      that's actually an ad lib line referencing another movie both guys were in...Blue Jasmine...where Stuhlbarg was a pervert of a dentist who crept around trying to knock out women with ether. When Rosetti says the line, Rothstein stays in character but smiles a little.

    Lucky and Meyer were very unique in the world of gangsters. Mobsters stabbed each other in the back all the time. Lucky and Meyer were true friends and looked out for each other.

      And people that study the Italian mob back in that day and the stuff that I read about it the way he played Luciano was pretty much close to the vest.

      ExtraRare The ending was rushed. I don’t think the network gave the show runners enough time to fully complete Nucky’s story arc. Even with time a jump how could Tommy Darmody be that old when he was under 10 years old in prior seasons.

      savage642 Frank never got his hands dirty. Benny Siegel, Vito Genoese, Albert Anastasia and Joe Adonis killed Masseria in real life. Siegel and a few of his guys killed Maranzano for Lucky. I think the character you mentioned maybe a combination of a few characters

    This show is more accurate to history than I originally thought, before I read more on the period myself. Obviously Nucky is highly fictionalized but the references to Bill Lovett, Pegleg Lonergan, Brooklyn, Frank Uale's operations etc are all accurate little references. The only error among all this is that Rothstein got out of bootlegging very early but it's a pretty minor detail considering it fits the script, much like Nucky's dramatization and the fictional Rosetti

    this show has like the best cast ever to play every single roll this is the real masterpiece of all the crime drama tv series of this century even better than Breaking bad , The Wire , Sons Of Anarchy , & Power!!!!!!

    Notice how lucky is a very strong personality very into his work , yet Meyer was able to ease that aggression and help lucky see a bigger light and picture not to mention Meyer was a great speaker , hard to hurt the guy when he knows his words and his stuff

      I don't really understand how somebody can go trough a pack or two packs of cigarettes a day. I'm fine with one bowl of pipe tobacco once a few days.

      @DeltroxTv Tbh, it's part luck, part genetics/preference. The reason why I started smoking pipe is that it's genuinly only form of smoking I can enjoy(it's smoked like cigars).
      I do not know if "ordinary" ciggies have something that disagrees with me: paper, glue, tar? I just felt sick everytime I tried. Pipe-tobacco is somewhat less processed but has more nicotine, so I can get that relaxing feeling without nausea.
