Killing Joke's 'Democracy' is a superb album, I'm glad you've picked it up. Sadly the album kind of flew under the radar, it always stays in the shadows of 'Pandemonium'. One month later and it's still hard to believe that Geordie Walker passed away, was one of my favorite guitarists 🕊
I'm really enjoying the new Sadus album, brutal thrash metal. Good stuff!

Great update there James to round off the year. Good to see The Almighty, Cattle Decapitation, KK's Priest to name but a few. The Gama Bomb is ace, I really like the sax on it, works well I thought. Yeah that Phil Campbell album is not bad. Enjoy the new music mate.

Nice update. I also bought the DISMEMBER tape this year, in Portugal in the summer. Nice polo by UGLY KID JOE you are wearing. Nice MEGADETH debut album tape. Super. Not easy to find i think. Mid 90s WARRANT was still good, i agree. Happy new year🎉

Hi James!!! always nice to see you latest music updates.... also glad to see you still adding multi music formats, however it's sucks how expensive vinyl retail prices are in these days. Killer to see that old school Megadeth first album, never seeing in the wild Warrant's Ultraphobic" and i think i have never heard it too..... for some reason The Almighty never made any impact in this side of the world. I think i will have to add KK's Priest album, it keeps popping up. Cool Destruction and Onslaught reissues. cheers and be well
Yeah, vinyl prices in some cases are absolutely insane at the moment. Love that Megadeth tape, essential album. KK's Priest is very good and definitely worth picking it up. That Warrant is good but definitely nit easy to come by. Cheers Cristian
Great update mate. What? No over the top praise on Like An Everflowing Stream..... It's a great classic Swedish DM album, and was very important for me back in the days. Still need to play the new Sadus more, but liked what I heard so far. Not checked out the new Cryptopsy yet..... Love the new Suffocation, killer album. Have a excellent new year. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's a good album but when it comes to Death Metal debuts to me something like Deicide's debut just blows it away. Those new Sadus, Cryptopsy and Suffocation albums are excellent, the old guard are still delivering the goods. Cheers Roger and happy new year to you and yours fella 👍
An excellent update for 2023, James! I'm surprised that Cattle Decapitation's Terrasite is your first album from them. I'm glad you got it on vinyl now. Good to see the latest Suffocation, Cryptopsy and KK Priest. Nice to also see classics from Destruction, Dismember and Megadeth.

Megadeth's debut album is superb, killer riffs and solos left, right and centre. Definitely cool to have that cassette.
Haven't listened to democracy in ages, still have the cd somewhere, must give it another spin. I doubt the band will continue in the future, hopefully they'll put something out cause I do believe they were working on new material.
Can't go wrong with Onslaught! I love that record. Sweet red vinyl 🤘👍

Cool last update of 2023 James! Nice to see Dismember, the new Sadus and Suffocation, and that Onslaught album is the last one I need to check out. I'll probably pick it up sometime next year, I'm only missing that one and Generation Antichrist in my collection. Cheers man, see you next year mate 😊🤘
Those 2 Onslaught albums are ones I'm pretty sure you like mate, excellent modern day Thrash. Those new Sadus and Suffocation releases are great and I definitely think you should check the new Cryptopsy album too . Cheers Josh my friend, see you soon fella

Good to see you hold up that Cattle Decapitation, they’ve added in even more subtle nuances. Those sounds that people think are keyboards are actually guitars, top-notch musicians, and great production from Dave Otero. I recommend Death Atlas (2019), The Anthropocene Extinction (2015) & Monolith Of Inhumanity (2012), anything before that isn’t for me lol. Happy New Year James 🤘

I agree, some vinyl prices are mad. And I agree with what you say on Like an Everflowing Stream, Entombed's first 2 are much better for that HM2 type of death metal. Happy New Year James. Keep up the good work next year.

Some nice pick ups there James Sadus are a band I need to check out in 2024 but I'll probably try chemical exposure or swallowed in black first and the 1st three almighty albums are essential in my opinion I only collect cds and mostly used ones at that but your right about vinyl prices saw one in a shop the other day they wanted £45?! spent all my xmas money on a load of power thrash and prog metal including helloween blind guardian got annihilator's never never land for 3 quid have yourself a happy new year mate!

My local HMV wants 35 quid for the New Dokken album, which can well and truly get in the bin. I have an older Cattle Decap album that i really like. To me though they are aren't a band i need another one from. They have a formula that gets repeated a lot so ended up sticking with the one album from 2015. Mind you i say that knowing you collectors don't feel like me about stuff . Happy New Year mate 🤘
Sometimes Mike i wish I had your more strict approach to collecting as there are some bands in my collection where I have everything and I know that some of the latter day stuff they have put out is nowhere as good as what they once released.
