- I purchased a used 07-08 G35 automatic sedan differential with a limited-slip that I am going to swap into my manual G35 coupe (3.538). There is a lot of work involved in this swap like removing all the flanges and modifying the larger input shaft on the automatic differential. Part 2 will be posted soon, featuring the installation of the new differential, 0-60 time difference, and more. People talking about noticing it’s not LSD when he takes off the diff cover…you can’t tell when he moves the stub axles in the very beginning. They’re not spinning the same way.
A super worn or leaking vlsd will do the same thing.
A hammer and socket easily knocks out the front bushings, no need to burn em.

Defiantly a great upgrade. I just installed a single piece driveshaft and it really tied all my drivetrain mods together.

Hi , i have a question ? I'm using this exact differential as a gear box on my conveyor belt system in the making .
With the cover open and looking at it . Which side is the strongest side if you had to pick a side to work with ? I only need one side of the shaft to work with . Which side would be the strongest point ? ....... Left or right side ? Thanks
Based on the design of the diff both sides should be equally strong, but I'm not for certain.
what year is the diff? i believe 06 G35 had the VLSD so it may not necessarily matter

I found an 07 G35 at rwd 3.69 open diff for really cheap, will it swap directly on my 07 350z at with OEM 3.31 lsd?
Yep, it should fit.
Did you ever swap the gears? If so how was it thinking of the same thing on my A/T

You're actually the first person to noticed. It's not a LSD, I misunderstood the concept of what a LSD actually meant before I made the video.
