Many thanks Mark! That was a wonderfully quick response. I will get this to replace my 850 and make use of the £50 cash back from Halfords! Looks like they have now combined the junction and roundabout exit instructions in these units.
I didn't reply sooner as I hoped TomTom had sorted my problems when I updated my new TomTom GO 5000 last week. I have used two new GO 5000 in the last 12 months and both react the same. Both 5000's cannot handle GPS between the high buildings built on horse drawn streets. Try Aldgate Station in the London city's square mile and it takes you up one way streets if your lucky. Most London streets that are lawfully 20MPH reflect as 30MPH in TomTom's update. Jeopardising my license, income and job. These roads have been 20MPH for years in most cases. Both units still try to take you around the Elephant & Castle the wrong way. Unacceptable if you need your license. Waze and TomTom are a good mix if you value your paperwork. I am not here to criticise but improve TomToms services. x
Yes you are right But the thing is my navigation in my audi and bmw is pretty good but they do lag just a bit ... Well more in audi .... But I want to spend money where I can get satisfaction guaranteed... Your video did really impressed me ...as it was completely a sped up video but indeed showed the bit where you were driving as in real world , in real situations
I use tom tom go app in my S7 edge, £15 for a year unlimited usage,I dont see investing £200 on a stand alone tom tom device if your mobile can do the same thing unless Tom tom device got some extra features worth £200.
I need some help. I currently use my built in seat Leon sat nav but i am selling my var soon and I might need a portable sat nav. If anyone is familiar with leons sat nav, could you recommend me the closest thing to it ? For me , its more about the clarity of the 3d instructive design on the map than anything else.
Hi I am really concerned about the smoothness of gps Is it really that smooth all the time . Cuz what really pisses me off is the lagging of gps and due to lag I usually miss my junction ...
Had to take my TomTom back for a refund those sloppy spoken instructions are appalling. "Right at the roundabout, 3rd exit"...WHAT????? Surely it makes a lot more sense to do it the Garmin way : "At the roundabout, take the third exit". I don't need to know whether I need to go "right at the roundabout" before I've even GOT there that just causes me to panic! And I love all the "after 800 yards, turn left" - well, you're only EVER going to be turning AFTER 800 yards aren't you - otherwise you'd be driving backwards??!
Thanks for your download, just bought TomTom500 so helps with my setting up. Cheers.

Purchased one of these last night, great satnav.
Hi Mark - could you tell me how you set up your camera to record this? Tripod or some other way? Thanks!
It's so smooth compared to my current gps.

Does the smoothness of performance stays the same at all times ....whilst driving on motorways and through city

I had a Garmin once. Never again! It ALWAYS froze just when I needed it. Absolute garbage. Never had that problem with the Tom Tom.
