Same here in Chinada under Turdeau. Canadians sleep in tents or the side walk, new comers hotels and houses paid for by Canadians. I never would have thought in my wildest dreams I'd consider.leaving Canada.
Oh! Gee! Do you know approximately how much that would be, a year, if one does live in one of those houses of before the 90ies? One should also take in account the huge renovation costs. This can amount to buying an expensive house, anywhere!
As a retired Canadian, living under the liberal/socialist/marxist JustInflation Trudeau tax nightmare, think twice before coming to Canada. If you decide to relocate here your most likely going to declare bankruptcy, unfortunately the social assistance being not enough to exist on makes living conditions horrendous, however tent cities are popular now with immigrants. Overpriced homes, groceries and overtaxation is now a new liberal sport, fun game , where government goons get paid handsomely while taxing you into bankruptcy. So yes come to Canada and explore the frozen countryside, heating and electricity costs so much that you’re going to have fun deciding who gets your merger paycheque, the overpriced rent payments, the overpriced housing, groceries, healthcare, gas, heating and of course high tax’s on everything. But many immigrants find the government hand outs, food banks and accommodations under bridges favourable.
The liberal/socialist/marxist system that you are unnecessarily whining about is the same system giving you the social assistance that you are complaining about not having enough of 🤔 You cannot have it both ways, you is spoiled. I thought that was only a d*"best USA thing, believing that you can ever have it both ways.
Before moving to these countries, research first. There're some things they're not telling you. Ireland is not so good to move to - Google & research & see for yourself. Do the search with each of these countries - the pros *& the cons.*
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: [08:52] 🇨🇭 Switzerland: The Swiss town of Albinen offers approximately US$27,000 to those who move there and US$11,000 per child, but you must be under 45 and agree to be a resident for 10 years. You also need to be a citizen or permanent resident of Switzerland or Ireland, and agree to purchase a property that's a minimum of about US$214,000. [09:19] 🇹🇼 Taiwan: Taiwan will pay you a pretty handsome sum if you move there to teach English, anywhere from US$2,000 to US$3,000 per month. You can easily get by in cities like Taipei on that salary. [09:59] 🇬🇷 Greece: The Greek island of Antikithira is paying families to move there. If you decide to make the move here, you'll not only get a home and land as part of the deal, but you'll also be paid €500 (US$535) each month for the first three years. [11:06] 🇲🇺 Mauritius: Mauritius is paying startups 20,000 Mauritian rupees (US$433) to move there. No, it's not a ton of money, but keep in mind that the cost of living is very affordable here. In order to be eligible, you just need to present your existing startup or startup idea to a committee who will then decide whether to approve you for the grant. Made with HARPA AI

As an American, I'm fascinated by the idea of countries paying people to live there! It sounds like an incredible opportunity, especially for anyone considering a change of pace or remote work abroad. I’d love to know more about the requirements-are these incentives mainly for certain professions, or are they open to retirees as well? Also, what’s the cost of living like in these places? Thanks for sharing such an interesting topic!
@@ICXCTSARSLAVY Thank you for the tip! I didn’t realize there were towns in the USA offering similar incentives. That’s definitely something I’ll look into! I’m curious, though-do you think these offers are sustainable in the long term for those towns, or are they more of a short-term solution to attract people? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I'd like to point out that the decrease in European populations is by design. Add to that the current climate in Europe is heading towards martial law imposed by the EU and the 3rd World invasion of European countries, Europe is probably one of the worst choices to move in to. Taiwan isn't a safe bet either because of the constant threat of Chinese invasion. That leaves Chile and the island off of Madagascar. Both of them want you to bring a business with you.
"martial law imposed by the EU"? "3rd world invasion"? These are right-wing conspiracy theories. I would be extremely dubious of these claims. Nobody of any real credibility backs them up.
Wow, congratulations on your impressive investment success! Your discipline and focus on delayed gratification is truly inspiring. Do you have any tips for those of us who are just starting to dip our toes into the world of investing? Thanks for sharing your story!
Your info is way out of date. Ireland stopped offering benefits to do business there years ago, and Dublin is the most expensive city in the EU to live in.
The Sask Party is offering graduates of Saskatchewan universities tax incentives not to move away to another province (or country) after graduating, which tells you that maybe there's a reason people want to leave the place. I live in Saskatoon (born and raised), and I can confirm our winters are brutal (regular -30C days, occasional -40C days, and even sometimes a -50C day or two each winter). Lots of snowfall too, so lots of shoveling. Poor city planning has led to lots of urban sprawl with narrow roads, which means it could literally take days for the city to free your car from the snow after a blizzard. The drastic temperature differences between seasons also take a toll on our roads, which causes nonstop road closures in the summer to patch them up, and the patch-ups are sometimes cheaply done (e.g., gravel thrown in a pothole) to save money. Low population means there's not much to do, which means more boredom, which means more crime. Still, it's a very affordable place to live in Canada, even despite our insane housing market now (which hasn't affected Saskatchewan too much), and for the most part it's a friendly community. It's a great place to start a family or immigrate to if you don't have much money.
Speaking as a Canadian, I would not encourage moving to Canada. Canada is currently broken and unaffordable thanks to the incompetent and corrupt Liberal/NDP Govt. I'm watching this video to explore options of leaving Canada. PS we do not have free Medical Care, it's tax payer funded.
This is an interesting topic! Some countries actually offer incentives, like cash or tax breaks, to attract new residents and boost local economies. It's amazing how some places value new residents enough to pay them to live there! Great for those looking to experience a new culture while saving money.
i am Canadian… THERE IS NO FREE MEDICAL CARE - only if you’re on disability or welfare, and even then it’s minimal generic care… You pay monthly for medical, either directly or through your work deductions… PERIOD. and if you wanna know how “wonderful” Canada’s medical system/care is, think again - 20 years ago my mother (on disability) was left to suffer 5 hours with a perforated intestine, jacked up on pain meds, then sent home when toxins were being released into her blood… a day and a half later it ruptured, she went in for emergency surgery and died that night from toxins in her blood. Her surgeon asked me why she’d not come in earlier for treatment - I said that she did, and the hospital (Burnaby General) sent her home - you know what he said?… “oh”… that was it, that’s ALL he said… she was 65 - many doctors/ surgeons/hospital staff are paid 3 times LESS than in any other western country, they also come from 3rd world countries and are not properly schooled/trained
FYI: All of Canada has free medical care, not just Saskatchewan! The federal government has also created a program to encourage new immigrants to move to Northern Canada as we are trying to populate our Northern Regions. Immigrants can choose this program now, which comes with many benefits. In the future they are talking about forcing new immigrants to go there as a condition to live in Canada, but not yet. Northern Canada is breathtakingly beautiful, is vast, and needs a great deal of people to build its infrastructure to accommodate population growth. It's like building a practically new country when you think about it. It already has governments set up just like any other place in Canada. We just need people to built it up. Roads, housing, airports, businesses, everything. There would be work for every person at every skill level because there is so much to do. I think it's quite exciting. I kind of wish I was young enough to contribute something to this growth, and even though I am already Canadian, I would consider moving there just for the adventure and to be a part of the development. Plus, as the climate warms, so does the weather in Northern Canada. Meaning this will be more tolerable for people who are a little weary of the cold. But I'm not talking about living right beside the Arctic Circle. I mean further inland near places like Yellowknife and spreading out anywhere North of that. So much opportunity here. Also, we are building up our Military presence in our Northern and Arctic waterways, because the ice is melting around the Arctic and this allows the Russians to get closer to us. There will likely be a new Military Base or two constructed and that will also require a lot of infrastructure around them. So, if you want to more North and build it up practically from scratch with full support and endless opportunities, go to the Canadian Government website and have a look.

They couldn’t pay me enough to move to Canada, it’s become all but a dictatorship under Treadeau. Taiwan may see great but with things going the way they are, you’d soon be under a communist Chinese rule with no freedoms at all and a good chance of being arrested as a spy the first time you complain. And Greece is a beautiful country with some really wonderful people and destinations but there’s too much political upheaval and corruption there. I’ve watched and seen the “protests” that far too often become extremely violent and destructive. Could you do a list of countries that have incentives for retirees to move there. At 63yo I would get nothing for the countries on this list.
I wouldn’t move to Santiago, Chile. Lots of people get sick from the bad air quality. Lots of smog there for sure. There are other reasons like the high vehicle congestion and convoluted traffic everywhere. All the best. ❤

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there was no country that paid individuals to live there for free on a large scale. However, some countries and regions have offered various incentives and programs to attract residents, particularly in sparsely populated areas or to boost their economies. These incentives might include tax breaks, grants, or subsidies, but they usually come with certain requirements or conditions, such as starting a business, investing in the local economy, or moving to a specific region. Please note that the situation can change, and new initiatives may have been introduced in various countries since my last update. I recommend checking with the latest sources or the official websites of countries that interest you for any updated information on residency or relocation incentives they may be offering.

Legrad in Croatia is about as far away from the coast as its possible to get without leaving the country, so the shots of the crystal blue Adriatic sea in that segment were misleading. They're not giving away properties on the coast thats for sure. Croatia is a beautiful country well worth a visit, and Legrad is quite pleasant, but not exactly a jewel in the countries crown. 15 years is quite a commitment.

Thank you for being brave and telling it like it is. Rare act these days, 1984 is their modus operandi.

Before moving to these countries, research first. There're some things they're not telling you. Ireland is not so good to move to - Google & research & see for yourself. Do the search with each of these countries - the pros *& the cons.*
I lived in Ireland, it sucked ass. Bad weather, expensive and nothing to do there.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
[08:52] 🇨🇭 Switzerland: The Swiss town of Albinen offers approximately US$27,000 to those who move there and US$11,000 per child, but you must be under 45 and agree to be a resident for 10 years.

Hmm, Trudeau is offering ppl to live in Saskatchewan? What the heck! Buddy there’s nothing in Saskatchewan except winter.
Yetis I hear
Im in the winter more than 3 months in MI it can snow anytime, ok with me, I can travel in the winter, thats my profession...
PS we do not have free Medical Care, it's tax payer funded.

i am Canadian… THERE IS NO FREE MEDICAL CARE - only if you’re on disability or welfare, and even then it’s minimal generic care… You pay monthly for medical, either directly or through your work deductions… PERIOD. and if you wanna know how “wonderful” Canada’s medical system/care is, think again - 20 years ago my mother (on disability) was left to suffer 5 hours with a perforated intestine, jacked up on pain meds, then sent home when toxins were being released into her blood… a day and a half later it ruptured, she went in for emergency surgery and died that night from toxins in her blood.

Taiwan may see great but with things going the way they are, you’d soon be under a communist Chinese rule with no freedoms at all and a good chance of being arrested as a spy the first time you complain.
