This is the reason I give my job the bare minimum because it's pay standards are based by overall yrs in the company, well you get what you pay for. Always come when expected and do my job but reality I can do 3x the productivity. But they aren't upset with it fits their quota standards. It's a shame though they could get much more out of me if the pay was better but that's 90% of businesses there is no benefit to going above and beyond.

This is what a CEO is suppose to be, looking out for the employees, I get you can’t always look at every single of the employees with big chain places, but they could at the very least, make visits, and interact with the employees, take the time to meet them, I worked at Walmart in the pharmacy, and they had executive come by our store, and he was so cold and never interacted with anyone, just looked around the store, not saying a word, a clear disconnect. If the CEO can’t come themself, then send people with personality and caring nature, people who have passion.

If only bosses knew how many good ass employees they loose bc of bad managers. I used to work doing valet for Sheridan hotel, didn’t have any check ins, it was almost 1 am, I was bored so I asked my manager if I could have a seat in the lobby nd read a newspaper, was told yes and even handed the newspaper by my manager, I was terminated the next day for reading a new paper on the clock. It was soo frustrating to me
