I honestly liked D-O. He was kind, and was different type of droid we never saw. R2-D2 was sarcastic and funny, C3-PO was loyal, BB-8 was adventurous, and D-O was kind and shy.
I really liked the little droid repair guy but absolutely loved D-O. He was small and sad. He'd been abused. I love the little guy. So sweet and cute.

I'm assuming D-O's programming is set to politely avoid anyone from disturbing his work ("No, thank you"); he apparently re-utilized this function to avoid being touched by organics, as this has caused him a lot of damage.
Ngl, I immediately thought “Is this a Jojo reference?” at 1:48 when I saw Rise of Skywalker in theatres.
