But instead of understanding that, narcissists smell a person's lack of confidence and think they know the person inside out and their whole life story, believing they must hate themself.

    Maybe this theory works in a way couse narsistic people have most amount of "selflove" ego and they are succesfull in life. But it works in the way that they suck other peoples good vibes away from them and live of of that. If you're normal person you don't have that high ego so you can be hurt by them easily and give up and they lie and take your energy that way. It's the deceptive greedy people who i see succeeding. People without empathy. People who hate others and use and harm them are succesfull and get ahead while you with your honesty are punished for it couse you're no use for the people higher in social hierarchy. Certain jobs do a personality test just couse they want to hire the narsistic individual over the push over honest people. There's a great video on youtube of this subject. Questions on that test include things like "Are you willing to lie for the benefit of our company?"

    If i had neglected myself long ago and fully i would be succesfull couse i would be the rule follower doormat everyone in society is supposed to be. You're liked based on how good you can obey what the people higher in the social hierarchy are demanding from you. Also if you're man you need to fully selfneglect and sacrifice yourself to be respected. Masculinity is measured by how productive you're as a slave for the system

  • @sinenkaari5477
    @sinenkaari5477 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Does the Shadow theory work like this that you should become the shadow? The theory about secretly needing the part you try to avoid? I think it's more like that you always will have a shadow no matter what you do. Becoming the shadow would be self neglecting and hating your self. I can recognice my shadow wants to belong into society and generally be accepted but the way society wants me to be in order to be accepted is something i don't want to be like couse that includes self neglecting couse they hate me and exclude me as i am i would need to change. If i could belong to something, group, people, have a lover that accepts me how i am then my shadow would be at ease.

    I see where You're coming from, but I don't think it's always like that. There's times when someone just has a bad habit of not finishing things, and not so much of it being "self hatred." There's times I just want to be moody, or I'm just having a bad month, but that doesn't mean I'm full of hate.

    That would indicate that the world is a weak and dark place. There is no reason for the world to hate someone who hates themselves. Instead the world could be generous and offer help to those who need help! How you view yourself might not be something you can choose. People really need to educate themselves about mental illnesses! For instance, like in my case, maybe you have a vitamin deficiency! And this majorly f* up your brain! Think about that next time you judge someone who struggles. Would you shame and blame someone with a broken arm?

    Oh hey.. I was just watching a philosophy lecture and checked my homepage afterwards and at the very top uploaded 1 minute ago with no views was this video.. I'm not even subscribed and here I am getting another one from you. hmm.. so I'm currently at the 4 minute mark of the video and I disagree with what you said "the universe will send you what you put out to it." What you are describing sounds very much like something called "confirmational bias." It's when you interpret things in a way that confirms your beliefs or values. Basically you're giving whatever it is you experience more attention in your mind because of how you're feeling that day. Now don't get me wrong, I do believe in a higher power and I do believe things can line up a certain way (obvious if you saw my comment on your other video) but what you're describing isn't that. I hit play on the video and let it run for a few more seconds "I start breaking out," yeah.. I definitely think you're leaning hard into confirmational bias. Here's something to consider, do you keep a consistent diet whether you're feeling good or off? (do you eat and drink the exact same types of food regardless or does you're "feeling off" affect what you eat) I'm going to reach a little and say you probably don't stay consistent and that's something which would then lead to "breaking out." Breaking out happens and your inner dialogue goes something like "oh look I'm breaking out now, my breaking out is a result of what I'm putting out to the universe." Also hormones can come into play too, stress, etc. Anyway, you mention your age in this video. That was surprising.. I had thought you were a little older because of the way you speak.. Well, that's all I have to say about this one, take care of yourself and God bless.
    Oh wait one more thing, I had put a reply on my comment from yesterday and I think the reply was snagged by the youtube spam filter. When you're in your dashboard under comments there should be a tab you can click on that says "held for review," click on that and you should be able to read what I said (you don't have to approve it so that it shows up in the comment section). Ok maybe two things.. I made an assumption and reached a bit (diet) because it's quite common for people to do things that'll cheer them up when they're feeling down like have an extra big piece of cake or pie or the "eating an entire tub of ice cream in my depression and now feeling even worse because of it" trope you commonly see happen in movies. Alright, I'm done now. No wait.. 1 more thing came to mind. Are these videos just to "air things out" or "vent" and you're not looking to be corrected or we could say "becoming more informed?" Men and women communicate differently so I felt like I should ask. Someone like myself for instance would welcome being corrected and/or informed about things I wasn't too familiar with because that allows me to improve, update, and better myself but that's not exactly the case for every man and I believe it would be even less the case when it comes to women.. Actually a lot of people nowadays would take that kind of thing like a personal attack.. if a higher power really was responsible like I insinuated before then I don't think any of that would be the case but if it is.. I would really appreciate it if you said something, thanks.
