Absolutely one of the finest woodworking videos I have ever seen. Beautiful music, excellant hand tool collection, wonderful project. I will look forward to more of your videos.

Lori, I had to watch the video again to understand what you were asking. You can take a pair of pliers and bend the blade right at the point where the blade gets clamped in the saw (on both ends). I bend mine about 45-degrees. You can also use this tip for dovetail work. Give it a shot.

Great video (and music), going to have to give this a try! If successful, I may make these for Christmas presents for the families. I may incorporate Chip Carving in the project and place their names on them - THANKS AGAIN! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Would it be possible to use this same project as a small chair? if made of oak and the top and the cut at 7:17 were eliminated?

Grant Morrison not a chair that could bare any weight. The joint isn't very strong even with oak, which would be hard to work anyhow.

Hey, You have a nice video here. The most complete woodworking projects that I have ever used was Toms Magic Wood (i found it on google). Without a doubt it contains the most incredible woodworking plans that I have ever tried.
