    Fantastic! You’re the only reviewer who doesn’t just waste time to complain nor overly compliment the mouse. Instead, you educate people how to tackle the problems. Kudos to you! ❤️🤟

    I was looking for a mouse that wouldn't be horrible for long hours of work. This video was so much helpful, thank you! I should have known about this rules earlier

    whats your thoughts on/can you do an ergonomic analysis of thumb trackballs like logitech mx ergo, logitech m570 & finger based trackballs like the kensington trackman marble?

    Yes, it's true, the Apple Magic Mouse is not the most ergonomic mouse in the market, but I still wouldn't trade it for any other mouse. To compensate for the lack of comfort, I ONLY us it with a mousepad that has a wrist rest. It has worked out perfectly after 3 years of use (and counting). I've never had pain or felt discomfort during or after use.

      Good idea! I already have a mouse pad, but sure I'll consider getting the one you suggested. Thanks for the idea!

    I got an iMac today and it came with a magic mouse, after a few hours of use, I started to feel some pain from my hand.

    I've heard of users complaining about developing carpal tunnel while using this mouse. I was planning on buying an iMac or 16" MacBook for graphic design, but now I think I'll skip on the Magic Mouse and just fork over the extra cask for the Magic Trackpad

      I started to develop carpal tunnel using this Magic Mouse. I would not recommend it. It is not good for your hands at all!

      @@randleqgod yeah, I wound up buying the 13” MacBook (before M1…)
      I actually bought the Magic Mouse and started getting carpal tunnel just from looking at it. Apple really needs to revise the Magic Mouse and it’s ergonomics.

    I found this mouse VERY uncomfortable. It came with the iMac I bought, but I really didn't like it! I would not recommend this mouse to people I know :(

      I agree. I replaced it with a Logitech MX Master 3. I will never buy another Magic Mouse again. It totally jacked my hand up.

    thanks for sharing, it would be great to hear your opinion about magic tackpad too, i was thinking about to buy it, because you can configure it so you click without pushing it, just touching.

    I agree with you, totally. Though it has exceptional features, looks great, and is compatible with Macbook, it doesn't properly fit under my hand or palm, especially when I am using it with my left hand. I find it not comfortable for resting my hand and easily navigate it around. And since I use the mouse so often, I am really afraid to develop a spasm or something in my fingers or palm. I am trying different posture for my hand and fingers, but I haven't been there yet. Thank you for sharing!
    On the other hand, it really adjusts itself to your personal movements and touch, the right and left button choices, the movement and the clicks are becoming much better with time. (AI technology)

    Just looking at that mouse makes me feel uncomfortable. But hey it is sexy right. That's all it matters for Apple. I am not buying this mouse for sure.

    • @sanj0418
      @sanj0418 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The thing is, it's not only sexy, but also incredibly useful. While the ergonomics are arguable, it is so convenient, to have a giant touch field on the entire mouse. You can swipe in every direction, scrolling is so much faster (whenever I code with my ordinary mouse because I forgot to switch after gaming, scrolling through hundreds of lines of source code is so much better, faster and more convenient with the Magic Mouse) and much better, because the velocity of your finger is directly translated, which means that when you scroll fast, the scrolling doesn't stop right when you stop actually scrolling, much like on a smartphone. Just imagine your smartphone would stop scrolling immediately after you release the screen, instead of slowly fading out the movement!
