Glad i found your videos, i will be contacting sson, my 2021 Chevy Bolt with 19000 miles is in service waiting to get its 4th battery installed (3rd replacement )
So i have a question, what about thay 5k negative equity?? In my case i bought a truck, 23 silverado. The oneninwas rrading in had 10k negatibe equirt, bit the 23 model had 10k incentives and rebates to offset that. So ....if i went for a buyback, would I end up maybe owing the bank after all its said and done??
Hey I reached out to the firm I do have a question I do have negative but also have a rebate that was paid by the dealership to cover the negative equity. How does that calculate in Mississippi?
I don’t know how things are calculated in Mississippi, but in CA, we don’t count rebates as part of the refund typically. It may be completely different in your state though. I suggest speaking with a local attorney to confirm.
How long does the process usually take from the time you file to settlement? I have a 2023 Corvette with 7500 miles. At 500 miles it required a new transmission. At 7400 miles it required a new engine. It spent a total of 50 days disabled. I am in California.
Question- In the example you used with the client having negative equity and they made monthly payments which was a credit, is that a CA law or is that basically a part of the calculation in other states? I am in NY and going through the same exact scenario and I am being told that the monthly payments I had made are not going to be included since I have negative equity which I think should be included in the calculation..
Hi! I’m less familiar with NY, but I would find it really hard to imagine that your payments don’t count at all just because of negative equity. They should very likely both be counted. Do you have a lawyer already? If not, it’s a great opportunity to get a free consultation with a local lawyer. An intentional miscalculation by the manufacturer could give you MORE rights.
@@sinarezlaw I have an attorney but I have been speaking with the paralegal the entire time and have not gotten a straight answer back. I am looking all over the internet for information on how it works.
What exactly would qualify a vehicle as a lemon? My truck jerks forward when downshifting from 2nd to 1st and sometimes when I'm completely stopped. Dealer said they can't do anything cuz theres no codes. I thought a recent recall was going to fix the problem and it didnt. They've had my truck for 10 days already and haven't heard anything.
The answer will depend on a lot of things like which state you got your car in (to identify which lemon law applies), whether it was new, CPO, or used non-CPO. Are you in California? If yes, reach out to us using the link in the description or bio. We give free consultations and can review your records.
What if my lawyer told me that we dont fall in lemon law buy back the first time i talked to him, but we are qualified to a cash settlement. Then aftr few weeks of waiting my lawyer called and said the manufacturer offered a buy back, i said thats great let start the paper works with that. I gathered all the requirement from the bank. Then aftr 3weeks, the lawyer just told me Im sorry they made a mistake you are not qualified to a buy back. Is that the manufacturers fault or my lawyer for not questioning the offer the first time he saw it before offering it to his client.
@@iammcmags6557 very hard to answer without personally being involved in the negotiations. All I can suggest is that if you can still get repairs under warranty, that can further strengthen your case.
If I am doing a lemon law, should I do in state of purchase or state of Residence? Purchased in Missouri, but live in Ohio. RV and its horrible. owned 45 days.

So, what you're saying is he may still owe that negative equity that the rebate covered? I'm confused. @@sinarezlaw

If I have any attorney for my lemon law case, do I have a right to see what GM offered my attorney
Yes, definitely.
Awesome! It seems as though my attorney doesn’t want me to see what GM offered. What verbiage do you suggest I use to get them to allow me to see if ?

I purchased it in Indiana but I live in Ohio and my lawyer said that he submitted my case under the Ohio Lemon Law. 🫡
