Gudday Astar i used to enjoy watching you on the Good Morning show when i worked night shift .Seeing as He is an Engineer you could always call it "Hammer ",a modern version of the cavemans club.Anyway it's definitely a knockout! I always got a thrill from hearing you on good morning referring to hubby as "The Engineer".
I would like to know why aren't you using natural grain alcohol, the one that is 100+ proof.The higher the proof,the faster it will evaporate. This is what I'm using now, as the ones I made with water won't last as long.Plan on trying this recipe with the 100 proof vodka. Thank you for the recipe.Love your videos.

I absolutely love sandalwood and vanilla also, and especially red sandalwood and vanilla combined. I have a beard oil that is scented as that and even though it's made for the beard, I actually like to work it over my body after a shower and it works wonders as a moisturizer/subtle fragrance.

What exactly are you putting the aloe Vera gel in there pls lady? Is it not gonna clog up the atomiser spray bottle? Gonna get all sticky and clog it up?
Hi Astar, try having a look in your pharmacy stores for eau de cologne or orange flower water you use them in things like manicures or in bathwater, pour some into a spray bottle then add your essential oils on top, I made my own fragrance using that method and the oils I used were grapefruit, lemon, neroli and bergamot and clary sage and loads of people commented how nice it was

I'm not so sure, but give it a good. Be careful though wearing lemon on the skin as it might react with the sun and it might BURN. I'll give it a go and see what happens. Cheers Astar
The Engineer, my husband, is not keen on these smells but I sneak it in the washing rinse cycle to freshen his business shirts and he smells to die for!

Hi John, I did a Google search and library search when I started and its been the most fascinating journey and discovery. TBH I've had some horrendous botch-up disasters but that's the best learning process. My tip is to keep really good records because as I also discovered if you make a fragrance that matures out nicely and you go to repeat it... these notations come in handy. In which case you should exchange the drop of vanilla for 1 squirt of WD40 or some similar lubricant like Hoppes gun oil .I'm not kidding.
