Just got new washer yesterday, hooked it up and threw a load in. That sucker was about to go through our wash room wall. Adjusted the front legs to level and still jumping. The wife said she will call someone out to fix so I went to bed not happy. Woke up this morning and found this video and removed bolts, works like a champ. When the wife wakes up I get to tell her I fixed it and save my man card! Great video, thanks!

I’m not married but the same thing happened to me and I just remodeled the kitchen. The w/d in compact and slides under the counter. It looks perfect. Before watching this, the washer practically rattled the whole house. I also saved myself some money.

Well that was embarrassing!!! Just installed my new washer and it was dancing all over the floor, after 36 seconds of your video I realized what the problem was.
I didn't realize they were shipping bolts holding the drum from moving during transportation. After removing 4 shipping bolts everything worked fine, just wanted to say thanks and I'm glad I found this video.
    Cheers cheers cheers.

Sorry it seems you were only talking to America...but you just saved me from insanity in the UK. I’ve had nothing but trouble with washing machines recently, so resorted to buying brand new. Had no idea you have to remove transport locks. I just hope it’s not too late, as I smelled burning the last time I forced the machine to spin while I sat on it!!

Thanks for the video. I was doing laundry with our new washer and it was dangerously moving while spinning, it could have broke the drain and water pipe besides it if I wasn't there in the basement.
I just found the stupid person who came for the installation didn't remove the shipping bolt. I don't have lot of experience with washers.

My parents just bought a brand new 1200 dollar washer machine. And thankfully I remembered this video. They didn’t remove the shipping bolts because they thought the people who installed it did everything for them. If it weren’t for this video, those shipping bolts would’ve stayed in there and ruin the new machine. You sir just saved my parents money. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I just bought a brand new Samsung washer machine and I had exactly the same issue you mentioned. The machine was shaking when it was spinning. I have spent a lot time to read the whole manual book and I couldn't believe it there is nothing to mention about these shipping bolts. I was also trying to level my machines in almost perfect level. However, it was still shaking when it was spinning. It ruined my July 4th holiday because I spent the whole day to try to fix this issue. After I watched your video, I removed 4 shipping bolts, then my machine works as expected. Thank you again!

Just got a samsung washer. Turned it on and as it was going to start spinning, it started to shake like crazy and immediately turned it off. I was so pissed 😤. Finally looked this up and figured it out. Crazy thing, my manual says it "might cause vibrations". I wish it said in big red letter "MUST REMOVE THESE BEFORE OPERATING THE MACHINE" Something along those lines. By all the comments I can see that I wasn't the only one with this problem. Thanks a bunch!!!

I did not notice the 3rd last volt and let the machine wash once. Will it be spoiled? I was so nervous of this. Thanks for replying

Thank you!!! After a very frustrated husband cut loose with some seriously eloquent sailor talk I decided to sneak off and of course to try TH-cam, he wasn’t able to save his man card but I sure got props for saving us a bill from the tech coming out, however he is still very mad at all washing machine manufacturers 😅
