I feel like it’s been so long brau !! So glad you, Lori & Kona are finally home what a great long video sorry about the leak but an awesome fuel set up for sure !!
Thank you so much! Yeah easy leak to fix … these plumbing are new to me, always learn something new everyday 😅👍🏼
Wow! So nice to see your bus home 😊. Really nice upgrades on the fuel system and wiring. The fuel system is really interesting - my bus and bug could use this as the stock line does not do well with our gas we have now. Thank You for the great video! 👍
I know you want it to end, But I don’t………inspiring work, Thank you!
So I finally waitedand it was worthit! Beautful and clean work! And thats how it should be. Good luck. Im waiting and looking forward to the next sequel ... So shush, shush ...😁😁, gretings the Czech Republic ...

WOOOOOT! I hope to someday make it back to Maui and hopefully see it person. Thanks for sharing!
😁👍🏼
Wow so awesome
Gosh, can’t believe this was filmed 2 years ago
Man it’s been a while since we had a Kona video, and come on Mic as a guy I knew you were gonna wash the bus once you got it home, the bird poop was just the added excuse you needed. Watch another guy on here and he swears by the nutserts that you added. Sorry that the fuel line gave you an issue, and I was thinking you were letting a touch of OCD get to you but after everything was said and done it did look 100% neater. Well hopefully you get it all squared away.
About time too….many thanks. Was really really waiting for a bus video for long!
Great stuff mate, glad to see it got there without issues, and good work on the AN fittings way better than those other cheapy ones. Oh did you know there's no need to cut the old zip ties off? You just squeeze the sides with some pliers and they come apart and can be reused ;) Oh check your clutch cable end looks like the wing nut is about to fall off?
Hi Nick.He dous very nice work I`ve beenfollowing Mich from te star with Kona the bus we started teh restoration from our VW a he same time,Bt he is done, I have still a lot of work to do before I drive the VW T SCGreetings from Hubertus.,
Like many others watching your great videos , we are restoring a 21 window also, and we want to thank you both for so much valuable information and entertainment as well. Thank you and fair winds, following seas!
That’s awesome hope your restoration is going well! Happy to help out!
Boy, the locals would love those scooters.
Planning to fix them up then sell them to locals 😁 Too much junk Chinese scooters here 🥴
Seeing all of them AN fitings is scary they can cause a fire hazard normally the less of them the better wish you the best of luck
About time lol been waiting for the next bus video
You done a superb job 👏 and greets from Ireland 🇮🇪
😁👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah! brightens up my day with an upload :)
Glad to hear that!😄🙌🏼
Omg.. finaly.. 😂
Oh. Come on, that's enough. Drive that damn car!
🤓nice work 🤔 good luck next 😥
Great 👍 work, Kona home 🏡, please 🙏 get a nicer ladder to wash the roof of Kona.🤗
Haha! Yeah planning to ! Thank you 😊
What's next to redo? Install one of those hose's that full of argon gas fire system on the bottom of your removable hatch over the top of you motor ! What size is your motor ?
blazecut ;)
Fancy plumbing!
Thanks Bart 😅👍🏼
Ohhhhh next Vespa restoration? :D
Que trabajo tan bello y muy impecable, muy profecional.
te felicito, siempre veo tus videos desde el comienzo, mis saludos y felicitaciones desde Venezuela.
Thank you so much! 😊🙏🏼👍🏼
Эта музыка будет вечной!😊 Привет из холодной России!☺️
Haha Thank you! 😊
Wow we are a year behind reality
@@RogierYou yeah life is so busy with jobs and stuff, bus was on pause for a while. Now only one month behind on TH-cam - finally catching up… next episode coming up sometime soon
Hello mig, i've been waiting for this video, watching you from Muntinglupa City, Philippines, regaeds to Lory and the whole family, Mabuhay kayong lahat🎉😂❤🎉
Hugs hugs
I'm using rubber to float it to prevent vibrations to the ECU, but is it okay if I don't ground the ECU cover?
Hey nice goin!!! Where is your scooter channel? I wanna show you what i built out of two , one free running scooter and the other one missing parts with clear title. Glad to see the Kona home 😊😊😊
Thank you! This is my scooter channel www.youtube.com/@MitchsScooterStuff and you could send me photos on scooter Facebook facebook.com/MitchsScooterStuff/?bookmark_t=page or instagram instagram.com/mitchsscooterstuff
They make a special fuel grade Teflon tape for fuel fittings.
Awesome good to know, thanks, I am looking it up now
I HATE Teflon tape! Pipe thread sealer with Teflon is FAR superior and you don't risk getting a shred of tape into the system. It's made in fuel-grade also... As a Mechanical Engineer I get a little OCD about things too! 🤟
I’m surprised you guys just didn’t put the roof racks in a box inside the bus before shipping it
You can't have anything in the vehicle when shipping .. not allowed
I'm sure someone already mentioned it but you need to use fuel rated Teflon tape on fitting without flares or o-rings. Blue thread locker or white Teflon tape is not good for fuel line.
You have a great attention to detail. I'm sure the island will enjoy having both of you in the community. Maybe you could make and sell a more simple premade kit from the dimensions of your bus setup to help other with less skill.
I guess I got mixed answers online... thanks for the comment
Imagine having so much footage to edit that you are 2 years behind in uploading content and your channel still grows and does well.....Very nice.
Haha yeah I have so many hard drives 😂
Will you make all the way up Haleakalā?
Yes planning to one day
Someone tell that bird to shut up @ 14:36
You should have took the bus to the sema show before you shipped it to Hawaii
Oh man yeah we should have...
Hallo Mic😊
Hello 😊
Is there a fire extinguisher mounted in the cab?
Not yet, I'm shopping for one
@@MicBergsma All those joints in the fuel delivery system would scare me. It only takes one fail to put all that work you have done to rest. Air-cooled VWs have a bit of a history with car fires. My brother's Super Beetle burned to the ground, and a coworker had a Beetle that had an engine fire. He mounted a fire extinguisher in the passenger footwell. All those fuel and oil lines going everywhere make me wary. First start with the big oil leak is not a comforting sign. For those that believe in signs... Best regards, Mic.
How did you get it inspected without windshield wipers?
I told the guy that I have wipers but not installed yet so he said oh ok passed... whew
YES
😄🤙🏼
❤

👏👏👏🤙

That would suck if Dom's paint job washed off

Don’t forget clean the muffler! Hahahaha
Definitely an aircraft-worthy setup! I'm a retired Mechanical Engineer and a long-time Hotrodder. I know how much work goes into making a custom system!
Wow so awesome
