The point of anti vibration pads is not to reduce SPL output in the air of a washer, but rather to decouple the vibration of the washer from the surface below. Heavy vibration from the washer, if it's not in a basement, will likely cause the structure to shake due to coupled vibrations. Floors below may also perceive rattling or shaking.
Is there a need to get anti vibration mat AND 4 anti vibration pads? would that reduce the sound and/or vibration? Or would it further protect the surface below the washer/dryer? Thanks
Hey, thanks for doing that. In my case, I don't think we'll get the pads because we have the washer on a ground floor on tile over concrete floors. You saved me some $$$.
Thanks for the video. I'm plan to buy pads for mine, just researching see which I which ones to try. BTW I'm impressed with those water shut offs:) That's great idea!
Double panels if thats not an option he has a tutorial on a weird rectangle you put on your window to block a good amount of sound, you can took it out in the mornings or only use it at night its nice.
This will make the washing machine move more thus will wear out the washing machine tank suspension faster. There is a reason manufacturers do not advise to use them.
My Condominium complex has 400+ units built in 1957. Please please please all Soundproofing companies you need to target communities like us with advertisements every week. You will become billionaires I promise you.
The thing is... it doesn't benefit people to install them. People are like that. They could care less about you. Ands if they know you have a problem with their noise? Even better, they'll increase the noise.
It’d be great if there was a latex-free product for those of us allergic - 352,600,000 worldwide - give or take. 😉 but there’s a lot of us. It’s frustrating.

Do you know the best way to sound proof a balcony sliding window ?

I put a thick rubber mat under my washing machine. I wish I could give one to my neighbors so i dont have to hear their machine when it spins........
A rubber mat would certainly deaden some of the sound. I’m sure if you’d buy it for them they’d install it. You can’t win every battle.
Yep, using a mat across the entire area provides the best results for sound below.
What if the floor is somewhat uneven?
Most of the legs are crewed in when you came each individual leg a bit longer or shorter to compensate with an uneven floor.

use a crow bar and block of wood to lift it. Or maybe a plank ? Omg some people.
I moved my washing machine into the middle of a field far away from houses and everytime i want to wash my clothes i go there.
Problem solved!
I envy you being able to do that. Cheers my man!
