Taking the toilets to the dump reminded me of the time the local Police Station got burgled. All the toilets were stolen. When interviewed by the local press and asked if there were any leads the Police Chief said " At the moment we have nothing to go on."

in my country all water pipes are 15mm or 22mm copper pipes that you join with solder, and its really easy and never leaks and all you need is a pipe cutter, a roll of solder, a tub of flux and a hand held butane torch, and a lot of the taps and stuff just "screw on" with compression fittings and its so easy even a girl (me) can plumb a whole house with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room and a scullery in 2 days, on their own, with zero leaks.

Long term there is a big difference in renovating a property versus renovating a boat.
Regardless of how much you repair or renovate the boat, it goes down in value over time
Whereas with real estate , with renovations and with the passage of time the price goes way up!
    Smart move Sam!

Hey Sam for PVC you need to use acid cleaner on the end and the piece you are going into before you glue. Maybe you used it, I just did not see the second can. You put it on right before gluing, dont let the pieces sit and call them "prepared". I am a maintenance guy and deal with PVC, copper, pex, galvanized, brass...pex is great it goes together so easy and doesn't get super brittle like PVC does. Our old PVC pipes i take off I can drop a few feet and have them shatter like glass.
