  • This video is about dealing with the emotions of finding a job. You are not alone in this!
🙏 If you're familiar with my content, you know I'm passionate about job hunting strategies, tips, and defining what makes a job fulfilling. Today, I'm setting aside the tactics to address the heart of job searching-the emotions, the challenges, and the resilience it demands. This message is for anyone who's felt the weight of searching for employment, for those who've faced rejection, and for anyone needing a reminder: You're not alone. 💖
🤗 A Heartfelt Connection: Through my interactions, I've seen the struggle, the hope, and sometimes, the despair in your comments. It's tough out there, and hearing your stories of searching for weeks, months, or even years without success truly moves me. I want to reassure you that your feelings are valid, and you have a community here that understands and supports you. 🌟
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 To Everyone, Especially the Guys: We often struggle with expressing our emotions or admitting the stress of job hunting. It's okay to acknowledge this struggle and seek support, whether through friends, family, or professional help. Remember, it's okay not to be okay. Your worth is not defined by your employment status. 🛡️
💪 A Message of Hope: Despite the challenges, remember, this too shall pass. For every story of hardship, there's one of triumph. You have the power and agency to influence your journey. Yes, the job market can be daunting, and rejection is tough, but every application, every effort, is a step forward. 🚀
🔍 You Have Control: It might feel like you're shouting into the void, but your voice matters. The statistics might seem disheartening-200 applications to land a job might sound overwhelming, but remember, persistence pays off. Each application is a seed of opportunity. 🌱
🛠️ Here to Help: This channel isn't just about finding any job; it's about finding the right job, a career that brings joy and fulfillment. While the path may not be easy, and it may require patience and persistence, know that I'm here to share strategies, encouragement, and support every step of the way. 🌈
🌟 Your Journey Matters: Whether your next job is just a stepping stone or the career of your dreams, remember, the search doesn't end there. Continue to strive for what you desire in your work life. You have the strength to overcome this phase and emerge more resilient. 🏆
💖 A Wish for You: I hope for you the perfect job, colleagues who become friends, a fulfilling work environment, and all the small joys that make a workplace special. Remember, your journey doesn't end at the next job offer-it's an ongoing path to finding what truly makes you happy and fulfilled. 🌼
🙌 Stay Strong: Only two outcomes exist-finding a job or giving up. Let's choose the former together. Keep pushing, keep applying, and most importantly, keep believing in yourself. Your perfect job is out there, and with each other's support, we'll make it to the other side. 🌉
🌟 Best of luck on your journey. I'm rooting for you, every step of the way. Together, let's look forward to the day when we can reflect on this period as a challenging chapter that led to greater things. See you in the next video, and eventually, in a brighter future. ✨

Sir in case you didn't saw this was my response to your answer on last video -here is the problem my reason for gap was family reasons helping single mom who was working till retirement past 3-4 yrs now i am free and during this time i haven't worked or volunteer as its not a big city where i lived till now but i have watched many useful lectures on TH-cam & attended webinars about my field along with being involved with industry professionals through various groups.. so can i say all these things in interview ? What more reasons should i mention to not sound unprofessional in any way ?? What will increase my chances of getting hired ? If i show some expertise on public speaking or communication skills would that work make me stand out from the rest of candidates...

Make sure you go back and take a look the the previous video's comments section. I think I responded to each of your comments. That said, happy to answer here. Be careful about exposing too much information about your gap time. You can simply identify in LinkedIn that you had a gap to assist in significant family matters. No-one will push on this. Saying "I learned a bunch of stuff online..." will probably do more harm than good. I would like to help a bit more, but I think I need some more information to do so. What is your desired role? Did you complete your degree? How long has it been since graduation? Do you have any experience in the field you are pursuing? Do you have friends, classmates or colleagues who are doing this work currently?

@@BetterThing-jobs One of my friend who also completed course internship with my at that point of time is still in the industry who now has 4 years of experience working as Hvac design engineer.. but now market recruiters are preferring 1or 2 years of experienced candidates and less entry level jobs so i have to tackle this issue also...

@@mohibquadri4053 , based on this, I think you may be in an ok position. It actually sounds like your career was sidelined a bit by covid timing followed by family commitments. 2019-2020 was a pretty tough time to start a career. That said, unfortunately, I think you missed the boom window in 2021 to jump back in. It will be a bit more difficult now. look up some friends from your degree program and your internship. Start with reconnecting with those individuals, understanding where they work and seeking a referral to their company. Book one reconnection per day on the calendar. Try to meet someone for coffee or lunch as often as possible and phone when necessary. Let them know you are ready to get back to work and could use some help with a referral. People want to help people. They will help if they can. That is the way you are most likely to find a job. Secondarily, apply and get to the hiring manager asap as I mentioned in the previous video. It is never good enough to just apply online. You have to make human contact face to face preferable, by video conference as a secondary option, then phone. First contact can be made by email or inmail but only as a means to set up an actual dialogue.
