      Thank you for watching! I'm very glad you found it informative. Since this video TM has released the T-GT Ii, the T248 and the T148. They also released the T3PM pedals.
      The T3PM fit in between the old T3PA pedals (the m means magnetic [hall effect sensors] where the T3PA were analog [potentiometers]).
      The T148 and T248 are probably in-between the T150 and T300.
      The T-GT Ii is an iteration on the older T-GT.
      Soon Thrustmaster will announce their PC only Direct Drive wheel.
      Unfortunately I haven't been able to test any of the newer gear. Logitech and Fanatec have also released new products.
      I hope you find a good option and really enjoy your Sim Racing journey!

    Nice video, was curious what the T GT is like and what it's deal is compared to TS-PC/ TS-XW.
    I see they now have T GT II, but I assume that's just more of the same, with some light improvements

    • @BallisticTech
      @BallisticTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that's accurate in terms of the T-GT II. It's in iteration on the previous version that looks to add some quality to the force feedback. TM say it moves it a bit closer to some of the detail that Direct Drive wheels can deliver.
      Just like with the T-GT certain features like the transducer only seem to work for Gran Turismo Sport (possibly GT7 later)

    Great video!! I have a T300 Ferrari GTE Wheel and I am considering buying the t-lcm pedals. I assume they are compatible, right? I always see that the pedals are compatible with T300 rs but my specific wheel version is not mentioned (probably because it is not needed, since there are not significant differencies between them, to the best of my knowledge).

    • @BallisticTech
      @BallisticTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Thanks for watching! TL;DR Yes the T-LCMs should be compatible with your wheel base.
      The T300 servo base that I show here is the same "wheel base" that's in every different T300 bundle.
      T300 RS, T300 RS GT, T300 Ferrari GTE, etc... The major differences between them are the Wheel Rim that comes on them stock, and the pedals.
      If you're on console you can plug the T-LCMs into any T300 wheel base via the TRJ12 connector (looks like an ethernet/phone cable). If you're on PC you can plug the T-LCM pedals directly into the PC.

    Great video. Ive been a Thrustmaster fan and had my T150 Pro for years and works great. However, its time for an upgrade and I would like to stay with Thrustmaster. The price points are one reason plus the reliability I am use to. However, its near impossible to find anything in stock at the moment. I'm debating on the T300 or if I should just make the jump to an XW or PC base. I really hope they start making bundles with the TCLM pedals.

      I'm no expert in that area. I haven't specifically seen a lot about it. I recall seeing Max Papis made an adaptive steering wheel for someone that could be used in sim racing. Sim Racing Garage also reviewed a wheel rim that had special adaptive controls.
      There's a group called Able Gamers I've donated too that help find ways to adapt controllers for people specific needs.
      I think the most popular thing I've seen is using a wheel with 2 clutch paddles as gas and brake mapped in the game sim.

I've read that the G920 has a great build quality and just overall a good starter wheel but I've also read it doesn't have any drivers and has bad connectivity on pc. I'm going to mainly be playing more arcade games like Forza Horizon 5 but once I get more familiar with the wheel I might switch over to something like Assetto Corsa. What do you think?

    i have one basic question that i really haven't seen yet answered , coming from fanatec where the Wheel would dictate the compatibility . If you have a base that's PC and Xbox compatible , and you buy separately a Playstation compatible steering wheel , does the whole set-up become compatible with the playstation ? because im trying to find a local deal and we only have TMX Pro bases around here , and i plan on future to mount it on a playstation as well for grand turismo

    I really don't understand Thrustmaster product politics. If I want PS and PC compatibility, then I need to get the T300 series but unfortunately there is no bundle with a Leather wheel (I don't like the Alcantara design/layout). So even if I only focus on PC, the TX Leather bundle has worse pedals. Like every bundle has some downside and of course I could buy T300 base + TX Leather wheel + T3PA-GT pedals but this would be way more expensive than in a bundle.
    I wouldn't mind paying like $50 more and having the T300RS GT bundle but with a nice Leather wheel and fairly sure I'm not the only one who wants exactly this combination. Especially now with PSVR 2 there is even more of a reason to get a PS5 compatible wheel set.
    If Logitech would release a belt driven G29 for let's say $100 more it would be the perfect bundle as software/drivers also seem a bit better on Logitech side. Logitech also doesn't change/downgrade the other parts depending on which version you buy. Xbox or PS only difference is button layout but not an entirely different wheel (design, form factor, rubber vs leather, ...) and also not different pedals.
    Common Thrustmaster, best would have been three different bundles:
    - RS with 2 pedals (cheap entry option)
    - RS GT
    - RS GT Leather Edition
    Both GT bundles should have T3PA-GT pedals. Only difference being the button layout of the wheels depending on PS or Xbox compatibility and rubber vs leather material, that's it.
