    I own a 2013 MAX that I’ve had completely high performance modified and haven’t had an ounce of problems with it. It dynos now well over 200 hp at the rear wheel. And still handles like a champ on the backroads as stated. Just remember to respect all that torque and you’ll be good!

    Great video. Please keep the MAX videos coming. I bought a new 2020 VMAX last month. I’ll keep the stock exhaust. It looks so cool from the rear with four tubes staring at you. Besides the small tank, another thing I don’t like is no center stand. Hard to use the oil sight glass alone or without a stand. I agree with your comments about a lot of people knowing or hearing about the VMAX. It turns a lot of heads and gets a lot of comments everywhere I go. Not many Gen 2s around. I have yet to see another one..either on the road or parked.

    Had a 92. I added frame braces and solid motor mounts and the handling improved 100% thanks to no more "wobble" at 45mph or 80mph. Before I added frame braces the bike was highly unstable at certain speeds. i also added a stiffer fork brace as well. ive considered a 2nd gen but I dont ride much anymore due to living in a congested area and distracted drivers running rampant. i dont need speed like i used to.

    Subbed.
    I've been looking at Vmax's for awhile now (kinda looking at Concours' too, but I'm a cruiser guy at heart). Awhile back, I ended up going with a V-rod Night Rod instead (which I've already sold lol), and while it was a great bike, I mainly was just too hasty buying it and noticed some worrying damage to it. Live and learn, someone else's problem now!
    Still, that leaves me with my Honda Shadow. I love this bike but it definitely lacks that UMPH that I, as a red blooded American male, need to have fairly often. I was actually considering grabbing me a gen 1 Vmax since it would be financially viable to get one and keep my Shadow, but now you got me thinking that maybe it'd be worth selling the Shadow and just grabbing me a gen 2. My main concern honestly is comfort and if the Vmax makes a good "only bike".
    Fuck it, I'm rambling. *I know you touched on the comfort level of the bike, but I'm really curious on the viability for light weight "touring" of the Vmax. I know it's got a smaller range, but idc much about that since I gotta break often anyway. How do you feel when you get off of it after awhile in the saddle?* Thanks, man. Sick bike. Even if you don't have the time to reply I appreciate the video a ton. I'll be taking note of what you did in case I do end up grabbing one.

      It would depend how tall you are, I’m 6’2 and the mids get a little uncomfortable after a while, but you can add forward highway pegs which help with that.
      Plus you’ll be stopping for gas so much that you’ll have plenty of chances to stretch lol

      @BloodPlusPwn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SiegfriedsMotorwerx Thanks for the reply. You're a bit taller than me so if it's manageable for you. That's a good point though about getting lots of chances to stop and stretch haha. I might just pull the trigger on this!

      My diavel got knocked over in the garage, insurance deemed it to be trashed. I was gonna get another diavel, it was my dream bike for years. Loved it. Couldn't find a good deal got frustrated , was waiting for so long.
      Then Vmax showed up, 3k miles on it all the extras so I decided to go for it. First impression was , holy shit its heavy, slow speed turning took time to get used to comparing to diavel. Those drag bars probably make it more difficult..
      Other thing was my legs were super high when you rest it on foot pegs, comparing to Ducati. Diavel was a beast, super fast but when I twist that throttle on vmax its on a diffrent level fast. The manner it gets you there its so much more intense. Other than that they are both musle cruisers very similar in my opinion. Both have long wheelbase. Also when I changed tires on vmax to Shinko it completely transformed the bike. Stock tires were horrible.

    I have a 2009 which I bought new. Its the best bike that I've ever owned. I've left mine completely stock. I like the look of the stock exhaust system. The only thing that I have done to it in 11 years is tires, oil, and coolant. By the way, you can easily remove that ugly safety sticker on top of the air box cover by heating it with a hair dryer for about a minute. It will then peel right off. That being said, if they had solved the gas tank/mileage to get 150 per tank I would have kept it. The Harley 131 is a joke. Everyone that is serious goes aftermarket... the new ones can easily get 160+HP for 4-5k... An important factor to consider too is insurance cost. Insurance for a new Harley is like $50 a month, a sport bike is like $300.... in one year of riding the Harley you could save enough to buy a bigger built motor for it compared to any other sport bikes. Sure it won’t be quite as fast but most people don’t go over 100mph anyways...
