    I've got a similar build, bolt ons, tune, poly bushings, diff, lightweight flywheel etc. Don't have the drive shaft, but did have that jerking motion on slower clutch released. Suspected the drive shaft, had no way to confirm, was gonna put a gopro under the car to find out while driving. This video helped diagnosis for me. Btw, Ive been running a set of nitto drag radials, 285 35 18, and my car finally hooks up good. Thanks.

    Lucky!! Wish there was a 1 piece option available for the G Sedans.. I have an 05 G35 Sedan 6spd, and supposedly my only option is a custom piece due to the coupes being a different length. Driveshaft shop said they would give me a quote, but I haven't gotten the length of mine yet.

    • @rosstrittler
      @rosstrittler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It definitely makes a difference. I'd say go for it as long as it isn't too expensive.

    great video. I have the 3.69 gears in my rev up sedan. just by chance, is your speedometer off by alot? I'm running 225 40 18 tires too so they are pretty small but I'm off my 8 mphs. I'm wondering if it's the small tires making it read like that?

    • @rosstrittler
      @rosstrittler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tracked my speedometer with a GPS speedometer at 80mph and it was within 2mph of each other. I'm running 255/40/19 in the rear which is quite a bit larger than stock so it makes up for the higher gears. A bigger diameter tire will definitely fix your issue.

    whats up man clean g, i’m still on the stock rays as well i want my fitment to look just like yours, what size spacers do you have ?

      @rosstrittler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks man, there 20mm in rear and 15mm in front, I'm also on Swift lowering springs.

  • @stopher1971
    @stopher1971 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hey I know this is off the subject but I was wondering are those 19 inch rims and what size tires do you have I have 18 x 8 all the way around but I have a chance to get 19‘s for cheap in, Just want to see if it’ll be worth it they want 300 for the set of four

    • @rosstrittler
      @rosstrittler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There polished 19's with 255/40 in rear and 245/40 in front and 15mm spacer in front and 20mm in rear. It's a pretty meaty setup but it doesn't rub at all on swift lowering springs.

      Never timed it because the rain started to pick up and I was just slipping. Although, it feels a lot more responsive from a standstill and I would bet it would have made a clear improvement on the time if I had timed it, no doubt.
