- Jenny reviews the 2018 Isuzu MU-X in the top of the line LS-T trim.
About a year ago the MU-X, as well as the D-MAX, received loads of new features and perks including more modern design, new interior styling and features, new suspension setup -
The LS-T was previously called the LS Terrain. The top trim level comes with some hints such as 18” wheels, aluminum side steps, and roof rails.
The engine is a 4 cylinder 3-liter turbo diesel with 430 Nm of torque and 130 kW of power. According to Isuzu the MU-X officially consumes 7.9 l per 100 km.
For its category, the Isuzu MU-X is a well-loved 7 seater with good off-road capability. No wonder it remains a popular choice in Australia.

MuX may not have the strongest or fastest engine, it may even have one of the loudest engine while idling and running. It may not even look cool or elegant. But I value my MuX. And WE value our rides. Because its features like space, reliability, relative ride comfort and ease of maintenance matter most for us.
I have been more than happy with my mux lst. Front end looks are no big deal when you have a bullbar and the rear end is nowhere near as ugly as the paj sport or the everest. It is a simple, honest and reliable vehicle. I am sure it will be more reliable in the long term than it's contemporaries too.

3 tonne tow limit lets it down! 3.5 tonne or nothing is what’s needed in Oz.

try driving a base model, no phone, no comfort and no desire to drive the horribly thing, about an hour driving before fill out of the door and have to go for a long walk, the AU Falcon was a better car.
