@Kinetic Kennons either way you should come visit Monterrey when you get a chance, it has more of a modern city feel to it but there are also some historical districts still around and some pueblos magicos pretty close by not to mention the beautiful mountains and the different beautiful ecosystems, big waterfalls, forests, deserts, rocky mountains to climb and a lot more to explore, lookup "matacanes" on youtube if you're a fan of adventures

Hey guys, I have been living out here in Guadalajara for twenty years now. I was born and raised in northern California. I live about five minutes from Tlaquepaque. Great to read you guys enjoyed Tlaquepaque, it is also one of my favorite places.

Kinetic Kennons Guadalajara is beautiful. I'm pretty sure you would love Querétaro. I would gladly send you a list of great spots to visit in Querétaro and the best "hidden" eating gems in town. Thank you! Mexico is such an easy place to show off! It's hard to explain to people that haven't been here without seeing what it looks like for yourself. We are consistently surprised by how beautiful some of the places here in Mexico are!

Morelia is by far the prettiest and patzcuaro a town by a lake near by. However, the best looking people are in GDL and los altos de jalisco. Not that does important since you guys have each other! My dad is from Morelia and my mom is from GDL. Thank you for taking time to appreciate Mexico for what it is and not the stereotypes. I hope that through your videos and your channel you guys educate more people and make it a living out of it.
Hello! As usual, love your videos. Hey, trip tip: since you're in Guadalajara, please take the train tour to Tequila town. You can go by car or take the Touristic train. Tequila is a beautiful town. Of course home of the most famous liquor in Mexico. Once there go to the "Tequila cuervo" facilities and take the tour. You'll love it. Saludos!

I visited Guadalajara for the first time this September. I spent sometime in Tlaquepaque and other parts of the city. The Culture and good there is amazing.
I love your guys videos. I was just in Guadalajara this last October. My favorite place in Mexico by far. Next week I’ll be in Puerto Vallarta for a week. Also, you should have made the trip to Tequila!
Your pronunciation is going great!!! I've got almost all of my family here watching. So glad you found the ice cream 🍦 I just love how gracious you are, even if you don't really like something you're so positive! I want to more like that!
Thank you so much Iuz! We have one more GDL vlog that will be posted and then we have a really fun one planned for Thursday! Thank you so much for being a part of our little community!
I'm from Guadalajara but living in the US since a few years ago. What a great surprise to watch this videos from you visiting many of the places and streets I walked by and see that you enjoyed as well. I watched some other of your videos (UNAM - where I studied, San Miguel de Allende, etc) and are awesome! Thanks for sharing this from a gringo perspective! Enjoy my Mexico!
Is a natural Multivitamins. medicine and for lovers too! Fermented drink of Mexico. is the big secret why Mexicans always are happy. Try Pulque, tepache. Pozol......50 more...
Another fantastic video! I'm so excited for the Zapopan video because that's where my dad's side of the family is from so I've spent a lot of time there growing up. It usually gets overshadowed by its big sis GDL in most travel blogs and I've always wanted to experience Zapopan through the eyes of a tourist/visitor. Check out the Basilica of Zapopan and the surrounding area. I'll keep my eyes open for the next vlog. Always a pleasure to watch, thank you.
Zapopan video uploading now. It's in Spanish though and we got super tired and ending up not really doing anything there lol. We still made it a fun video but it deserves another video to truly show off the beauty!
Vamos amigo! You will love it! Thank you so much for watching. I am glad you enjoy the videos! My goal with each video is to be able to rewatch it after a few hours of editing and still be entertaining. So far there are a few people out there that seem to have the same taste that I do!
Every morning is watermelon water for me. Just a carafe of pure chopped watermelon liquified, no water or sweetener. Such a cleansing way to start my day after fasting all night. My husband makes fresh waffles for everyone else almost every morning. They go to the waffle house once a week for chiliquiles rojos. He likes machaca breakfast too, like you.
Thanks bro for visiting Mexico, we are happy to have you always here and thanks for breaking stereotypes about Mexico! By the way good job with the camera
Thank you both for being positive (MEXI-tivo) and a very likable couple. Continue sharing new experiences, places, things, reactions and your assessments...also keep sharing historical tidbits (year buildings were constructed) as it warms my heart.
I liked the video so much! I'm Mexican and I haven't been to that place, and I like your channel because we get to see the most beautiful and touristic places in Mexico, I hope one day you can film a video vlog about San Miguel De Allende, best regards from Mexico City
Thank you guys for your awesome videos! You're giving me so many Mexico travel ideas! Next year will be a "get-to-know Mexico" year for me. Lots of love from London, soon to be back in LA.
Thank you Becca!! we want to do the same thing! The more we learn about Mexico the more we learn that we know nothing about Mexico lol. It is so diverse!
Great stuff! You guys are inspiring. My wife and I and our teenage son are going to start exploring Mexico to find a place to live for a while so we can immerse ourselves in the language and culture. Our basic requirements are a lap pool where my wife can swim, A music scene where I can play drums and a teen scene where our son can skateboard and make friends. Do you think these things are possible in PV? Should we even spend the time and money to go check it out? Plane flights are expensive and I have very limited time off from work. We are thinking that maybe a place like San Miguel de Allende might better meet our needs. What do you think? Thanks so much!
Hola Tim! Thank you so much for reaching out. Unfortunately we have never been to San Miguel de Allende so I don't know if it would be better or not. A lap pool in Vallarta might be hard to find. A lot of places have rooftop pools, but they are usually no bigger than a normal pool you might have in your backyard. However, there is a good music and skateboard scene! We always see people doing both in Lazaro Cardenas park! To travel to either location or not is a tough decision. If you didn't have kids I would say just go for it and even if you pick the "wrong" place, you are still going to love it even though maybe it's not the perfect fit. However, throwing kids in the mix makes that decision a lot more difficult. Feel free to shoot as email at KineticKennons@gmail.com or on Facebook.com/KineticKennons and I can try and help out as much as I can without you having to come here!
Tim Welch .....I recimmended Cancun , Puerto Vallarta o Queretaro , very near of San Miguel de Allende ....San Miguel de Allende is highly recomended.....enjoy México
If you want mix pool and drums the place is Veracruz city. Like Miami. very hot. The Riviera Maya. is another option. Lol. You will have trouble with that. hundreds of places to choose.
Hey guero, looks like you are a baseball guy. I am a baseball guy myself. Next time you are in Tlaquepaque we can hang out at the local baseball stadium and have a brew or two. SALUDOS!!

It's free? You know how to speak to my heart! haha. That would be so much fun! We want to go to CDMX soon so hopefully we can make a vlog through the streets on a bike!
I recommend Mexico City during some holidays because the city it's a little bit more empty and you can enjoy it better, like Semana Santa (spring break), many people leave the city those days.
Hello! My boyfriend recommended me to watch your videos and I loveeeee how cool you are guys! I was recently in Tlaquepaque and I think it is such a cute place to visit. I like how you portray Mexico as it is, with no propaganda or exaggerations. Have fun!! :D
Thank you so much for watching and for those kind words! We never even thought of our videos as showing Mexico in that way, it's just happened organically, which I think is the best way!
I know I have said this many times before, but this video was amazing. After watching this, I know we are going to visit Tlaquepaque. It looks like so much fun. I want to know where your hotel was so I can book the same place and be able to walk to many of the site in Guadalajara and then taxi/uber over to Tlaquepaque for a day trip. You guys rock!
Hi, Great Video! I am from GDL myself and it makes me happy seeing people from the US appreciating my city and my country in general (especially in the current political environment between the two countries). Two things to add to your video: First, Tejuino is made of fermented corn and two, tortas ahogadas are meant to be spicy as hell so I am not sure how much "chile" you pour on it but I didn't see your eyes dropping tears in excitement so, next time try it hotter! Keep enjoying GDL and keep the videos coming, it´s a great way to reset other people´s mindset about Mex.
Haha thanks so much Manuel! It's an easy place to enjoy and to show off! I can't do the hotsauce like you are supposed to haha. Even a jalepeno makes me cry!
Wow tlaquepaque looks amazing! My father was born in Tonala Mexico which is about 20 minutes away & I can't believe I have never been to tlaquepaque before when I have visited. You guys are awesome & thank you for showing the positive & amazing things Mexico has to offer. We usually hear of so much negativity coming from Mexico especially with the current political climate here in the USA. Keep making cool videos & I just subscribed to you guys.
Thank you so much for subscribing and for commenting J Padilla!! We really appreciate that. Hopefully through our videos and our small community we can show what Mexico is really about one video at a time! Tlaquepaque is worth the uber ride to get there! I suggest going earlier in the day if you can. It got pretty busy around lunch time!
My good friend Saul is from Guadalajara Jalisco and he's ethnically Spanish and French. He's very much a stuffy colonial European at but he's beautiful. He's also pale as death.
Kinetic Kennons not really it is so popular in Jalisco but not so much in Mexico City but one recommendation I have for you in Mexico City is taqueria el borrego viudo the best alpastor tacos you ever taste my friend go and check it up you are not going to be disappointed
Thank you Albert!! Thank you for watching and for supporting us!

Tejuino: Fermented corn dough. same as the kind tortillas and tamales are made of made in drinkable way. That and tortas ahogadas are the most typical food and beverage of Jalisco. (People from other portions of Mexico do not like either of those, because the sourness or sogginess of them) Safe travels.
I had no idea that Tejuino was a regional thing. I thought it was just a mexico thing! There are so many regional foods and drinks. Just means I need to go to all regions to try them all muhaha
Kinetic Kennons Yes, visit Guanajuato, the state capital of the same name and San Miguel de Allende. You can do both on the same week, they're relatively close to each other. I went to Jalisco this past may and tried the tortas , but I didn't #really like them. At the same stand they had some sort of tacos which were prepared the same way as the torta, with the sauce and onions. I liked those better, but I missed my gorditas for breakfast which are more of a traditional breakfast in the state of Guanajuato. Love the videos btw.
Kinetic Kennons yeah, tejuino is definitely a regional thing because my family is from Sinaloa (about 800 kms north of Guadalajara) and I didn't grow up drinking tejuino; I heard about it well into my 20s. I love tortas ahogadas but it's also a regional dish from Jalisco. If you decide to venture out to the northwestern region of Mexico (Sinaloa and Sonora), you'll find that the food is less spicy, the dishes include a lot more beef and you'll discover an array of delicious seafood dishes as well.
I was wondering about you guys !!! So happy that you are loving Guadalajara as much as I do. It has so much to offer. Glad you like the Torta Ahogada. I don't know if you are back in Vallarta, if you are stil around go to Tonala.
Please do not go to Tonala, has nothing to offer, only if you go to the right store and shops is good if not, everything is made in china, so few real mexican crafts left.
Kinetic Kennons They are playing this Saturday at 9 against pumas you guys should go. 🐐🇦🇹 #ChivasdelGuadalajara. I have always wanted to go to that stadium. My family is from there and I haven't been there since I was 12. Great State Beautiful Guadalajara so colorful and beautiful mariachi music. 😎

Love your videos travels ❤you guys should go to zacatecas 🌵❤ fresnillo zacatecas or bigger city zacatecas zacatecas won't disappoint.keep the videos coming hello from southern California❣🌴
chris camacho welp! that's news to me every part of Mexico is beautiful if you know where to look even the most remote secluded areas that people don't know about or have little inhabitance are gorgeous it's all in the eye of the beholder. Zacatecas still on my map of beautiful places to see and visit and explore historical.
chris camacho Ridiculous, Zacatecas City has arguably the most attractive historic center of any Mexican city. The state also has natural and archeological attractions, such as the Sierra de Organos and La Quemada.
Chihuahua? Durango? No offense they're great (and nice) cities, but Morelia, Guanajuato, Puebla, Zacatecas, Oaxaca, Mexico City, Campeche, Tlacotalpan, Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende, San Luis Potosí, and Lagos de Moreno are the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE cities. :)
The firsts were aguas frescas Greg had horchata and Hillary strawberry, I've never liked Tejuino, as someone said you either love it or hate it, there's no gray area. I saw the tittle and Greg since you are into history, the reason why there are so many colonial and European style buildings is for one the Spanish coming to America and destroying all indigenous, but also during the late 1800's we had a president (he stayed in power for about 30 years) named Porfirio Diaz and he loved the French culture and architecture and a bunch of buildings were constructed during this period.
Our country is our planet 🌎 it’s hard to understand Trump , the best medicine to the racists people in this world 🌎 is traveling around the earth 🌏 after that the will think 🤔 that we are the same
purple. The reality is because the Mexicans are copycats LOL. They always copy and paste. the best of many countries. in Mexico, you will find more of 50 countries inceptions
Por lo que se ve en el video no tenia buen color el tejuino creo que estaba muy rebajado o que era agua miel, el tejuino es una fermentación de maíz, se podría considerar una cerveza espesa y sin alcohol. saludos
Tejuíno is a cold beverage made from fermented corn and popularly consumed in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Tejuino is usually made from corn dough, the same kind used for tortillas and tamales. The dough is mixed with water and piloncillo (cone-shaped unrefined brown sugar) and boiled until the liquid is very thick. The liquid is then allowed to ferment very slightly. The resulting drink is generally served cold, with lime juice, a pinch of salt and a scoop of shaved ice or lime sorbet.

I hope that through your videos and your channel you guys educate more people and make it a living out of it.
You forgot San Luis Potosí my town
I'm a Spanish teacher in the US. I love your videos. Just started showing them to my classes. So Exited I found you guys!!
Saludos!
Thank you amigo! We weren't able to make it there this time around, but that train ride sounds amazing!
I give props cause y'all ain't nieve, very caring, giving to what the culture's struggles. Putting in the labor and sweat gives you grace and faith from my culture.
So glad you found the ice cream 🍦

I'm from Guadalajara but living in the US since a few years ago. What a great surprise to watch this videos from you visiting many of the places and streets I walked by and see that you enjoyed as well. I watched some other of your videos (UNAM - where I studied, San Miguel de Allende, etc) and are awesome! Thanks for sharing this from a gringo perspective! Enjoy my Mexico!

I'm Mexican and love watching your videos. Thanks for showing me my beautiful country thru your videos. Be safe out there😙
Thank you Laura! that means a lot to us!
Vengan ha oaxaca amigos
I love your videos, they're so great. The more I see your videos , the more I want to go to Mexico and experience it myself.
Vamos amigo! You will love it! Thank you so much for watching. I am glad you enjoy the videos! My goal with each video is to be able to rewatch it after a few hours of editing and still be entertaining. So far there are a few people out there that seem to have the same taste that I do!
What does a typical weekday morning breakfast look like to you?
I used to eat oatmeal every morning but now it just consists of one piece of PB toast
Kinetic Kennons you should try some huevos rancheros that's my grum
Kinetic Kennons hola amigos los veo desde Dallas tx . me gustan sus videos
Omelettes, toast, and coffee!
Thanks bro for visiting Mexico, we are happy to have you always here and thanks for breaking stereotypes about Mexico! By the way good job with the camera
Thank you so much amigo! We loved this area of GDL and we need to go back ASAP!
I hope that you guys can soon visit Morelia, Puebla, Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Oaxaca, Campeche, Queretaro, etc. :D
Hopefully we can go to all of them:)
monterrey
Thank you both for being positive (MEXI-tivo) and a very likable couple. Continue sharing new experiences, places, things, reactions and your assessments...also keep sharing historical tidbits (year buildings were constructed) as it warms my heart.
Thank you so much!! We will definitely keep on keeping on haha
I liked the video so much! I'm Mexican and I haven't been to that place, and I like your channel because we get to see the most beautiful and touristic places in Mexico, I hope one day you can film a video vlog about San Miguel De Allende, best regards from Mexico City
We really want to go there soon! Thank you so much for watching Alex!
Thanks I appreciate it! Having several requirements helps us narrow things down quickly and you are right, we can always move!
Love the love you show for my culture... Ms Hillary and you are just adorable!....thank you!!!
thank you so much for those kind words:)
You need to checkout these:
-plaza tapatia
-gallerias mall
-Andares mall
We missed all of those:( Just means we need to go back soon! We loved GDL! Thank you for your recommendations and for supporting us:)
Galerias and Andares? Plastic shopping malls, really?
Hey guero, looks like you are a baseball guy. I am a baseball guy myself. Next time you are in Tlaquepaque we can hang out at the local baseball stadium and have a brew or two. SALUDOS!!

Thank you for helping to support us and make what we do possible. We appreciate every view and especially every comment that you leave!
They do this in Mexico City as well so next time you are there you will want to try it out. You can even borrow a bike for a couple hours at no charge!
Great video as always guys keep them rolling!
Thank you Andres!
When i think in a gringo, i think like this one: 2:38
lol. That's me! I am pretty much the poster boy for what gringos look like lol
Haha, exactly my thought
Thank you so much Ed! Just sent you a message with hotel information!
Come to Morelia, trust me it is amazing!!!!!!! the weather is cool
That's my kind of weather! The Vallarta summers will take it out of you!!
saludos goyo
mag yes! Morelia is amazing!
I barely can understand, but I love your videos, you are a cute lovely couple, enjoy my country gringos, you are welcome :)
Thank you for watching Abril! Mañana habra un video en espanol:)
Amazing how fast time flies... And now your headed to 100k subs... So awesome... Keep doing what your doing...
Beautiful town. I definitely want to visit there. Will put it on the long wish list, lol.
haha that's how I feel too, lonnnnng wish list lol
My good friend Saul is from Guadalajara Jalisco and he's ethnically Spanish and French. He's very much a stuffy colonial European at but he's beautiful. He's also pale as death.
Ahaha I love Hillary’s face whe she was tasting the tejuino hahaha well pronunciation Chico’s

Love your videos. Keep up the great work guys!
Thank you Albert!! Thank you for watching and for supporting us!
Tejuino: Fermented corn dough. same as the kind tortillas and tamales are made of made in drinkable way. That and tortas ahogadas are the most typical food and beverage of Jalisco. (People from other portions of Mexico do not like either of those, because the sourness or sogginess of them)
Safe travels.
I had no idea that Tejuino was a regional thing. I thought it was just a mexico thing! There are so many regional foods and drinks. Just means I need to go to all regions to try them all muhaha
Kinetic Kennons
Yes, visit Guanajuato, the state capital of the same name and San Miguel de Allende.
I was born there nice to see my town again I haven't been there in 10 years thanks guys.
I was wondering about you guys !!! So happy that you are loving Guadalajara as much as I do. It has so much to offer. Glad you like the Torta Ahogada. I don't know if you are back in Vallarta, if you are stil around go to Tonala.
Please do not go to Tonala, has nothing to offer, only if you go to the right store and shops is good if not, everything is made in china, so few real mexican crafts left.
we are back in Vallarta now, but we already want to go back to GFL!
GDL lol
Thank you for all your information about Guadalajara.
I hope it helped! We had a blast there!

Hi guys! thanks for make those videos to remind us how great and beautiful is our country!
+chris camacho a lot of people recomended it so a few people must care amigo.
+lovelyrobles thank you! Hopefully we can make it there next year! We cant wait to see even more of what mexico had to offer!
chris camacho Ridiculous, Zacatecas City has arguably the most attractive historic center of any Mexican city.
Como han crecido Kinectics, aqui daban las gracias por 10K, cuando ahora ya tienen mas de 120K, Felicidades
That is really interesting! Thank you for teaching me a little bit! Learning something everyday is a good thing!
purplesaris how about Maximiliano's influence?
Our country is our planet 🌎 it’s hard to understand Trump , the best medicine to the racists people in this world 🌎 is traveling around the earth 🌏 after that the will think 🤔 that we are the same
purple. The reality is because the Mexicans are copycats LOL. They always copy and paste. the best of many countries.
in Mexico, you will find more of 50 countries inceptions
This is where I used to live. I miss everything. I love the videos you guys are amazing! Now try the jericallas
Thank you amigo!! I have never tried that before, I will have to be on the lookout for it!
Tejuino is like Dr Pepper for Americans. You love it, or you hate it. No middle ground for it lol awesome vid...greetings from Aguascalientes, Mexico.
+Roberto Yañez thats the best comparison that i have heard yet!
Roberto Yañez I love it and wish a cup right now!!!! :(
Roberto Is like viagra. even if you don't need it.
Great Video so glad i found it you two are great, love not hate enjoy México. ♡♡♡♡♡
+mikefra87 thank you mike! #LoveNOTHate
Your spanish is pretty good keep practicing it
Gracias Sphat!
La güera feels so proud of her broken tail bone that I want to break mine too!

Hi, I'm from Morelia. If you like Tlaquepaque you'll like my home town of Morelia and sorrowing it there is lots of little towns like Pátzcuaro. This is where the day of the dead tradition came about- its magical and beautiful.
That's awesome!I I don't think we can do it this year but it would be amazing to go there for the day of the dead!
