Austin, I too just watched your I'gram post...about the cherry table you made and that drawer pic. Looked super man! Here I saw how you manage to hold and use your work on your bench. Admirable and different from what I've normally seen - I like it! You do some good work...and I'm a tolls lover too, esp. planes and chisels.
instant sub, appreciate the hand tool work. quick question, how critical is the use of the band saw for the rip? I don't have such a machine and would stumble at this part.. a handsaw would involve too much clean up?
j4ck888 I’ve made several of these without a bandsaw. A good rip saw is all you need. It does take some skill to keep the saw on track though. I usually want a thicker board if I’m cutting by hand.
