    I installed one of these in my PC yesterday. I love the way it looks, it cools my i9 well and I'm not really bothered by the limited software settings for the LCD screen. BUT the constant whining sound the pump makes is killing me. It's like ongoing coil whine, like a hungry mosquito lives inside my case. All my case fans are inaudible in idle and if the room is quiet all I can hear is that annoying sound the pump makes. Obviously the PC is sitting on my desk, on my right hand side so I can actually see the LCD screen on the pump. I think if I move it on the left side of my desk or underneath the desk the sound wouldn't bother me so much. But then the LCD screen would be pretty much useless. It's a pity, I really like it, but I think I'll have to return it. There are videos on TH-cam that show exactly what I'm talking about, so make sure you check those out before you buy the Mystique 360 LCD.

    Awesome coverage for this. Would really appreciate if noise levels could become a metric too since I know myself and many others consider this to be as important as thermal performance. I know fan curves can be played with etc., but any input when you're blind buying stuff is helpful

      To be honest, I used to watch this guy a lot and his benchmarks. He used to add noise levels as a metric. And then I noticed that he literally never adds the negative parts of a review. He only talks about the positive, which of course he should, but Robby boy here has sold out and will “review” any part that’s he’s getting paid for and will only talk positively about that part. Purposely leaving the negative things out. He’s a sell out now and is only here for money and not for putting out all the information for consumers.

    I bought this AIO (240mm version though) because of this review, I have been a huge fan of DeepCool products, however I have to agree with your software critique, I did a bunch of comparisons and my 7800x3D idled at 55-58c with the DeepCool software running, but when I shut down the software suite my CPU idle temps went down to 44-46c, that is quite a drastic difference. While gaming the temperatures were not that different averaging 62-66c w/ the software on and 58-60c without it. While I love having access to the beautiful LCD screen, it's kind of dumb that the AIO could perform even better if the software didn't take so much resources.
    Excellent review overall!

    • @EVIL19
      @EVIL19 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@xyzzzz3 I'm running this AIO in a Lian Li Lancool 216 and the pump is not noisy at all, I also set a custom fan curve to make my fans as quiet and efficient as possible, I'm really happy with this AIO so far, only caveat is the idle temps with the monitoring software on. I figured that you can set a picture/gif on the screen, shut down the software and the image will stay on the screen even with the software on, and you'll get the improved temps.

      @@EVIL19 I heard that the deepcool AIOs die pretty soon. Is it true, how is it working so far?
      Any issues or problems you noticed.
      I am worried about two issues:
      1) Pump fixed fan speed (which is noisy)
      2) AIO dying soon

    • @EVIL19
      @EVIL19 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@thousandecibels not at all, I've had this AIO now for 2 months and I haven't had any noises complains (mind you I'm in South Texas and my AC is always on so I might not be able to hear every detail going on inside my pc case due to my AC). Regarding performance; the whole Deepcool software suite issue has been solved with a firmware update and now my CPU idles at 36-40c. If it helps I'm also running a Deepcool AK620 in my gf's PC and it's been running flawless on a 5700x.
      Tldr; Deepcool products are pretty good, sucks that they had all these USA sanction issues.

    I have the 360mm version of this AIO and I also have some extra Deepcool 120mm fans. My question is if a push/pull configuration benefit this AIO? or just overkill/inhibit. (Case is a Deepcool CH560 with the 3 140mm fans in the front, and 2 120mm fans on the bottom for intake and a 140mm fan at the back and the AIO top for exhaust.

    I have the Corsair iCue150 and I've never had temps as low as the ones you show. In Cinebench the package temp goes pretty rapidly to 100 and fluctuates between there and around 80 at the highest. It looks like your radiator is on the side, as is mine. The tubes won't quite reach to the front even though I have a Corsair case. I'm running an i9 13900K at stock settings. Wondering what I'm doing wrong. From your testing it doesn't seem as though the Mystique would do much better.

  • @DominicMalta
    @DominicMalta 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is constructive criticism on showing the CPU cooler temp performance. We have no idea what the actual LP one in LP two power limits are and we don’t know the room ambient temperature that’s changing between the testing of these coolers. And assuming that Intel 14 700 K is actually operating understock parameters is unlikely due to most motherboards not falling Intel parameters for the power limits. 12:09

    • @RobeytechLive
      @RobeytechLive  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We set everything to stock Intel and it’s still all the same board and the same settings for all coolers. It still gives you a valid idea of how one cools compared to the others.

    Looks interesting, but I don't like that massive forehead and chin. The gyro isn't a game changer when other systems can rotate the screen too, albeit from the controls. It's also selling cheaper than its competitors because the fans aren't RGB. I would have to swap out the fans which wouldn't really save me money. 🤷‍♂

    • @RobeytechLive
      @RobeytechLive  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      RGB fans actually reduce cooling capabilities, which is why there are versions of these coolers with and without ARGB fans. Aesthetics are a personal choice, but again what you get for this price is impressive, even adding ARGB fans this would be cheaper than alternative LCD coolers even with the added cost.
