Few things, usually washer vibrates because the machine is not level or the machines feet cannot grip on the floor. My problem was solved by raising the feet of washer leveling it and then locking the lock nut in place. If above does not solve it problem, better solution is to put rubber pad and then put plywood on top to isolate the floor and also give a good grip under it.
i have a top loading washing machine, so it's usually only shaking violently when it's loaded with more laundry on one side than another, causing an imbalance. it's more likely to be imbalanced with large or heavy items or overloading, and nothing is going to help except opening it and redistributing the laundry. eventually i took the screws out on the bottom for some reason and could never get them back in, but it seems to work just fine and i don't notice any shaking any more, but that could also be due to the smaller and balanced loads
Nice one! Pls next time don’t push down on a glass container, could be very dangerous if it accidentally breaks. I’m definitely making it for my washer.
Your awesome young man.We have those type floor cushions we use for our grand baby to crawl and play on so our cost will be "0" !! And hopefully we say goodbye to dancing washing machine. Thank again!
If the washing machine is completely level, then it will not move. You cannot stop the machine vibrating by using those feet. Those feet are used to stop the transfer of vibration from one surface to another. You can put them under your fridge or whatever machine you like, to stop the irritating noise. For example if you are in the room next to where an electric apparatus is on, then you might not hear the machine's vibrations as much, or maybe it can completely eliminate it. The machine will vibrate as long as it is on and working. If your washing machine moves you need to level it, and if that doesn't help then there could be other issues, which are usually repaired easily. th-cam.com/video/X_T98WlwrYI/w-d-xo.html
Evidently you are having the same problem or you wouldn’t be here watching this. Mine has been dancing since it was new. It is level too. It’s a Maytag top of the line. Before this one I had a kenmore that never vibrated and danced around. The place I bought it from sent their repair man and he made sure that it was level. I guess clothes gets out of balance during the spin cycle. You are certainly right that it needs to be level but that is not necessarily the answer to these problems.
@@JohnDavis-yz9nq Yes true. If everything is fine with the machine, then levelling would help, but if something else is defect, then certainly that needs to be fixed. Clothes definitely get "out of balance" when washing and spinning - the machine has to have the mechanisms in place to treat whatever is in the drum as one unit of mass and spin it. If that mechanism is intact, then its the levelling that needs to be corrected. Regarding your machine: Maybe the place you bought it didn't store it or transport it correctly and the drum got damaged/out of place, therefore its a good idea to get a technician from another company to have look at it.
@@punchipoint8457 my Maytag sits on a bare concrete floor in the utility room with no floor covering. Funny it doesn’t do it when I wash clothes only when my wife does. She doesn’t have a clue about the size of the load to set it on or how to load clothes. When I wash clothes I make sure that I am close when it goes through the spin cycle. When I put it on a lower load capacity it doesn’t move around. When you put it on a high level with not enough clothes in there it does. I had a man that works for Maytag tell me that mine is last of the good ones before they started making them cheap. I have even thought bolting it to the floor so it can’t move.
wouldn't it be better to take and put a whole surface with the faux layer to absorb not only the vibration but the sound coming from the working the machine(back & forth motion, spinning motion)
I have that washing machine... you forgot to take the 4 Shipping screws from behind the washer. That's why it screeches and shakes terrible. Those machines are the smoothest and quietest I've ever used.
@chink &oink Front loading washers come with screws in the rear to secure the drum to allow transport without damage it. When you are going to install it (and in the manual it says and shows it to you) you must remove those screws to free the drum and allow its free movement. Sorry for my English, but I hope it was helpful.
@@MrToede Thank you sooooo much! I was having issues with my machine literally moving in every direction by a lot. All of the advice was based on levelling my machine (and it was, yet it still was dancing around). When I read your comment, I went back to the manual and it was clearly instructed to remove 4 screws/bolts to release the drum so it has free movement. I don't know why I didn't read the manual/instructions first but I learned my lesson. Thank you again.
this is so true. i've seen glass jars break when simply trying to wash them (might've had an old hairline fracture i never noticed from being dropped before or temperature shock), don't put that much weight on glass
Did your ears skip over where he mentioned his dad. How do you know he isnt at his parents? It's annoying when washers dance or rock. If anyone else has the issue and doesn't think of this. Here's an easy diy for a person with that problem. People can be so helpful and kind, sharing tips. 😶🌫️
Pretty silly because instead of working and earning money you spent an afternoon doing this which required many inputs. You have to go and buy the gym mats and if you don't have caps you need a product which has such a container and cap and then spend it all before you can do this. I'd go with the USD17 option.
I must say I agree with other commenters that using a glass jar probably isn't the safest, another option could be to use a soup can. Also, maker shorter videos that are more to the point.
Cut that part where you press your hands against the jar. That is dangerous AF. You don't know how shitty quality some jars could be. I would even expect some to even try that with a glass and have their hands shredded.
You are absolutely right, sometimes I do talk too much in my videos. I will strive to improve my performance going forward. Thanks for the input and thanks for watching...
The foam cost more than the actual foot thing. But thats fine everything you show is Amazon and I dont have an amazon. I see the main point is to fine something at home that we dont use

Very cool video, I wish the video wasn’t over 10 minutes long for 2 minutes worth of information though...
Thanks for the info, I’ll try it out.
Better buy greas from auto shop and apply on sock you will fix that problem very easy thank you

Brilliant Idea.. I'm going to use it to reduce the vibration. 👍
What was the cost of materials and time making them? Betcha more than $17
Exactly, I will just overnight the Amazon one and call it a day.
Don't push down on a glass, if it breaks you will have a really bad day. Just draw round it with a pen instead.
Surgery on my hand when that happened.

thanks for lots of information.
after watched that, i decided to buy one in aliexpress and wait two mouth. just 3 bucks
Thanks you very much young man God bless to you
Well done !
Thanks for posting.
Good ingenuity!
Awesome 😎 thanks for sharing !
Where in England can I get that stuff
Great video !!!
Great comment ;)
very smart Aiman :)
I used them rubber feet anti vibration things, made it worse
Mashallah. Allah bless you brother.
Why does ur washing machine look like it came from a laundry shop. Cool video
Thank u so much brother 🙏 great idea 💡 God bless you 🥰
Please dont put body pressure down on a glass jar like that. It could smash. Nice vid tho will give it a try
You should NOT press down with your body weight on a glass jar! Breakage will cause serious injury! Nice presentation.
It's a Mason jar!
@@victorian.mccormick6298 proof that washing machine engineers are stupid.
My to post is about a dancing washing machine.
Thou$and dollar, high efficiency, LG brand front loaders with storage bottoms - but he's concerned about "free".🤷♂
How do you know how that wasn’t the reason he was able to afford those by saving his money from things can easily be done cheaper.
Did your ears skip over where he mentioned his dad. How do you know he isnt at his parents?

You don't need to do all these. Put a door mats (made out of waste clothes) under four legs. That's it. It will solve the problem
I think this will make the view of the machine messy but it's useful
What is a door mat made out of waste clothes?
I must say I agree with other commenters that using a glass jar probably isn't the safest, another option could be to use a soup can. Also, maker shorter videos that are more to the point.
Take the 4 screws out the back it won’t jump
Yeah the kid's making an instructional video without reading the washers actual instructions... the irony! 🤦♂️
Cool
Bruh thats an insane amount of fiddly work to save a couple of bucks
THANK YOU!!!!!

I slapped a glass jar to seal the top. It exploded, & I had to have surgery on my hand.
I like your ideas but I suggest you not spend too much time on chitchat. Clift notes are better for serious watchers :)

Time is money though.
Thats bullshit, you showed dryer working but didn't realize that the clothes were not moving!

TH-cam is so racist lol. They played a ziplock commercial where they were storing dumplings wtf using chop sticks type dumplings
WTF 😂
I 🤔 your are dancing and walking not washing machine 🤣
Oh..Do not ever put such pressure on a glass - if it breaks you will get a very bad cut.
