This was so informative for me. Ive been bouncing back and forth watching and reading soooo many reviews.
Thanks. This helped a lot
For the raw data if you want to dig in more and nerd out here you go:

best video ever Justin! I have been waiting years for this!
Glad to see my CPU cooler Phanteks Glacier One 420D30 on top, it is not only temps... is about noise and the pitch of the noise from a 140mm fan
One of the weak components of any AIO is its pump. Its job is to transfer the CPU heat to the radiator, and the pump's flow to the radiator determines how well the radiator dissipates the heat. The solution is to have a high volume of coolant flow from the pump and larger-diameter hoses that increase the amount of coolant going to the radiator. These changes would improve CPU cooling.
The Ryujin III and Galahad II LCD use the same pump and radiator (Asetek Gen 8) so any performance differences should come down to the fans and possibly the stock thermal paste.
It's fans. We don't use the stock thermal paste we limit the variables.
@@RobeytechLive which is even stranger as I'd expect Lian Li to have better fans than Asus
Also the glacier one
Thank god i needed this video for the 14900k!!!, we need a comprehensive custom water loop data video just like this one... is it worth it!
I’m considering buying the thermaltake TH420. How is the pump noise on it?
I know the horse has been stricken with rigamortis at this point, but maybe a peice on air v liquid cooling with cooler systems that are roughly the same price? Is water cooling worth it if your on am5? The chips are so cool and power efficient.
can lian li galahad II trinity performance be on top of list🤔
Stop looking for change while recording 😂 just kidding! Great content! Thanks!
You Right !
I like your channel very much.
Why does no one ever test the lian li 360 performance aio ?
I don't really know about this testing. Was this all in the same room? On the same day? What was the temp of the room? Also Newegg? The Arctic 420 is like 125$ on Amazon. Sometimes way less.
It's really just a bunch of completely random numbers that we as the audience have no idea of correlation. There are so many variables that are left a complete mystery
The data with all of that is in the comments. Not really sure if anyone shows you all of that!? But it’s the same room, same setup, same ambient temp, same hardware minus the AiO that changes with the same thermal paste. The only variables of change are the AiO and the time of day. Hope that helps.
Just water cooling your pc ?
Handy stats too know,at least the ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 EDITION that i have to go into my build has a good pedigree.
The liquid freezer 3 black 420 on release week was $92
Yeah it goes on sale quite often
Seeing as it's at the bottom of the charts more often than not, I can't say I feel like that would be money well spent. Bummer tho, because I was ready to build a new system with an O11 Evo RGB and the LF III, but I wasn't expecting it to get outclassed so easily by smaller AIOs lol
@@Henrique-wv9xqthis video shows no data for fan speed or noise differences. 120mm sized AIOs normally run at higher fan speeds.
I don't think the radiator and fan matter as much as the block to transfer the heat.
You're so correct. Many people need to remember that the heat transfer plate is the first step in CPU cooling. Get that wrong and no AIO will save your PC.
Nice lack of noise normalization and talk of fan pitch. 120mm based AIOs normally run at higher fans speeds with generally more noticeable and annoying sound pitches.
Just build AMD PC. First time i use AIO. They are nice but, got bomb noise. First i thought it was back cage fan, then search in internet for Bomb noise and fix it. Just moved the cage side to side😂 and fixed.
you could show the aio's and not the boxes...
No dB …
Size doesn’t matter! I don’t care what u say
that's what she said
I just got the graphic card isntalled with nvidea geforce drivers. Please tell me how to do benchmark tests and any test on graphics card
noctua nh-d15 and gg
open test bench is not a real test inside a case is areal test::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
360 vs 420 isn't about more cooling capacity most of the time. Most of the time it is because 140 mm fans are quieter. You skipped the one variable that mattered in this test LOL.
We asked the question to our community and stream audience when they consider AiO's at that size because they think bigger is actually better (acutally sound only came up to folks who truly understood fan speed etc and it was a VERY small margin). When you are right 420s are more about noise but also surface area. So, when people think I am building a 14900KS they immediately think I can get a 420 mm AIO and cool it. So the video was focused on when you think about COOLING (which regardless of noise is the primary focus of an AiO) bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. Sorry, but most of the audience out there doesn't connect sound with bigger size, you are making a rather large assumption.
@@RobeytechLive Thank you for the clarification I didn't not know this video was based upon a previous poll. I do enjoy your videos though. Wasn't trying to sound as if I was putting it down, but yes, I feel most people don't realize that 360 3x120mm and 420 3x140mm is more about noise and not cooling capacity. Once again thank you for your reply. It makes a lot more sense that you ignored that metric based on audience poll.
As per my last email
😅😢😂
I see what doing. Team Asus!
