Glad to be part of the video! I’ll have a think about what traumatising stuff you can voice on my channel as well!
Love your vids!
I would feel bad if they weren't trying to actively kill me.
Maybe wouldn't ultimately change anything about them being killed though, when a map marker comes to their lair.
Lol yeah, what verbal defense could possibly protect you when there's a quest marker over your head?
Exactly, they actively engage in crimes, from robbery, to necromancy (which is banned at the time), to assault and attempted murder.
But I would indeed like to see bandits that don't attack on sight. Would give the world a bit more depth.
At best they warn you to not come closer, but even then they block vital roads and probably rob anyone who passes there.
@@HappyBeezerStudiosNecromancy actually isn't banned, right? Arch Mage Traven banned it during Oblivion, but it was allowed afterwards (Even if people think it's a bit disturbing)
How are these letters getting delivered though? Proof that the Courier is an omniscient omnipresent Aedric entity
Exactly!
I did use the mod that spawn letters on dead bandits, while the mod is rather nice in itself I uninstalled it in the end, because it would spawn letters too often on their corpses which created another problem: it made each bandit special in their own way, therefore none of them was anymore... so back to square one.
You can change the frequency in the mod ini file I believe.
Here in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, you have to pay for a burial spot, since there isn't enough space. If someone doesn't buy the plot then the body is exhumed after 3 months and put in communal graves.
Wow, didn't realize that was an actual thing!
Isn't too uncommon. In most places the time is longer (a couple decades) but eventually the spot runs out.
These letters won't guilt me because I can't read!
-Grognar Smashgood. My nord barbarian character who was named after his father's favorite drink. (Grog) and his favorite activity. (smashing things)
Lol I love your lore
this could have been cooler if they added a few side quests to the game where you could help the people whose lives you've destroyed by killing their loved ones.
Yes, that's a good idea. The condolence courier.
Love the videos so much your making me want to start another playthrough
Do it!
Just need to figure out what I should play as and what class you have any suggestions

Peak storytelling
Neat idea, just wish it was more than some flavour text in random notes. Gives the player a sizeable dose of ludonarrative dissonance.
4 Months late but this was real good
Skyrim Hype!
First time I've heard a North-American call someone else "mate" lol. Good vid!
Lol glad you enjoyed :)
Mods like these just continue to expand on Bethesda's penchant for environmental storytelling!
This is a really cool mod. In-universe, all these bandits and ruffians are still people even with all of their criminal actions. You never learn what's going on in their personal lives that caused them to turn to the life of a highwayman. Don't misunderstand what I'm saying though, they're still criminals who hurt people at the end of the day, but I'm glad that this mod exists to gives a slight somber tone to the usual bandit hideout raids.
from now on when playing skyrim, i will see bandits in a different way
Same. I see individuals with tragic pasts who still decided to engage in crime.
@@HappyBeezerStudios
This is exactly why I installed a mercy mod that allows me to spare bandits and even make them companions so I can play the game guilt free 👍
So I guess this is the Ooftonium mod... XD
Suggestion: Maybe next time, try to explain a little better the beginning of what is going on with the video. I got lost in the first 30 seconds. Also, the Title doesn't explain much. Love the vids, keep going!❤
Okay, I would become the high king of Skyrim, throwing my hat into the round.
And once on the thrown I set up social services. From a bandit rehabilitation program to government funded education to hiring draugr exterminators/excorcists.
Because instead of slaughtering the bandits, giving them lawful options would be the best way to make the roads safe.
Who drew the thumbnail?
Is that an ENB youre using to get those colours? Cant seem to find anything like it on the nexus
Yep Verdrenna ENB
@@FormerlyBlue Nice, thanks! Activated it now, and it looks good :)
They need kids near them lol
Undertale, lol.
Lol yeah now we need a mod that lets you spare the bandits and then help them support all their sick children and injured parents so they don't need to do crimes.
Ah shit.
I feel no shame.
I just found this channel thinking surely it had been around for years since it’s so amazing but im officially out of videos to watch lol 😭😭😭😭
Ah, well I'm so glad you found it! There will be more videos!
