I beat the whole game and it had no microtransactions, although there is DLC for an extra level. Overall, If you have kids of pretty much any age, I can recommend this game. For the record, my best friend and I, both 28 years old, each played and enjoyed this game as well. Its very similar to Slime Rancher.
Brawlhalla is a decent free-to-play supplement for Smash Bros (I know you mentioned it in your other video, but still noteworthy for anyone who hasn't heard of the game.) Super excited for Apex. I've played a little bit of Ninjala and also got totally wrecked - but it's good fun for no cost! Thanks for this list Bob! And shoutout to the aLgOriThM
It's like smash but there are only 13 or so movesets. It's a lot of fun, and I actually got 10 or so hours in that game. Really solid online, still suck tho 😂
actually brawlhalla is pretty good, and a lot different from smash. Brawlhalla is weapon based, instead of character based, so if you learn to play great with some weapons, you get good with a lot of characters, I'd recommend everyone to try it

Not to mention each character has a different combination of 2 of those 12 weapons. And each character has 6 special moves (3 per weapon). And since by tomorrow there will be 50 characters, there is 396 moves in the game. It's still not as much as smash but your selling it way too short for a free fighting game. There's so much more to it and this is coming from someone who's put over 230 hours into smash and over 300 into Brawlhalla

I can confirm that island saver is really fun. It’s weird, and you wouldn’t expect a game about cleaning trash made by a banking company to be so good, but it’s fun, creative, and kinda relaxing. There’s 3 islands, and there isn’t a single micro transaction except one dlc island with dinosaurs if you feel like it.
You briefly mentioned Blasphemous and I have to say it is honestly great. I played the demo and fell in love with it pretty hard. Especially with how much time you can put into the demo before it's over

Fantasy strike is a f2p fighting game that has simple controls. I bought it when it wasn't f2p but I'm glad it did go that way since it got a bunch of new users playing. Great netcode too and you don't need NSO subscription to play online.
It does cost to have the online service but snes, you get super mario world, Yoshi's Island, puyo puyo. On nes kirby's adventure is great Tetris 99 is life.

Somehow I completely missed your Asphalt 9 video and I had no idea that game existed. That is exactly the kind of game I was looking for the scratch the itch. Was considering Burnout but I think I'll try that first.
I played Dauntless on the Xbone and -- though I'm admittedly not the biggest Monster Hunter game fan -- I found it to be not engaging in the long term. "Look, there's a monster in a field (hanging out). Get 'em!" Sometimes the beast tries to get away, but you're a jerk and track him on the very small map. Smack him around or get hit during frustratingly slow animations. Repeat. I am on hiatus from Warframe, but that's after a lot of hours on the game. Definitely recommended. I'd also say that the venerable Smite is still fun. If you aren't feeling competitive, people in the co-op modes are better team players than in regular competitive play. If you're new to MOBAs, watch a few videos and you'll do fine. Just remember the most important rule of MOBAs: Not dying is more important than getting the kill.
Highly recommend using inventory trackers like zoolert or stockinformer to help you out. Best Buy and Walmart have been getting inventory here and there as well but you have to be quick. Target also has notifications built into their website. Good luck!
The only thing I don't like about asphalt 9 is how short the races are, I race for like a minute and a half and then I'm spending more time in the menus

Warframe still has the most hours played out of my Switch games and I haven't played in months Only problem with the game is that it's so addictive you pretty much ignore everything else and it takes up all gaming time.
So glad you mentioned it, yeah, Asphalt 9 is AMAZING good fun, tons of free content. And get this, it has 4-PLAYER LOCAL SPLITSCREEN CO-OP. For free. It's tough enough for adults, easy enough for even younger kids to play and enjoy, looks amazing, good music, and so on. I was just straight-up shocked at how polished it was, even for a free-to-play game.

I understand why asphalt 9 has such a low score. To unlock the best cars you need to play a lot, like ... the whole day every week... or you have to pay. Is it fun? yeah. Good looking? yeah. But it gets so boring. It becomes just a grind or you have to pay to keep up. Do yourself a favor and dont install asphalt 9 Edit: btw paladins can be fun sometimes. especially if you play with friends. Matchmaking is sometimes unfair but I like it.
Paladins is a really fun team based game, it's more than just "Overwatch for poor people". Shammy did a great video explaining the differences, although Paladins has also improved since then.

Highly recommend using inventory trackers like zoolert or stockinformer to help you out. Best Buy and Walmart have been getting inventory here and there as well but you have to be quick. Target also has notifications built into their website. Good luck!

The only thing I don't like about asphalt 9 is how short the races are, I race for like a minute and a half and then I'm spending more time in the menus
I used to play Apex on ps4 and if it comes on switch who knows i might play it again but if warzone comes to switch i would totally get it in a heartbeat

Warframe still has the most hours played out of my Switch games and I haven't played in months Only problem with the game is that it's so addictive you pretty much ignore everything else and it takes up all gaming time.

So glad you mentioned it, yeah, Asphalt 9 is AMAZING good fun, tons of free content. And get this, it has 4-PLAYER LOCAL SPLITSCREEN CO-OP. For free. It's tough enough for adults, easy enough for even younger kids to play and enjoy, looks amazing, good music, and so on. I was just straight-up shocked at how polished it was, even for a free-to-play game.
Warface is my favorite free to play Switch game. Better than all the recent CODs. Though I haven't played Warzone yet.

Paladins never crashed on me. However Relam Royal did all the time. It's been a while since I played both however.

Unless they changed it from the 3ds version you can only pay a maximum of $60 USD on Kirby Clash Deluxe, the true definition of Free to start since later stages require more and more gem apples, and paying more increases the amount of gem apples you get a day from the tree in the hub.

I understand why asphalt 9 has such a low score. To unlock the best cars you need to play a lot, like ... the whole day every week... or you have to pay. Is it fun? yeah. Good looking? yeah. But it gets so boring. It becomes just a grind or you have to pay to keep up. Do yourself a favor and dont install asphalt 9
Edit: btw paladins can be fun sometimes. especially if you play with friends. Matchmaking is sometimes unfair but I like it.

Paladins is a really fun team based game, it's more than just "Overwatch for poor people". Shammy did a great video explaining the differences, although Paladins has also improved since then.

At 4:10 where did you get that picture cuz some of them never came out like doom and Mario paint. Was that a fake or did something happen to them. I also know Doom is available on the switch already but not through the SNES Online
It's weird that they advertise the snes and nes games as playing them anywhere anytime when you can't play them without being connected to wifi.
