- Swirl flap blanking kit fitted to E92 335d. Similar to 330d, 530d X5 etc. E46/E53/E90/E60 etc. M57 Variants
Apologies for the wobbly camera work 🤷♀️
Best video I've ever seen on removal of swirl flaps on TH-cam!
Going to be doing this soon on my 2006, X5 !! So hope it all goes to plan !!
Good luck, be careful not to drop any washers etc on the inlet ports. Think they’re easier on the X5 as not as much in the way.
Hi there, good video, can I ask right a the end you don't have the EGR hose connected do you remember where it connects? I checked the vacuum on mine and discovered it was not plugged in at the non EGR valve end. Thanks
Hi mate. It should plug in to a y piece under the manifold if I remember right. If you’re isn’t giving a vacuum then chances are you’ve got a vac leak. If so it could cause you to be down on power as the turbo is actuated by vacuum pressure.
Great video pal
Thanks mate
Hi buddy! What size are the blanking plugs? And also why do you have to leave the pump actuator and put the switch back on for? Cheers
Size I’m not 100% sure on, but think it’s the larger of the 2 options for the m57. Leave the actuator connected so the car still thinks it’s there and doesn’t throw a fault up.
Manuveration you know 😄 🤣 legend
🤣
Hi, I dropped a gasket in the engine, how can I get it out?
Turn the full car upside down and shake it, if that doesn’t work then maybe use a bit of wire to try to pick it out?
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa what a LEJ
Does this mod needs to ecu tuning? Or it’s usable with stock map?
Ecu doesn’t need touching. It still thinks they are in place as the solenoid that controls them is still connected electronically, but the vac connections are blanked off.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos So we will not have check engine light and fail code(s) right?
@@F-Arda as long as done in the same way, then you shouldn’t have an EML.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Thank for answering all the questions:)
@@F-Arda no problem!
