I’ve dealt with this issue for over a year. This is what I’ve learned: Symptoms can range from itching skin to full burning sensation. The sensation can be felt in 1 or various body locations. Mine is mostly in the upper outer arms, outer forearms, wrists, knee caps, and shins. Symptoms can begin from a single stressful event or a buildup of continuous stress. Another event that can trigger this issue is stopping alcohol/drugs or stopping any other form of self medicating. Still, the root cause is anxiety/stress. Some things that make it worse: High stress levels, focusing on the feeling, researching the feeling, oversleeping, not sleeping enough, cold (goosebumps), certain rough clothing/fabric, lotions with chemicals/dyes, dehydration, salty foods. Things that make it better: Reduction/elimination of stress and anxiety, not focusing on it, not researching it, a clean bill of health from your doctor (you must believe you do not have a disease), soft cotton clothing, yoga, low stress exercise such as walking and light stretching, a regular sleep schedule of 7 to 8 hours a day (no more or less), not watching the news. MOST IMPORTANT: Stop the negative thought pattern. Your brain is caught in a negative loop. You must stop the negative thinking by knowing and believing that you do not have some rare disease that popped up on Google. Trust me, you would know if you had MS or some other disease. I have had months with no symptoms and then a stressful event would occur and it would come back for a few weeks. The most good news is it can and will go away if you reduce your stress and stop focusing on it. You must remind yourself that it is only a temporary nuisance. Good luck!
I want so badly to believe my symptoms are from stress. I’m a pretty sensible and logical person. I’ve had immune disorder testing, brain/cervical/spinal MRI’s, and nerve conduction test. All clear. I’ve had constant burning 24/7 for almost 5 months. It almost seems to be getting worse as it is throughout my entire body. I‘be stopped googling, but I don’t think I’ve accepted that it’s caused from stress. I’ve been trying my hardest to go about life as normally as possible, somedays I’m distracted and it’s not as bad, other days it’s almost more than I can bare. Any help would be appreciated!!!! Is it possible that my nervous system is so hyper stimulated from a medical scare I had in July.. that the symptoms are so persistent?!!!
@@lisacaldas401 Going outside helps but it’ll hurt, I had do go somewhere with my family and I didn’t want to once I was in the car I started to stress over it and it felt unbearable I thought I was dying and I was suffering I even had rash on my forearm til the beginning of my hand but when I got back home it was like it never existed and it went away but it comes back after
@@lisacaldas401 when you don’t understand the feeling it’s worse but once you understand what it is it’s a relief but you’re going to suffer sometimes. Try to relax yourself and distract yourself maybe watch movies or go on good social media topics funny videos maybe nostalgic movies what helps me is Jesus the only one who can help it may not go away but with God pain is temporary and it has a meaning it’s not in vain :)
@@jessicaa6872 I've had this for like 3 months or so now but I think it's chronic because from the comments I see in the vid people say they had it for some time. sometimes it comes harder and other times it'll look like it went away but I still have it and I have no clue how it all started all I can say is I trust God through Jesus no matter what
@@jessicaa6872 same I always do but sometimes we need to just not focus on it I also think when we get the sensation, we start focusing on it automatically and it triggers it more I experience this everyday, for example when I'm about to do something in my head I keep saying "I hope it doesn't happen I hope it doesn't occur" and boom it happens and I'm reacting and it becomes stronger on me and it's a whole cycle it's kinda annoying
Besides burning, have you seen anxiety present itself as itchy, crawly, prickly, stinging, biting, cold, hot, a cold wet feeling, a hot steam feeling, pinching, stabbing, electric zap or shock, nerve pain, tickling, numbness, pins and needles, wire brushed feeling, tingling, carpet burn feeling, or other skin sensations, feelings, sensitivities, and symptoms.
@@DHRUVISM2016 acupuncture and Chinese herbs was the biggest help. Also not fearing the feeling so it wouldn't intensify. Also getting proper sleep at night so your nervous system can be more balanced. It's just an imbalance. Could be something you allergic to also effecting you way more intensely than it usually does. I went to a neurologist but he said I was fine and it was all anxiety related.
Tiffany Dudley yeah I’m Leaning more towards stress and worry anxiety cause I have had long ohases where I was on vacation or working out and I get fine then I’ll be by myself or stressing about work or just alone at night and my clothes start burning skin and nerves firing especially the legs and knees and if I panic and sit and worry more then it’ll spread to face and back and chest sooo scary. So tough to not worry cause I’ve noticed it comes a lot around worrying stressful situation which is worrying in itself
@@DHRUVISM2016 yeah usually what we think causes it, is correct but we have to visit the doctor sometimes for reassurance. Yeah ignoring it helps so much and it is the scariest thing I've experienced in my life 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. I noticed that moving around with it is better than just laying there. Xanax helped with it a lot too initially.
Tiffany Dudley oh yeah totally walks are the best and excercise depending on how much I’m panicking. But yeah laying there or sitting and worrying is the worst u can feel it spreading everywhere. Maybe that’s for 2 years I had it under control this year I focused way too much on it and now have conditioned myself to certain things like clothes or driving or wearing shorts thinking doing that is what vIda used it so it always does it’s so horrible especially the burning and tingling and those sharp burnint tingle shocks. It’s like even the minutest worry or stress turns up my body. I stay away from medication so I guess try not to worry that it’s something for life just accept it’s my anxiety and stress and just try to not focus which is so tough as u know
I get burning, aching, shooting pains, stinging.. all of it. I've had a long history of drugs and alcohol and have server health anxiety. Seen doctors, nurologists and they all say anxiety. This video and the comments section have helped me a lot. Thanks
you are more than welcome. Before my anxiety days i too had issues with alcohol drugs and partying all together. I think its over exhaustion that can lead to something like this. If you fnd time i would suggest having a look at the recovery playlist here on the channel . There i describe in more detail what i believe is one of the best approaches to recovery
@@rosesandthorns1959 the aching, pins and needles and tintius started about 4 years ago. Had tests done and they said it was anxiety. I stopped drinking and tightened up my diet and it went. Except the tintius. I started drinking again pretty heavy and it came back bad! A few months ago. This time I had burning, inner trembling, stinging and pins and needles in my face too. I quit drinking again and went on a carnivore diet, lost about 20lbs supplemented with vitamin c, zinc, b vitamins, vitamin d, fish oil, ashweganda and lions mane mushroom tincture, bought a sleep tracker and tried to get my sleep up from about 3 hours (i was an insomiac for years) to about 9. I joined an anxiety forum called anxietycenter and slowly managed to ignore all these crazy symptoms until they all went. Even the tintius (which was on/off for years). Now i get the odd burning palm here and there and in the middle of the night some times I get the trembling. I have no idea what part of what I did made the difference but I think in general getting my central nervous system to calm down did the trick. Good luck. Report back in a few months let me know how you are getting on.
Thank you so much for this! I have had bad anxiety all night that has left me feeling paralyzed. Every time I have tried to sleep tonight I can’t because I have felt this skin burning all over. I was scared it was something wrong but i’m glad to know it’s just anxiety and it has helped me calm down
I'm yet another person that experienced this. Without getting into too much of a ramble, I had a health scare early last year. I had absolutely no symptoms of anything, and even the hematologist my PCP referred me to said I was fine and they weren't going to find anything wrong, but that they'd do a bunch of tests, including a bone marrow biopsy for "my peace of mind." The results of tests were staggered, so I was in a constant state of anxiety waiting for results, and by the time I met with my hematologist who smiled and said everything was good, I'd become a basket case. My first big symptom was a sort of lightheaded dizziness (not vertigo), and then I started having nocturnal burning in my arms that would wake me up. I'd get burning in my legs as well, but it was mostly my arms, and pretty much always at night. I was terrified of going to sleep, so this led to insomnia. I also would get feelings of numbness and burning on my face and sometimes in my feet. I was convinced I had MS (my mom had MS), and went to urgent care multiple times. I had an MRI ordered, and while I waited for that, I was still convinced beyond doubt I had MS. One doctor listened to all my symptoms and said it couldn't be MS because I was having burning in both arms simultaneously. The MRI came out okay. I got into therapy for my health anxiety and went on an anti-anxiety medication for a while, but it's really the therapy that's helped the most (I had anxiety even before this that I masked pretty well). So yeah, lightheaded dizziness, burning in extremities and on my face, insomnia, and even an orb like spark of light that would run down the corner of my eyes were all symptoms of anxiety. It took several months for these to go away, though I still have the orb sometimes. It can all be really scary, and the only way to really get better is to get cleared by your medical providers and then believe that you are okay. I still have some health anxiety and anxiety about other things, but therapy really has been a helpful tool for me to deal with all of it. If you're experiencing this, you're definitely not alone!
Your story sounds exactly like mine. I also had a health scare when my blood test showed elevated levels that could indicate a heart problem. I was admitted into the hospital for 2 nights while they evaluated me and in that time I was a nervous wreck! After being told discharged and told my heart is healthy I started having frequent panic attacks and the burning skin sensation. It went away after some time but then after relationship problems it’s back. I now have insomnia and the burning skin in my arms and hands and my feet/legs go numb while sleeping sometimes. :/
@@RachelRealtyFL I'm so sorry it's back. One thing that can help and that I'm being reintroduced to in therapy is trying to stimulate your vagus nerve, which can help to slow down that constant fight or flight response you get from anxiety. It's stuff like deep belly breathing, cold exposure, meditation, singing, humming, etc. I think you can find lots of info on it online. I felt like doing these things when I was in the worst of it didn't so much help me in the short term, but it was something that helped eventually settle me more. Sleep feels like another thing that's so huge on its own. I learned a lot about that too. A good book is The Sleep Fix by Diane Macedo. One thing I learned is to expose myself to as much light during the day as I can, and not get into bed until I can barely keep my eyes open. Hopefully you can get some sleep soon!
I've been dealing with anxiety for almost 11 months and I'm getting this burning sensation on my forehead and my back. This is freaking me out. Has anyone else expierence this?
I dealt with burning sensations mostly in my arms, hands and basically anywhere from time to time. It is something that anxiety can do and is pretty common 🙏
@@ImprovementPath you're welcome and wait I do have one more question. Did you deal with itchy skin? I get this symptoms it seems to happen to me whenever my heart starts beating fast whenever I do a task like going up stairs but whenever I get calm and relaxed the itching usually goes away.
I’m feeling it right now. Like prickling all over. Ive had a lot of stress the past year and this is the first time I’m experiencing this. After a night’s sleep it’s gone and I can be fine for hours then I’ll feel a little tingle and begin to focus on it and then it comes back. I’m determined to become blasé and unaffected by it so that it is drained of its power. I get it mostly in my legs .
Yup, i also got so good at it that i could almst focus on any body part and make the tingling and numbness appear :) I say it a lot in the videos but a proper exercise routine worked so well for me with this symptom and so many others! Stay strong!
i find when i exercise my feet will tingle more afterwards why do you think this happens? and do you get sensitive painful finger tips i do plus in other places as well it skips around.
Thank you... The feeling of burning, tearing and sensitivity give me more anxiety due to worries but i am grateful for the information from this video because i can now help my body to recover.... ☺️
Thank god I saw this video. I thought I was sick or going crazy. Mine started when this damn pandemic begun & went away for weeks but came back again. I’m sitting here right now feeling my face & thighs burning like I have severe sun burn.
Hi Did you get rid of it ?? I've been having this pretty constantly lately , and it's on my arms hand feet legs and chest It really hurts to wear clothes My fingers feep like the're badly sunburnt
Music Lyrics It comes & goes but it has settled down for the most part. No medicine but I’ve been drinking more water lately & been trying to exercise more. Since I’ve originally posted this it’s been much better.
Music Lyrics it came in waves for me but a while it was constant & then would just come during the night time really bad. I took a leave of absence from work bc it got so bad & was able to get control over it. I hope & pray that you’re anxiety & stress go away...
The burning tingling sensation started for me in September last year. The more I focused on it, the worse it got. Stress made it feel worse. It got so bad that I was feeling an almost constant burning/tingling in my arms from the elbow down and in my legs from the knee down. When the weather started to change in the Fall and colder temperatures came, I started to notice a sensation in the tip of my nose and in my legs. It felt like my nerves were extra sensitive to the cold. I still feel it now, but I have had to embrace it and accept it. I do think it is stress/anxiety related as I went to the doctor and had blood work done to check Vitamin B12 levels and a physical exam by my PCP to rule out things like MS, fibromyalgia, and Reynaud's syndrome. Good news is that it has gotten better with time and my symptoms started to improve in December when I stopped focusing on it so much. It seems that my symptoms still come and go, but they are getting better. Try not to panic or worry (easier said than done), this will add more stress and make the sensations worse. Things that have helped me are to eat a healthy diet, exercise, get enough sleep and try to limit caffeine as it can exacerbate symptoms.
Im experiencing this for the first time im this 5 months of anxiety. When i woke up today in the morning i felt numb and legs kinda loose and start getting burning, hot, tingling sensation on stomach, arms, legs, thighs, back, head and chest i was so scare i thought its my end now i rush to hospital but they can't figure out they said they don't know so i came back home and just search up here and then i got ur video im kimda relax now after watching this video and all the comments thankyou so much❤
Thank you for this video. I think I experienced this same thing two days ago. When my dad and I were riding down the street, our car was hit by a trash truck backing up into us. Thank God everyone was ok, and there was no damage...we were just shaken up by the whole experience, I think me moreso than anyone else. When I got home, and got comfortable, I noticed that the skin on my leg began to feel like it was burning. And the pain hasn't subsided yet. I have tried everything from massage to aloe Vera gel to taking OTC medications. (Aspirin). It NEVER dawned on me that it could have been my nerves and the anxiety that built from being in that accident. I don't believe that I properly dealt with my response to that day. This changes everything for me. Thank you so much!
I’ve been dealing with this for almost a decade, I’m so used to it, embraced it. I’m kind of low key enjoying the sensation, with exception for the anxiety. But man, when I first had this I went to the doctors 4x. Each time he says I’m healthy. I’ve accepted this uncontrollable feeling, hopeful for the day when it no longer comes and I can live a normal life.
I’ve suffered from anxiety as a teen for several years but never had this burning sensation. About 2-3 months ago it started for me. Face, forehead, legs, stomach all feel severely sunburnt. It went away for a few weeks then I started feeling it again. It’s terrible!
Wow! I would have never known. The area around my groin, above and inside my hips and burn tremendously; the leg holes of my underwear rub against my skin and make me extremely uncomfortable. After watching your video, I will speak with my Internal Medicine physician. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledtge.
I have had the same symptoms. I thought it was shingles until it spread everywhere. I am trying a short course of prednisone and I think it is helping. So strange but no deficits. No other symptoms. I’m going to clean up my diet, drink plenty of water and try to sleep more. Pray it works. 🙏
Thank you so much for these videos. I get a strange burning sensation in my forearms, which is relatively new to me, although I’ve struggled with severe anxiety for years. It’s very distressing, along with weird head pressure that comes and goes. I’ve had an MRI of the brain and both the neurologist and my GP said everything is normal. I also have recently developed or noticed many heart palpitations, so now I’m convinced something is wrong with my heart...which isn’t new to me. This is a life long struggle for me. Thank you.
Hello how are you now I get forearm burning sensation man I'm so worried it's been like 1 years ago ,and it was good like from past months and since yesterday I felt it again damn
I believe God will not let you have it for the rest of your life, I actually have those symptoms. But everyday although it's a struggle, I keep reminding myself that God will win this for me and one day this will be gone. I'm just 23 years old. Let me share you this Bible verse... from the very words of Jesus. Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
Ok, so you could be having a thyroid problem, or palpitations related to anxiety, please ask your doctor about blood test, TGA,TPO, TSH, T3, T4 basically a complete thyroid test. You need to make sure your thyroid is working perfectly fine. All the best
I got sick and I started worrying a lot and google did not help next day I had burning and tingeling on my hand and feet I searched that up on google and it scared me more i was scared on going to sleep because i thought I’d never wake up its still happening while I’m writing this comment this video explains a lot thank you
I did strenuous lifting at work 8 weeks ago. Noticed a twitch in my thigh day after. Went into google and seen als and ms biggest mistake. Went into a severe rabit hole of anxiety. Sat on couch for weeks constantly worrying and stressing about my twitches. Now I have twitches everywhere mostly in my thighs and calfs, and burning in thighs, shoulder etc. The mind is crazy powerful
Cast it brother to God, he is the only way to ge out of it. It'll be months of struggling and fighting against it but one thing is for sure, victory is at hand of those who trust in the victor. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. - Matthew 11:28
Do you take magnesium? I have done my research and I started to take it, not sure yet if it works, the other thing to eliminate the burning sensation was ice baths, I am scared but desperate to stop this symptom.
I have experienced this sensation with my anxiety attacks for 25 years. This is the first time it was explained properly to me. I had health care professionals tell me they never heard of the burning skin! Now I know others experience this as well. It's no fun, but at least it is not harmful.
Thanks man. I thought I had MS, I had all symptoms. But my doctor refused to scan me. I was furious!!! How could he say no? But then I decided to trust him, after all he's a doctor... I still have some symptoms but it's A LOT less now that I've calmed down a lot.
I am glad that the video helped. I too worried about MS a lot! Anxiety can definitely create all these scary symptoms but remember that these will go away once youve managed your underlying stress levels!
@@eme444 wow 2 years later. I still do not as bad . Life has gotten better I've noticed I only have it happen when I'm in a bad situation or anything that causes me to have anxiety
I think I've just entered this realm. The feeling is weird, warm/hot sensation that jumps around to different parts of my body. The sensation will be one spot, 10 minutes later move to my forearms. 10 minutes move somewhere else, neck/shoulders/face. Feels like a mild sunburn. I have been somewhat stressed and dealing with some anxiety. Nothing crazy though. This is just quite annoying and leads to more stress and anxiety.
Thank you. So much. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. This has been killing me for the better part of ten months. It's so annoying. My skin on my belly area is the most affected. But my upper arms and thighs get it sometimes too. I've noticed that it goes away almost completely when I am deeply relaxed or not thinking about anything in particular. I just have to keep getting better everyday. Thank you. ❤
Thank you sooo much for the video, i've been very stressed lately, couldn't sleep nor eat, I just sit and stare into space and I honestly thought I was losing it, then yesterday I started feeling life something was crawling on my face, arms and legs, it has happened before and I thought it was bed bugs, we had to change the whole bedding last night, i would be touching my face and stand in front of the mirror looking for the things that are crawling on my skin. Today it got worse my arms and the back of my hands were burning, i went and took a bath, opened the windows, but still it didn't go away. My skin felt really dry and like I was burning, I then went on google to find out whats really going on and thats when I learnt that its actually anxiety. There's music for such things and it works, the burning sensation and itchiness has gone down, and don't forget to take deep breaths
I have it when stressed and when I exercise. Even out of the blue. My veins show wherever the itch is. Even on my back. I never used to have this. I hate this.
I would agree with that. If you are at the very beginning of recovery it is important to cut out as many stressors as possible. Coffe is basically stress in a cup
I highly agree with this one, Because there's a period of time that my anxiety episodes are really manageable then there's this 2 weeks of unbearable on/off attacks ... my sudden intake of coffee is at most 90% triggering factor.
Mine ended up being low b12 , stress and anxiety. All three can make life unbearable. My body not only had burning skin sensations, I felt charged up so much couldn’t sleep. Was also breathlessness. I had stop taking iron and b12. With in minutes of b12 melts (2) at the time, I started feeling relief. Slept three hours straight.
Thank you for your video. I was having problem of prickling the body with needles because of extreme fear. I want to suggest that if anyone got this problem, don't disturb that sensation. Let it vanish itself.
Been dealing with this for about 3 months on and off. Mine appears to be burning at 1st then after seems like a cold sensation that lingers in the area. It's been so intense, I've dealt with various kinds of anxiety over the years. This one is new to me however so it's been scary. Sending blessings out to everyone dealing with this. Anxiety is such a crazy thing to deal with.
Have it in the Chest area, left side, right side and centre. Also if my clothes touched my nipples it tingles so much. Constantly have to move my clothes around, it usually lasts from an hour or so to days/weeks. Have anxiety disorder with bipolar. Seems to happen when a traumatic event happens or when I go down the anxiety rabbit hole.
It was my greatest opportunity using Doctor Ani John herbal medicine for Shingles virus which gave me a lot of concern, today I have been cured of Shingles virus since since November 25. 2020 I appreciate Dr.Ani John for his help
I have this exactly right now. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. I’ve never experienced this but I just flew away on vacation for the first time by myself and I think I’ve just been really anxious. I leave again today my flights in a few hours and my chest feels awful
Same! It started with my scalp. I can't even remember when it first occurred, but it occasionally went to my arms. Recently, like 3 days ago, when I went to eat with some of my former classmates (I don't usually see them and I'm not an extrovert) everything was going well until the focus of the conversation shifted on me: I had no problem answering and telling them about how things are going for me now honestly, just hoping I would be understood thru the loud noise of folks around us. Then all of a sudden my scalp and my whole body was burning/itchy as if I was bitten by million ants all over. I tried to manage it by tensing my foot and wriggling it around like a snake under the table(the blind spot) a soon after the feeling went.
I just found this video I am constantly explaining how it feels like my 🧠 brain is itching... the amount of times I've wanted to Crack my skull 💀for relief... no one ever believes me 😥 😞
Had the burning sensation in my back for years, now the burning sensation disappeared from my back and now my thigh and legs,it's the most horrible feeling ever.
Do you meditate at all ? Doing that every day over time really helps anxiety and stress levels come down. But it does take time. It may not “feel” like it’s doing anything, but it is I can assure you that. 🙂
I took magnesium supplements. And it has helped a ton. It is a pretty hard vitamin to get. And I was eating unhealthy for the entire pandemic which caused me to become defficenct.
I know this is old but here's my experience, my problem with all of these symptoms started after a hand wrestling game with a friend, I got rupture in my right hand, and do I visited the doctor and few months everything got normal, then I started to feel these symptoms in my right hand and thought that maybe the injury isn't fixed, then this started to get bigger, I felt these symptoms in all my right side, for the past three years, visited so many doctors all of them tells me I'm alright, and I was in an inner struggle, stopped exercising and my life turned into a nightmare... Last year I decided to change, started exercising eating healthy, and the most important thing I did was waking up every day before sun, praying (subh prayer) reading kuran and duaa, and reading more books. A year have passed and everything has changed, the way I think and my body and mind feels... But I still counter some of these symptoms somedays, a month before, I didn't suffer from this for like a month and half, because I wasn't where I am now, I was in one of hardest military training camp, all this period, never seen any lights, any screens phones internet... None of that. That's why I forgot about this pain, it's all a psychological thing in the mind.. Sorry for my bad English, this is my experience, hope it help you
I love you. Thanks. I thought it was because I draw a lot and had carpal tunnel or something. But now I realize that that's just muscle pain. But the stinging sensation only comes when I'm anxious about something.
Yup, for me it started out as burning only when i felt extremely stressed. But then it transitjoned to burning sensations throughout the day. I guess i got so worried about the symptom that i was basically just waiting for it. Anxiety does some weird stuff with us... Take care brother!
This is also something I get a lot of, docs look at me strange when I tell them...This is my fourth episode the first 2 were eliminated by an SSRI But these last two have dragged on, with this one approaching 2 years now yukkkk Thanks for your great videos they help Me validate symptoms and need to cut my ties with Dr Google!!
@@johnmulpeter Yes! Never never ever google your symptoms again :) I used to do that all the time and i ended up with a lot more symptoms lol. I started getting better when i shifted my focus from searching what was wrong with me to trusting the docs and working on my anxiety only. Its easier said than done but you can get there! All the best to you
@@ImprovementPath I wish I would have trusted the first doctor that saw me and said you have anxiety but I didn't take him seriously because he didn't understand my issue and he smirked when he was talking about my anxiety
this became my biggest health issue back in 2019 when i stopped taking my epilepsy meds. the pain went away in the summer of 2020 but it returned when summer ended. in mid to late 2020 it evolved from burning and prickly skin sensation to producing heat rashes due to stress, anxiety, and shifts in the weather. and before 2020 ended i have this episode when my entire body is completely covered in dark, purplish-red rashes from neck to feet. i look horrid. literally. and in 2021 summer the condition went dormant. and now since summer is over where i am living my condition reverted to just simply generating burning and prickly sensation on the skin.
Hello everyone. My name's Matteo and I'm an Italian guy who's unfortunately going through all the symptoms that were described in these videos. This one especially is the worst. I think i can also tell the full story in a few words. It all started when i started writing the thesis for my graduation. I had no idea what was going on. It started with random and sporadic burning sensation all over my skin and in very specific points (such as my wrist, the side of some fingers, even on the skin of my neck and yes even on my face and my bottom as well). As if this wasn't enough, mascular heaviness and pain appeared too. What's more strange is this: The burning sensations and the muscular pain happens a lot during the day but it usually stays on for not even five seconds; it doesn't linger. I tried calming myself down but then two more symptoms appeared. These new symptoms are random tremors, my tongue or the inside of my mouth feeling on fire, and (in my opinion) the most absurd and scariest one. Inability to sneeze. Yes I'm not kidding. I'm super hypochondriac therefore it's no big surprise i googled everything up. My god,the things i found, especially about not sneezing. I however thought that i couldn't get more symptoms but i was wrong. And cherry on this painful cake, now i have migraines and very odd sensations of needles piercing the top of my head. Just like most of us, I used Google to research about veeeery bad stuff,in an attempt to calm myself down but i did the exact opposite. Boom! Brain Tumor! Impeding Stroke! MS! Nose Tumor! Fibromyalgia! Burning Mouth Syndrome! Neuropathy! Do i need to go on? Also needless to say that I've fallen into a very heavy depressed state because of all of this, since my life has been this hell hole since January. Now to make sure i don't have anything i suspect because of all those google researches i booked a neurological visits, but somehow i already know I'm not going to be found anything too serious, since i also took blood test and much more which show I'm fine and have no risk of tumors or inflammation, whatsoever. What a nightmare... The only way I have to cope with this now is walking. I love walking and thankfully i can still walk a lot without getting tired, despite my symptoms. And yet it's only partly helping with my depression. If the neurological visit goes according to plan, I'm consulting a psychiatrist immediately. Moreover,i guess i will come back to an old friend who's always been waiting for me,even after 7 whole years of me neglecting Him. I feel like (again, hopefully the neurological visit goes well) i need to have a path of daily exercises to take ahold of my anxiety and take my life back again. I can imagine it being the hardest thing i did in my life but living with these symptoms for four months is even worse. It really is. I really need help in this and i feel like what I'm thinking might help me out a lot. This is my current situation and my experience. I really thank you for this video because it summed up perfectly how I'm doing. This is the most hurtful enemy I've ever fought in my life but as you too showed as well, with time and the right mindset and exercises this beast can be tamed. And i hope I manage to tame it too, from now on. Heartfelt thanks for your video. It really makes me feel less alone in this battle. Love and hope from Italy 🇮🇹
Hey there, I hope you're doing well. I can relate to what you're going through. I've noticed that my mindset can sometimes trigger physical responses, which can be unsettling. It's like a cycle: I worry about a specific illness, then find out I don't have it and feel relieved. But then, I might do something else that triggers another physical response, which makes me worry again. For example, my ear hurts, and I start questioning if everything is really okay. The burning sensation has gotten worse, rubbing makes dark spots appear, but with exams coming up, I'm putting off seeing a doctor. During a recent test, I even felt like my eyes were failing me, which was pretty scary. It's tough dealing with hypochondria and constantly feeling like you're not in control. I'm always reading up on diseases, like cryptic pregnancy, where a woman can be pregnant without it being detected by doctors for a long time. The human body is truly fascinating, but it can also be quite overwhelming.
This is by far my worse symptom. It feels like my body is wrapped in barb wire. Even the wind blowing against my clothing feels like it’s clawing at the side of my ribs. I am constantly re adjusting my clothing. I feel so uncomfortable all the time. It is only on my left side and it shows up on my ribs, hip, and shoulder blade. What I can never wrap my head round is why it comes when I’m not anxious. But that being said I am a extremely stress anxious person
Thank u so much for this. I have been living with this symptom since 8.2022. It came back after remission on 2.1.23 and has not left me since. I did MRI blood tests ... everything came up normal. I get numbing of legs and hands also but twice a week or so. The burning has become my new normal. I also suffer from Tinnitus for 25 years so not sure what it is worse any more :( lesson here learn to relax or learn to suffer - if not.
I had this itching and pricking sensation on arms after I take a hot shower. It didn't go away than I expected it to. So I googled what it might be, oh lord I found some horrible things I shouldn't see. It stucks in my head and then the burning sensation gradually took over my arms and legs. It feels like when you smear a chili pepper on your skin. Then I started panicking and it would wake me up in the middle of the nights. It's not only burning sensation, sometimes it's itchy, and needles prickling sensation. And I started to look on my skin and found some scars or dark spots that I thought I never saw before, it makes me think I might have skin cancer lol. And then I would feel soreness on those spots like I never feel before. I went to doctor and he said I would be okay, still I doubt about it. It's been almost a month I've been experiencing this anxiety.
I have this burning sensation in my legs. I don't know how it goes for you, but its whenever I do a longer walks, or if there is a big change in temperature, for an example taking a walk outside and getting in a warm interior of the car, you can feel that strange almost holding tour breath sensation overwhelming you and then it just flows through your legs, causing that horrible burning pain, it feels like your legs are on fire for a minute or so, also followed with stabbing, itchy, crawling sensation. It tends to get away in couple of minutes in calm position, or faster if jumping out of the car into colder outside temperature. Its somehow feels like I am not tolerating temperature anymore and also a lack of sweating.. But when I do sweat, it seems I no longer experience those burning sensation, but when I take a shower and my skins gets dry, then repeating walking procedure most likely to cause burning sensation once again. It all started in 2016 when I lost my dear friend, I got dizziness at first, later after 1 year or so, started that crawling, tingling sensation in legs and then after the year in early 2018 I started feeling burning sensation. I got MRI, maybe triple times (head, spinal, neck check) - nothing to worry about, no indications of MS, even though my mom and cousin have it. Blood tests are basically good, nothing to worry about. Lately I got Vitamin B12 check - its in a norm. Any similar experience? Any suggestion what I should do? It drives me nuts. I've been in this rather cursed state for bloody 4 years and it seems its getting worse, despite of basically good health check results, which even drives me crazy even more. Maybe its really an anxiety? Thank You.
exactly same boats bud. have started t see huge links between emotions and increase in these sensations myself. we have to calm ourselves do nd not panic which id do tough to do i know
I started feeling pins and needles one day and the next a bit of burning in some random places in my body. NO visible rash nor irritation at ALL. Now it has been a week that I feel burning sensation in my hands, arms, feet and sometimes back. It feels like it comes and goes during the day bit in the morning when I wake up I feel fine. Googling symptoms was BAD. I have been under a lot of stress and anxiety lately due to the current situation. I hope is all stress related.
I have the same symptoms. Googling has got me to believe I have MS. I have had this burning sensation for 6 days now all over my body :/ I’m just praying it goes away and I can go to my doctor once the situation lightens up. Do u have any joint ache or pain?
@@lolalulu42 yeah....googling does not help. Dont do it. It will just make things worse. My symptoms are getting better almost all the burning sensation has gone away. I am changing my diet. Burning intensely since June, like deep sunburn. Inside and outside stomach, back, inside arms, chest, sometimes legs. Day and night, still haven’t found a cure for this.
This is exactly what I'm experiencing since 5th of November this year so almost 2 months now. It started 5 days after I went for the first time for an EMS training session which basically means doing 30 min of physical activity while wearing a sort of costume that gives a muscle electrostimulation. I think this activated these sensations, and of course along with anxiety (from 2020 until now I've been constantly under a lot of stress). I mostly feel it in my cheeks but it has different intensities (I've noticed that whenever I drink alcohol or go outside in the cold for a longer time and get back to warmth it's getting worse but that's normal because of vasodilatation). When the intensity it's amplified I feel it in the whole upper body and it's almost like a burning sensation. When it's normal (like right now for example) I only feel it in my cheeks and it's like a stingy, irritated feeling. Problem is that I'm really scared that's it's a bigger health issue, I went to a dermatologist 2 times, I went to a skin biopsy to see if it's Demodex then to the allergist who said that is an irritant dermatitis. Tomorrow I'm going to go do some blood work (again), because first I went to do blood work to test the liver and other parasites or internal bacteria but everything came clean. I want to go to neurologist next because I have days when I feel another type of sensation in my thighs (I found it's called allodynia) basically it feels like it's a problem with the nerve endings (it hurts whenever i touch that spot, or from cold stimulus) and also i feel tingling sensation in my palms for a few days now(like the tingling sensation you get when you're numb) so I want to eliminate the neurological part. I feel like there are so many diseases out there, with such vast symptoms that I have to eliminate everything under the sun until the conclusion can be simple anxiety although I would be happy to know that's all it is and focus on my mental health. Thank you for this video!
Do you get the feeling that your whole body is burning? Especially when you rub your skin against something cold? I literally be thinking that it could be something more serious, though it could just be anxiety it’s crazy. How anxiety to make you feel.
@@ashanakhan5214 hi! Well… all the symptoms disappeared gradually. From everyday symptoms I started to only feel it once every couple of days, then once a week and so on until it disappeared completely. Sometimes when something scares me I feel something in the apples of my cheeks, a tingly sensation but goes away quickly. After my bloodwork came clean the last time and my allergy doctor said that probably the EMS session activated this, it started to fade away. I think that once I completely realised that it can be all in my head(and the doctor reassured me that the nerve endings will be fine after a period of time) my brain started to heal my body. I don’t know for sure what exactly caused this but I’m never going to EMS sessions ever again, that’s for sure.
I had the symptoms for almost 18 months. Burned skin sansation, tingling hands and feets, tunnitus (ringing in the ears). My doctor told me it is because of stress and anxiety. I did a blood test and I have vitamin d deficiency (18). Since I take daily vitamine d3 5000iu with vitamine k2 50 micrograms my symptoms almost completely desappeared. I started this treatment 2 weeks ago it really helped a lot. Also I try to eat healthy, no coffee, no soda, less sugar. A lot of vegetables and fruit.
@@andrijana110 its been now 7 weeks that I take vitamin D. All my symptoms are almost completely dissapeared. If only I knew from the beginning but no doctor could help me. I think this is what has been wrong with me for 8+ years. It’s an on and off thing for me and at first I had no idea what it was and I only googled my symptoms once and I got POT syndrome as what I thought was wrong with a me, so my mom got me to multiple types of doctors and all of them kept saying “I think this is a cardiovascular problem” and they’d send me to a cardiovascular doctor and then he would test me and he would say no I think it’s a whatever problem... and I just kept getting tossed around like a hot potato until I was tired of going to see doctors and hearing about it. I got to the point where it bothered me so much and I was so embarrassed with the red spots that I started to embrace it. my problem wasnt anxiety. it was straight up hot weather. taking a shower was more helpful than watching this
I’ve dealt with this issue for over a year.

@@Aurelius4114 all that U have too pins and needle shooting pain stinging. Hey what do u use and how long u had it for the burning too
@@rosesandthorns1959 the aching, pins and needles and tintius started about 4 years ago.
I was scared it was something wrong but i’m glad to know it’s just anxiety and it has helped me calm down
How are you now ?

Yup, i also got so good at it that i could almst focus on any body part and make the tingling and numbness appear :)
I say it a lot in the videos but a proper exercise routine worked so well for me with this symptom and so many others! Stay strong!

Same for me bro ever since this pandemic it’s been the worst experience and I’m only 16
The burning tingling sensation started for me in September last year.

I am glad this video helped. Yes being stressed out and tensed for prolonged periods of time can create the weirdest symptoms

My head burns on the inside and I am dealing with stress and anxiety so I'm not alone. I was freaking out.

Stessa cosa anche io. 5 mesi di vertigini, 3 mesi mal.di testa. Ora spariti quei sintomi, ho un bruciore al viso lancinante..non so più cosa pensare

Mine comes and goes
Did you finally cured? Or found anything that helps?
@@eme444 it went away on its own fortunately.
Thank You.

Anyone found a cure with meds like Zoloft?
Thank you for this video!
also it just occurred to me that I stopped taking my thyroid medication 2 months ago(Euthyrox) and that could've triggered this as well.
Do you get the feeling that your whole body is burning? Especially when you rub your skin against something cold? I literally be thinking that it could be something more serious, though it could just be anxiety it’s crazy. How anxiety to make you feel.
@KennTv how r u now is that the only symptoms u get
@@ashanakhan5214 hi!

I also have the same symptoms as you and also have a vitamin d deficiency do you think this could be because of vitamin d ? Thanks

I got to the point where it bothered me so much and I was so embarrassed with the red spots that I started to embrace it. I used to get called takki legs in middle school and that’s when I was over being sad about it. I now consider myself a mooshroom haha. And like 3 days ago i started to feel this burning sensation on the right side of my face then i began to feel burning on my scalp, and then finger, arms, insidenof my hand is burning a lot sometimes. Even my tongue burns a bit sometimes,my neck and chest. And my feet burn too. Whenever i sleep these symptoms go away but when i wake up and start to worry they all come back again. My palm gets numb sometimes. Mostly my right side. And whenever i don't think of it like move around and go for a walk listen to music these symptoms disappear. But when i come back home and start to worry about my symptoms they come back again
