My friend gave me Homelands and I was hooked. The stories that pulled me the most are the interactions between Drizzt and Artemis. How their existence challenges the others personal code. Seeing both characters progress and grow through the decades has been so enjoyable.
I agree. Hoping to talk more about that in the future. Who Is Artemis Entreri? | Drizzt Do'Urden's Nemesis Explained th-cam.com/video/h_rGTMJzL40/w-d-xo.html
I'm so glad you're doing videos about drizzit I've read all the books I absolutely love them and all the characters in wish they would do a tv show or a movie based on the books thank you for bringing attention to this great character
@TheDrowHistorian you don't need to threat me with a good time hahaha I just introduced Drizzt to my players in a Vecna themed campaign so finding your channel must be fate.
Just keep going in chronological order. Then you can also occasionally do spin off episodes about the most important people in his life like Catti-Brie, Bruenor, Wulfgar and Regis. Then another couple about his rivals like Jarlaxle and Artemis Entreri. Can't wait to see your channel grow in to something great. Fantastic start, keep going!
Thanks so much! Theres a new me up about Drizzt’s scimitars if you haven’t seen it yet. I’m bouncing around a bit, but I have lots of videos planned. I appreciate the support!
I have read them all at least once, listened to them all at least once, and have re-read many of them. Currently I'm building a Compendium that covers characters, major events and plot summaries for every book so I can more easily write scripts. I'm about 100 pages in and half way through the series. it's a massive undertaking! Thanks so much for the support! New videos every Monday!
Thanks so much! I've got a whole bunch of videos lined up for the coming weeks covering many areas of Salvatore's work. If you have any suggestions of things you'd like to see, feel free to let me know. I appreciate the support. Just getting this thing started!
Thanks so much! I've got a bunch videos rolling out over the coming weeks covering all sorts of characters, artifacts and adventures of Salvatore's worlds. Hope to see you again!
@TheDrowHistorian can't wait for the next video my friend. I'm currently reading Timeless at the moment for probably the 3rd read-through, one of my favourite fantasy series
@@MegaDavid1888 Yeah the Generations Trilogy is awesome! Getting the Zak and Jarlaxle backstory is really cool. I plan on re-reading that series again soon.
@@TheDrowHistorian I honestly don't know if I have favorites. Mostly because it's been so long since I read some of them. The ones that stand out are the newest and the first ones. Not crystal shard first but prequels.
@ Servant of the Shard was one of my early favorites. The Companions is up there for me too. But yes it’s hard to remember what happens where, that’s why it takes me 20+ hours to make one of these videos!
@@TheDrowHistorian I got into the books because I had friends that had the first 20 or so books between them. So I read all their books and started buying the rest after that
I have a script written covering mind flayers and some of the psionic characters in Salvatore’s books. I should have a video out for it in a few weeks. Thanks for checking out the channel!
I need to revisit the War of the Spider Queen Books! I have a bunch of videos already queued up for the next few weeks, but this would be a fun one. I'll keep our wizard buddy in mind!
Say, is Drizzt Do'Urden a mixed breed Drukarii-Cadian hybrid? I mean, he does have lavender eyes like a Cadian while still being Drukarii or Drow, right?
@@TheDrowHistorian Oh, well... The similarities are uncanny that it would practically be HERETICAL! And if you're confused, I refer you to the Warhammer 40K game universe! ENJOY!
I always thought Drizzit being favored my Lolth was a cool idea. He is like the ultimate agent of chaos in his treacherous society. Eventually she grows to hate him but at first who knows.
We’re lucky Salvatore continues to write these characters. A lot of the newer books are really great too. I’m excited to talk about some stuff from the more recent books soon.

if that's a nudge for a Guenhwyvar video, you'll be very happy in a couple weeks.
Quick tip, wait a bit longer before you start talking. A few seconds would already help.
At the top of the video you mean?
