This is two years old, TomTom is not supporting a lot of their units and the list of units not supported is not maintained. TomTom was stared in Denmark I think but was sold to some company in Asia, they are manufactured in China.
Reviewing and buying a reliable trustworthy GPS that can be moved from car to car is a madhouse of information with no telling what is supported or not.
Garmin and TomTom are the major brands both play the same game new models every thirty days with one or two improvements, now there is Bluetooth with phone and some wi fi which you pay for and two years later the model (Via 1525TM) can be purchased for $50. No one can tell you if it is supported, you have to connect it with TomTom Home to find out, Garmin works the same way.
Consumer electronics is getting more and more predatory with user life becoming a serious issue. The GPS units are not updated because the do not have enough memory, memory is not that expensive and why sell a device you know will need more memory in the future. I guess some of the GPS units have a slot for an SD Card to add memory but I am still working on figuring out which do and which don't because no one is saying so.
