what I did to pull out and fix my 80 series landcruiser seat when the spring supports broke.

Nice work. It's good to have skills. As I don't know how to weld or have any welding gear, I most likely have just gone to Gumtree or the wreckers to source for a 2nd-hand 80 series seat, or a pair of XR6 seats. 😁

That was my second option. But this one worked out cheeper.
Have to do the headlight switch soon that’s doing to be a doosie

Great bit of info to know. I’m sure I’ll be doing this one day. Do you reckon you could pop rivet them instead of welding if don’t have a welder? Funny how you wondered why Toyota didn’t paint the frame but then you didn’t either ha ha

@@JaxTellerRC I hadn’t thought of popriviting them. I think that would defiantly be an option.
I painted my welds. Due to the light surface rust painting the entire frame was not an option. As the paint would. It have stuck properly. The welds were clean so worth painting.
