Fire-red cherry shrimp: We love green hair algae

  • This 20G shrimp aquarium is set up with gravel, driftwood, rocks, and only one kind of plant, green hair algae. The green hair algae are very good for cherry shrimp, and look great.

    Bro, can i very kindly ask why you used vomit gravel that litteraly releases chemicals into the water?

      The blue gravel was used before for keeping goldfish. They are silicon coated with beautiful paint color, and are safe to both fish and cherry shrimp.

      You are right that they are not real natural. They are silicon coated by manufacturer with artificial color. Many pet stores sell these kind of gravel.
