Brilliant review. I have stayed at the cliffs many times over the years. A fantastic hotel. Would love you to try the viking from the same chain but is adults only and sometimes all inclusive so would love your perspective. Keep up the good work
The prices would be the same for Two people, they only discount the price for one person when they have a low occupancy. Great video and great Hotel with lovely food and entertainment.
Really nice rooms, great food with a choice of evening meal. In house entertainment so dont need to go out. Trap stop straight opposite the hotel so if you buy a week ticket your set up

hi wandering wiganer great review i thought the price for what the hotel is overpriced £50.00 would have been a more acceptable price .these hotels will have to start spending money if they want people to stay.the breakfast did look ok though
I think it looked nice to what it was at one time all be it that it certainly looks to have been modernised, the art deco frontage has always looked good....definitely deserves a higher rating than 2 stars.......did i hear you say that car parking was free?

We have just paid £1800 for 11 night's half board in the 4 star Avenida Hotel in benidorm , inc. flights and transfers the food and room were exceptional , that works out at about £80 per person per day and we had wall to wall hot sunshine daily and they charge £112 per night for that shit hole , give me Spain every time
My dad and my stepmum had their honeymoon there (with me in tow as dad was too poorly to drive) it was a long way to go from Bryn in Wigan! It was a lovely place then still looks it to be honest
We have had Years nay decades of happy memory’s staying at The Cliffs and the sister hotel the Claremont , sadly our last two visits to the cliffs have left us vowing never to return, the Grand old lady has been showing her age for years but we’ve always been happy to put up with the tired decor and furnishings taking satisfaction in the fact the hotel was always very clean and the food very good to, our last visits this year 2023 has seen us notice a massive decline in the care and cleanliness the smell throughout the hotel alone enough to put many off, 2 of our party suffered a serious bout of food poisoning FISH !!! And overall we found the menu to say the least weird, nothing like previous visits, we consider ourselves well traveled and can accept lots of little problems and never feel the need to complain but on this occasion felt we must, to date the hotel haven’t cared to even acknowledge never mind try to resolve that would never have happened in the past ! Choice Hotels BAD choice !!!
We've been for a Christmas party day in December we had Christmas dinner and entertainment I thought the food was lovely piping hot and nothing was too much trouble I like a lot of gravy over my meat and veg and the waitress brought a big jug of gravy out I thought jt was a lovely hotel my sister and her husband have stayed at the cliffs and my sister told me it's a good hotel the food is very good but it's a bit tired like your window wanted replacing jve never stayed for a week but what j saw I liked
Great Video, a good look around , there sister hotel just up the road called the Claremont is one i would like to see, i have always said the Claremont it was better, you will have to take a look for sure.
Thought it was expensive for the room. Refurb was not that impressive, thought the shower head could have been renewed. Red chair and stool didn't go with the room. Besides the cleanliness,.Aircon is a must definitely when its this hot. Would've thought it would have aircon, didn't even leave a fan in the room. Better than nothing. Gosh looks busy there that’s great for the kids the kids club good old extension lead 😂 personally I would not pay that for that room ! Thought it expensive the hotel looks like it’s had a facelift clean kettle good o 😂 great vids you do 😊 till the next one 😊
It’s not in my price range but the carpet in the room looks nice and soft and the beds look clean, you done the kettle test it looks ok, the en-suite looks nice and clean, the whole establishment looks clean, but £112 is a bit steep for me did you have to pay separate for your breakfast? I suppose £25 for a 3 course meal is ok but do you have a choice if you don’t want 3 courses?
Such a lovely hotel I used to work there in the 80s has a room attendant rooms are so cozy
My parents used to go there for New Year until my dad died in 2019. They never had a bad word to say about the hotel

Lovely hotel probably one of the best in Blackpool I live next to it and have never heard a tourist complaint about the cliffs 😊

We St at the Claremont hotel there sister hotel in February, the pool was shut so we could use there pool very nice

Stayed there many times but we found the Hotel Sheraton much better. I'd say the Cliffs is more for familys

4k usually, but I'm still learning too. There is a good video on TH-cam about an hour long, which shows you how to set it up.
