Wera!... I'm very impressed, your very professional!... You make U.S dollars and spend it in Mexico...How smart is that!... You guys are living the rich life, with a modest salary... That's the way to do it baby!...
Mista Dre easy bro u don’t need papers and nothing. We Mexicans accept everyone with open arms. Just don’t get in trouble cuz we Mexicans hate being humiliated lol jk jk. Go bro it’s nice people and people is even nicer in central Mexico where I am. North Mexico is most like USA and south Mexico is like too aggressive because u know it’s poor and people needs more education in the south. The best in Mexico is central Mexico. I’m from Guanajuato close to Jalisco Michoacán and Mexico City and zacatecas Durango Sinaloa those are the nicest people there
I am confused over estadounidenses as well though. Mexico is technically Estados Unidos Mexicanos, so this terms for US citizens seems a little off too. That's why we usually just use Gringos haha. No confusion there:)
+kinetic Kennons, hahaha try being Hispanic and making the same mistake lol, they will chew me out and say I have a cactus on my forehead "tienes el nopal en la frente", lol, simplest solution i have is "U.S American". The origin of gringo for mexico was clearly made for U.S Americans, but in South America, the word spread and evolved to meaning simply foreigner yet still slightly associated with us U.S Americans.
My daughter flew to Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta all by herself last year. She said that people were so nice and friendly, she said it’s a lie that Mexico is nothing but crime. She loved it so much that she plans to move to Puerto Vallarta one day.
Glad to hear you're spending less than you earning but to be honest, even knowing you're earning us dollars, you're living in one of the expensive cities to live in Mexico. You guys can save more money if you move on to cities less touristic than Puerto Vallarta, even Mexico City in "rich" zones could be cheaper... Just saying. When you guys come to Ciudad de México should do a meet and greet, would be nice meet both of you!
That's the plan man! The more we travel in Mexico the more we realize how expensive vallarta can be! We will definitely do a meet and greet whenever we go there!
Kinetic Kennons hey amigos don't trust people too much down there keep your distance , if I were you I 'll stay where you are even if it's more expensive than others city's at least you know it's safe there and I would have people guessing what do I do for a living and not reveal , take care guys and be safe les mando un saludo desde north Carolina
Marco Rocha Yeah, you're right but violence and untrusting people could be every where in the whole world. I'm not saying "hey come here with me" I'm just saying that if they want to save more money they could live in some where else, cheaper. Also I'm not saying go and live in Culiacán or Nuevo Laredo, I said Mexico City where could be a lot safer than those last places. It's up to them. By the way, not because there's bad people means we are all bad people.
Jr S Well if you're afraid about the nature, you're afraid to live. Mexico's earthquake united mexican people as I've never seen in my entire life, I've never felt so proud of being part of this, being mexican. Sorry for you.
I'm starting to see that y'all are gaining a lot of subscribers quick I'm afraid y'all won't be able to respond to my comments anymore, but that's a good a thing! I'm glad both of y'all are living the mexican dream in Mexico! Y'all should apply for mexican permanent residence soon!
I am Mexican American, have traveled to Mexico from one end to the other and in circles. The warning you could give adventure seekers to Mexico is to always keep kleenex's on hand when going anywhere (if you're going by car keep rolls of TP and paper towels). Especially once you're out of the city and into remote areas, must have toilet paper! When I first went many years ago after graduating from High School, I gave some to some little Indian girls in line in the bathroom. They accepted the TP with great gratitude but put it up to their little faces like it was a soft, foreign treasure! They bent over and picked up some old newspapers and leaves instead!
Loving your videos guys😍😍😍 I recommend Guanajuato where you can find mummies from ancient times in Mexico and find out about how the Catholics used to tortured people who didn't believe in the religion. It's a beautiful place.
I love Guanajuato. But the mummy museum is terrible. And they are not like Egyptian mummies that are truly from 'ancient times.' They're actually from very recent burials. The bodies have not been prepared like in Egypt. They were simply mineralized and preserved by nature. And then dug up. It's so disrespectful--like if they dug your great great gandparents, because that is really how recent these dead are. And then they do this spooky music and voice-over to make it like some kind of haunted house. Just avoid that terrible place and enjoy the city and the people!
Hey guys!!!!! I’m from Dallas also and my family is from Mexico 🇲🇽. I love how you guys travel to all these beautiful places and show people how awesome México really is and that it’s not just about the “touristy” areas. Keep doing what you’re doing and being awesome!!!!
Hello fellow Texans! Your lifestyle is very inspirational! Thank you for living and loving Mexico. I hope you get to travel to many places in that great country. Keep on sharing!
You two are delightful. This is my first time watching the Kennons and will not be my last. Hillary you are a natural comedian and would be good at stand up comedy. Thanks guys.
I love Mexican culture. We’ve had a lot of Mexicans move to my area over the years. They’re culture has spread through my community. And I love it. I’ve started learning Spanish.
Hi, Greg and Hillary! I wish we could see Greg editing the videos and the website and Hillary hard at work crunching numbers. I know you like to keep it simple and natural, but sometimes playing Casey Neistat is funny! Also I hope I can take my Drone and cameras soon to PV to make a full documentary about you guys.
I used to do video production work - and I can contest that it does take longer than most people can imagine. They're also very responsive to comments, and that also takes a boatload of time. Very informative video. I know this is a lot to ask - because I'm not a budget type of person either - but it would be cool to know the typical money you spend each month (rough estimate) in PVR (housing, utilities, food, etc). Again - thanks for your videos - you two rock!!!
+auctionjjk thank you so much amigo! If you want to do it the right way, it takes some effort! But as you know, it is all worth it! We will have yo try and keep trsck of our expenses for a month to make a video about it!
New subscriber..fellow Texan..San Antonio...been working on my own La Guera who does speak Spanish about moving to Mexico for retirement. The scare tactics of the US Media had her terrified of beautiful Mexico. I finally convinced her to go on vacation this past July and she fell in love with the beaches and the people. I haven't convinced her to move as of yet but your vlogs are definitely a step in the right direction. You two are naturals in front of the camera and your down to earth personalities really draw the viewer in to your message. I love your new MISSION...not just deserts, donkeys, and drugs! Keep up the great job..I really enjoy seeing someone else living life to the fullest...I'm working on changing mine to yours. Do you get to watch any Cowboy football games?
Hola Brian! Together, we can slowly brainwash her and convince her to move to Mexico haha. Let us know how we can throw in some subliminal messages!! Haha. Thank you so much for your kind words man. Comments like this keep us going strong! We do get most of the games, though the 7pm games are hard for me to watch since we go to bed so early haha.
Im from dallas and graduated UNT , one of my goals is to live in Mexico City, so it’s great to see someone be able to do it. Gonna keep up w your videos
Wow! First off, you guys are hilarious! 😂😂 Secondly, you gotta love technology! You are so blessed to be able to work remotely, get a paycheck and live in paradise. I'm from Mexico but being living in the USA for 26 years. I might start exploring the remote possibility 😀 Keep up the good work. I love your vlogs!
Thank you so much Alejandra! We are definitely very lucky to live in the generation that we do. We can fully use technology to our advantage! Working remotely isn't for everybody, but it is definitely worth looking into!!
Love the day to day videos :) Man keep them rolling out, and it's cool to know how you stay on your feet down there. My suggestion in Mexico.. You know.. Mexico City was my fave.. and I'm hoping to add some spots in the Yucatan :) Puebla was actually cool for a few days also.
Thanks so much amigo!! Hopefully we can check out the Yucatan pronto! The longer we are here the more I learn about all of these amazing places that we have yet to visit!
My mechanic is building a house down in Puerto Vallarta and he's going to help me when I move to Mexico soon. Can't wait! Glad to come across your vlog
Haha yeah I saw the big key calculator & I knew she had the Right setting & the standard equipment for this. She knows what she's doing. Got her finger on the pulse.
PDB Long all tho she is Not all doll up in this video I was like what a mess she is look at that hair When she was eating at the rest. Come on just clean up
My mother lives in Tecolotlan, Jal. It about 4hr from Puerto Vallarta in the heart of Jalisco. I live in CA, I am planning to visit my mother soon and go to Puerto Vallarta for my first time, watching your videos get me really excited and can't wait to go with family.. thk u enjoy all your video.
Im Mexican-American, been living in Texas my whole life but I’m considering moving to visit my native country and possibly live there for a while :) lovely video, glad you’re loving it there.
I see many coments complaining about potholes so here is a brief story: 30-some years ago I met a great lady from Finland (Eira) that lived in the small town of Bucerias, on the north part of the bay where PV is located (Bahía de Banderas). She met her mexican husband (Nazario) from that town while both were working for a cruise line. Once on a bumpy ride in Pv she started complaining about a pothole we hit, but then she kind of reminded herself that she moved from Finland Because! of the potholes. She explained that in Finland everything was so orderly and controled that she found a very diferent life that she liked much more. (Not to mention the weather or the cost of life) I wonder how she might be doing now with progress reaching Bucerias. It must be a totally different town now tan when she arrived, with 'Nuevo Vallarta' being developed around it.
Just stumbled into your vlog.... you guys are super amazing. Very charismatic and fun to watch. I also see how much work you’ve put out on each video. Keep up the great work guy. Cheers from Toronto Canada!
We haven't been enough places to say where not to go. We feel safe here, in Queretaro, in San Miguel de Allende and in Vallarta. However we are going to travel much more outside of those areas as well, I just don't want to tell you wrong info if we haven't experienced ourselves.
Hey amigos ....i really loves your vídeos and always made me hun gry because i eat a lot and you show many classic mexican delicious dishes .....continue enjoying the delicious food of my country...
That is a tough question as it varies greatly depending on what you want and where you want it. Maybe 800 a month for something really close to the beach that is pretty nice, washer and dyer, etc. You can find way cheaper but it won't be on the beach, prob won't have ac. Condos could be anywhere from 120K for a nice but older one in a decent neighborhood up to whatever you are willing to spend. I know those answers aren't super helpful. If you email me some parameters I can try and be more helpful though! KineticKennons.com
Poor to middle class anywhere from 10000 to 100000 dollars depending on where and what neighborhood. Google casas en venta and the city name and tons of websites will pop up. If the price says mn after it, that stands for moneda nacional meaning Mexican pesos, sometimes they are listed in dollars especially in border states.
My girl is from cozumel and last time I was in cozumel we Decided to take a trip to a HolBox Mexico A little island the has no cars just golf carts and bicycles it's is a real nice place to just go relax and very Quiet I really recommend it.
Great video im actually from denton aswell and seriously considering moving back to mexico and seeing this really makes me think i can really do it best wishes
I know you might point me to an earlier video for this question, but does mexico allow you to buy the property you live in or are you limited to renting?
As an American, I struggled when I lived in Mexico with the "cash only" way of living. It was kinda a culture shock. I also lived in Jalisco. I empathize. The way it worked for me was If one has a Bank of America account there are no ATM fees if you use a Serfin Santander ATM to withdrawal. I didn't make much $$$, BTW so the savings of no ATM fees was nice --DJ
Check out "El Dorado Resort and Spa". There are actually two of them. As I recall, they're both all-inclusive but, in different areas of Mexico. The oldest of the two is on the Riviera Maya (getting close to furthest south in Cancun) The last time I went down there, I stayed at the newest of the two and stayed in a Casita on the beach. It was an awesome trip too and, not sure which I like best because, both trips were awesome
I just started watching your blogs and i already like you guys . Hope to enjoy the time you have to stay in Mexico and don’t listen to the negative people or the bad aura they might try to put on you guys . Keep on doing what you love to do . I’m Mexican but I live in Washington state .. saludos wero y wera 👍
BIG time!! probably half as much depending on where you compare it to. A small town in Mexico is about half as much as a small town in USA and a Big city is about half as much as another big city. So if you come from Small town USA CDMX may. not be that cheap. but another small town would be
Jose M Pulido 2 it’s a lot cheaper if you’re making USD then having it converted to pesos. but it’s a lot harder to earn the money there than it is here in the US. My aunt gets 1,000 pesos every week. In USD that’s 100$
I totally believe you are early risers, I usually get notifications for your videos at 6 in the morning so yeap, no doubt about it greetings from the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert ( Saltillo that is)
Haha who doesn't want to start their day with a gringo trying to speak Spanish?? haha. When I do those videos I try and make them and edit them all before we go to bed so that I can hit publish as soon as we get up!
One suggestion: Even if the video is in English, you could make the question of the day in both, English and Spanish. Just let people know in the videos in Spanish. That way more comments will come.
I'm out of Dallas and am thinking about relocating to Canada or Mexico in the next 3 years. I think Mexico will be the winner due to the culture and cost of living.
We live here just on a 6 month tourist visa. So that means we have to go back every 6 months just for 1 day. But if you want to stay indefinitely you would need a resident visa. Unfortunately I don't know much in the way of how to obtain a visa.
There's something called Temporary Resident Visa for people who want to stay in Mexico for longer than 180 days but no more than 4 years. consulmex.sre.gob.mx/leamington/index.php/non-mexicans/visas/115-temporary-resident-visa
You may want to take Gaby's advice and learn about your other visa options because the visa run you describe above is coming to an end, due to a pushback against Trump's immigration policies. Visitors will now get "one" 6-month tourist visa "per year". The new policy is already on the books and just waiting to be implemented. Prepare yourself. Also, you need to cool it with the videos showing you at your desk working. You're not allowed to "work" in Mexico on a tourist visa.
You can apply in your nearest mexican consulate in the US or if you live in Mexico City you can apply in the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, there's also offices of that Secretary all over Mexico where you can also apply. You can find the form and requirements online.
I am so glad you guys found your home in mexico ,i to Jalisco 3 times a year, guadalajara, you name it i never have any problems ,very safe i levo going there , just always be safe and enjoy life,
What is one thing you or your community could "have less" of?
Kinetic Kennons cigarette butts
Traffic! 😣
I could have less contamination and garbage on the streets.
Holes on the street
Kinetic Kennons Chicas "fresas" .....which litetally means "strawberry" girls..
here in Monterrey and San Pedro, theres a lot of girls who are a lil full of themselves haha....gorgeous but self-centered if u know what i mean..
so the expression we use for them is... "fresa"
esa chava es bien fresa ....por ejemplo :)
Bendiciones!

As a Mexican living in the states all my life, I can say that I love all the info you guys provide! Thanks
You guys are really eating real Mexican food. Those are the original enchiladas. Not the oven ones.
I know Mexicans are Americans too. "US Citizens Living in Mexico" just looks like a little clunky.
Pahahaaaa Oh man! If I had a peso for every time we got in trouble for that while making videos in Mexico. 😂 -Ash
You can call yourselves like hispanics call you "estadounidenses".
I am confused over estadounidenses as well though. Mexico is technically Estados Unidos Mexicanos, so this terms for US citizens seems a little off too. That's why we usually just use Gringos haha. No confusion there:)

Loving your videos guys😍😍😍 I recommend Guanajuato where you can find mummies from ancient times in Mexico and find out about how the Catholics used to tortured people who didn't believe in the religion. It's a beautiful place.
Dang that sounds intense!!! Thank you so much Jenifer, we are actually going to try and go there in January!!
Yup, nothing says beautiful, like Mummies and torture 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now, Guanajuato is beautiful, all kidding aside.
The bad is that the museum charges to see a bunch of bones.

I was actually just thinking about doing something like this. A video that shows what we do the other 23 hours and 50 minutes of the day lol
I love watching you guys, it shows that you really love Mexico and you tell it how it really is and not how the US media and Hollywood portray Mexico.

You guys should take a trip down to Taxco, Guerrero. It's such a beautiful city up in the mountains.

Im Mexican-American, been living in Texas my whole life but I’m considering moving to visit my native country and possibly live there for a while :) lovely video, glad you’re loving it there.
I feel cheated. All this time, I thought you were a professional Boogie boarder Surfer, Greg. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
haha just part time!! Sorry to disappoint:/
Kinetic Kennons Thanks for all the work you put behind on each video👍
Of course man! It is a blast to do so! I love creating this videos and the entire process behind it!
(Not to mention the weather or the cost of life)
I wonder how she might be doing now with progress reaching Bucerias. It must be a totally different town now tan when she arrived, with 'Nuevo Vallarta' being developed around it.
When will you make a cosinando con gringos series??
Creo que thursday or Friday we are going to cook some Mexican food!!
Just stumbled into your vlog.... you guys are super amazing. Very charismatic and fun to watch. I also see how much work you’ve put out on each video. Keep up the great work guy. Cheers from Toronto Canada!
Were you trying to say (apparently the name of the restaurant on 3:29): "El Compañero" or "El Campanario?" I betcha it was either or, but not both.
the second haha Campanario
This is awesome. I’ve been wanting to travel to Mexico but have been too cautious. Any places you wouldn’t recommend to travel in Mexico?
We haven't been enough places to say where not to go. We feel safe here, in Queretaro, in San Miguel de Allende and in Vallarta. However we are going to travel much more outside of those areas as well, I just don't want to tell you wrong info if we haven't experienced ourselves.
My wife is from Nayarit and she wants me to go but Im super cautious. Hey I just heard you were pick pocketed I’m very sorry to hear that.
Alright alright seems like we have a new atole fanatic!
She is an addict lol
Hey amigos ....i really loves your vídeos and always made me hun gry because i eat a lot and you show many classic mexican delicious dishes .....continue enjoying the delicious food of my country...
What's the cost of rent there? and how much does a house cost to buy?
That is a tough question as it varies greatly depending on what you want and where you want it. Maybe 800 a month for something really close to the beach that is pretty nice, washer and dyer, etc. You can find way cheaper but it won't be on the beach, prob won't have ac. Condos could be anywhere from 120K for a nice but older one in a decent neighborhood up to whatever you are willing to spend. I know those answers aren't super helpful. If you email me some parameters I can try and be more helpful though! KineticKennons.com
Kinetic Kennons ok thank u
150k us will by you 2000sqft home in a great neighborhood close to the beach.. $200k is the sweet spot there from what I've heard
I love you guys you are super cool, the both of you. Everytime I see one of your videos"Positive energy" runs right through me. Please keep em coming.
"Stop yelling, babe." Hillary-ous!

I know you might point me to an earlier video for this question, but does mexico allow you to buy the property you live in or are you limited to renting?

Tambien, quebramuelas, cachetadas, qe pruebe Los cacahuates cocidos
Artisan sweets or bust!
Yes, I like this idea
What internet service are you using to work from home and is it reliable enough? Also, what’s the average cost?
You guys should visit Leon GTO
It’s beautiful
I live in palm Picacho gto
I get notifications "every time." You both are changing my bias opinions as to Mexico. To date, I've watched about 40 videos. keep them coming.
Almost 40?! That's awesome! Thank you so much!!
I seriously wish Hil would stop being So Dern shy 🤣🤣🤣
ahaha she needs to let her guard down haha
Seen you on another channel jen
As an American, I struggled when I lived in Mexico with the "cash only" way of living. It was kinda a culture shock. I also lived in Jalisco. I empathize. The way it worked for me was If one has a Bank of America account there are no ATM fees if you use a Serfin Santander ATM to withdrawal. I didn't make much $$$, BTW so the savings of no ATM fees was nice --DJ
Why didn't you run for your comida corrida?
lol I wouldn't have gotten as wet if we did that now would I? And it would have made for a solid joke. Dang it!!
always look forward to your videos 👍👍!
Thank use much amigo!!
My Husband is from Puebla. It's BEAUTIFUL and have lots of natural springs.
Do you have an instagram to follow u guys?

This is what I have always called “living the American dream in 🇲🇽 Mexico”
Puerto Escondido oaxaca 👍🏻😀
Love your videos guys!
You got a new subscriber!
Thank you so much!! You are going to love it in PV!!
Do you think that its more expensive or cheaper to live where there is a big expat community? For example would it be cheaper to live in Lake Chapala?
Rent, meals and utilities are pro'ly a lot less ($s) in México than in the USA, aren't they?
BIG time!! probably half as much depending on where you compare it to.
Oh, I sees. Thanks for replying.
Challenge Adventures 1,000 pesos is way less than $100
Manuel Del Angel okay lol
I totally believe you are early risers, I usually get notifications for your videos at 6 in the morning so yeap, no doubt about it greetings from the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert ( Saltillo that is)
Haha who doesn't want to start their day with a gringo trying to speak Spanish?? haha. When I do those videos I try and make them and edit them all before we go to bed so that I can hit publish as soon as we get up!
Google duo ad about 90 times so far
haha for real? I get a bunch of Tae Lopez ads.
ad-block pro would take of that
I went to Puerto Vallarta long ago and planning to go this year . You seem like having fun . Keep those videos coming
One suggestion:
Even if the video is in English, you could make the question of the day in both, English and Spanish. Just let people know in the videos in Spanish. That way more comments will come.
+Luyz Qint that is a great idea!
I'm out of Dallas and am thinking about relocating to Canada or Mexico in the next 3 years. I think Mexico will be the winner due to the culture and cost of living.
actually the noises aren't that bad
From the fan? Yeah it wasn't as bad as I though. Sometimes our camera picks up everything though!
I love your guys channel! No because your in mexico but you both have a great sense of humor and are funny.
WHY I HAVENT SEEN THAT ALPASTOR VIDEO 😂😂😂💀😂😂
it is called "It's Mexico ft. Dos Gringos" lol. On our channel:)
Kinetic Kennons I love you guys !!!
I think Aguascalientes doesn't get enough credit. It is at the top of my list: great weather, lots to see for its size, and friendly people.
What is the legal process to live in Mexico, do you need some kind of work/resident visas or something similar?
You should have an fm2 or fm3 :) hehe
Love that you guys pick México to live and work and specially puerto Vallarta. You two make a awesome couple and hope all the best for you guys.✌️
