Thank you guys for tuning in! I do a lot of side work on Infiniti and nissan vehicles and this is a problem that is becoming more and more common. change your automatic transmission fluid and pray this doesn't happen to you as well
Hey Eric, I could use your help man. So I'm driving my 2005 g35 and first it hesitated going into 2 or 3 gear. Figured I was probably super low on trans fluid. I stop at store, put a quart in and then when. I started driving again. It went from 1st to 2nd gear and then going into 3rd it felt like It wouldn't catch. Then all of the sudden nothing.. No more going forward. Its rev'ing but no actual moving forward. Then I turn off the car. Turn it back on and it will start accelerating again. But again, 1st to 2nd It changes and going into 3rd just stops moving forward and only revs. I tried it a few times and same thing each time. I can get moving until it's about to hit 3rd gear and then just stops moving forward. Do you think I'm having same issue with valve body or could it be torque converter? I have no clue. If you could give me any help man, I'd really appreciate it
@@deadmoon7959 wow my car started doing that almost a year ago and I was at the mercy of these mechanics who claimed to change my trans but I believe they changed a part cause the trans looks the same as before but they told me like tens times car was ready when they did not even start on it. So the fix as far as they told me was to put another trans In
@@aloiba100 Yeah, Ive been tripping out, cause I can't afford to put a new trans in right now. So I was praying for any possibility that even if it was a tranny issue, it would hopefully be something that wasn't SO major critical, that if I attempted to do the repair myself here at the pad.. I wouldn't be able to get it done and fixed, on my own, with just my basic tools here in my garage.
I watched this like 4 times! I love seeing this type of in depth, technical information of the inner workings to our vehicles. It helps me to understand my car when it's talking to me. Hopefully we never have a heated conversation, LOL, but putting this type of info in the brain bank gives confidence for when i need to identify an issue if it arises. Thanks Eric, keep up the great vids!!! 🤙🤙
I just wanted to mention that these engines and transmissions are available by the dozens at importer salvage parts. I'm pretty sure you can get a trans for ~$300.
I’ve done this job multiple times for friends and I just had them get a valve body from a few junk yards near me and it was quick and easy. One thing you have to make sure if you do change your valve body is that you have to check if you have a single or a triple plug trans because they have different valve body plugs.
Interesting, did you ever have any issues with needing to program the valve body? The reason I ask is because there's like 3 different types of valve bodies one of them has the TCM inside the cabin on early style 2003 G35. Somwhere in 2005 they changed again and later changed again in 2006
hey man did you ever see the issue where it boots tou out of manual mode? So you push it into ds, works for like 30s then boots you back into regular D drive, and you can't go back to manual mode until you restart the car. heard of that??
Well done technical!!! Very good job. With mine M35x I just replaced the whole valve body and TCM with a completely rebuilt one. That was the fix......did not have change the tyranny, like one shop was suggesting. Keep up the good work brother!!!💯👍
What were your symptoms? I’m about to take my valve body out and test it b4 the tranny. Mine won’t go into gear and seem like it’s loosing pressure but it was just driving right but happend and it doesn’t grind or knock
@@travisussery258 what code did you get I got code p1757 front brake solinoid only my Manuel mode is shifting horrible like if the trans is out . But I got a used Vavle body on OfferUp for 120 and hopefully it takes the code away. Did you ever get yours fixed?
@@jrserrano9396 yes I did replace my Vavle body and the front brake solinoid code came off. But the horrible shifting was another code that I had because it was the shifter, a circuit was out and it was causing the computer to not shift smooth so I just replaced my shifter, Vavle body and obviously drain and fill with 7 bottles of atf. Car was running better then ever after that and shifting smoother then ever.
Worth mentioning that this fix only applies to later models 05 and up. 03 and early 04 models have the TCM located by the ECU on the passenger side in the cabin.
im guessing electrical power to the transmission via the main relay component. that happen to me... corrosion on connectors prevented the transmission from going into 3rd from second.
Would a bad tranny cause my car to stutter / choke on itself? So mine is an automatic and when i step on it the rpms get stuck at 2k then jump upwards and it runs well. It only happens when its completely warmed up
It shouldn't turn off or feel like it's turning off, in my experience when you have a bad transmission you will just experience a lot of shutter and harsh engagements aside from that the vehicle should idle the same or very close to 1k prm sometimes idle can go up and down since the computer in the transmission also Is used to for idling
Some of the shift solenoids are available separately from the valve body. I've seen them for about $50 each. Worth looking into if you have this problem.
@@RUSOBPK eBay got them, but u have to read the reviews before buying them. I bought the front brake and high and low reverse solenoids on eBay they are good quality hopefully this solves the issue of my g35.
Man i did exactly this, changed all the solenoids and reinstalled the valve body, now the car wont even crank, dash will light up, but doesnt start, i didnt disconnect the battery when doing the work, i forgot, maybe that messed up something, any help?
I've been watching as many of these valve body/TCM/sensor videos and reading up since my '04 G35 coupe ck engine light came on a week ago (Code P1716). I've been having hard shift issues basically when it is cold, so have been going easy when cold. My opinion, the check engine light should have come on long ago. Since I'm no mechanic and do only "light" work on my car (female, but know some females can/will do much more), want to be up on the subject. Thanks for posting this detailed video, even though not my vehicle's code, it is all the same d&$m thing! Two days ago took my car to a mechanic with ck engine light illuminated (P1716 turbine revolution sensor). Got charged for a cleanup of TCM & Harness Connections and for a trans service--went home, car "rested" for a few hours, take off and same ck engine light & Code P1716! Obviously, mechanic could have done more to ensure a fix was absolute before pickup. Not happy about paying for a job that didn't address the problem, and was for not. Thank God for the internet or I'd be totally in the dark!
@@MrYogitron92 No! I believe it needs a rebuilt trans. The TCM is located inside the valve body in my car, as is in this video. I do not believe mechanics will typically do what this mechanic is doing. Plus, the trans is now slipping. Big sign it is going south! Just a matter of time and it will "seize up!!!" 😪😱 Love the car but I'm done!!!
@@deadmoon7959 I thought I just replied to your question but don't see it. If you didn't get it, I traded the car in because I didn't want to hassle with trying to sell it with a transmission issue.

Hi brother. I have code p1734 sometimes after using g37x valve body on q50 2015. It shifts great but once in while it goes limp if at low speed. Do you think I can check solenoids or reuse solenoids from Q50 valve body?
P1716 speed sensor on the trans valve body It doesn’t allow trans to engage in 4/5th Get from junkyard and splice new sensor or replace and reprogram valve body. Titan armada g35 350z There’s an a and b sensor is replace both if your not to sure
I had my transmission rebuilt on 1/12/2022, and after 9K miles it threw P1767 last night. Same symptom - in D, foot off brake and car doesn't move. Give it some gas and it moves. Today it is acting fine, of course. Thankfully it is within warranty from shop, we'll see. I suspect the valve body. The shop is highly recommended for these transmissions as that is ALL they do. They were able to drop the trans, rebuild the trans, reinstalled and tested in 2 days...so I have confidence they know what they are doing. I'll come back with results.
@@elcompask4te835 yes... They replaced the valve body under warranty and found a bad ground strap. Then after a few weeks I found that weird things would happen after going through the carwash. Throw all kinds of codes, dash lights would light up, headlights would come on by themselves. Turns out the drain where the IPDM lives (behind the battery ) was clogged and was filling up with water, thus the IPDM was under water. Took a long time for the mech to find it as I steered him in the wrong direction by mentioning the carwash under spray and the recent transmission work. 6 hours of diagnostic time ugh I don't think the IPDM being under water had anything to do with the symptom, but maybe....
Os this a RE4RO3A? I have a RE4RO3A and ot slips in D only when cold for a few seconds the rest of the day it runs perfect. Also where can i get parts for it? Thanks for the very helpful video
Just started having this issue as well ever since I did a drain and fill with Nissan matic J. my transmission randomly has issues when downshifting at certain times trying to come to a complete stop. Doesn’t do it everytime, just random times. It kinda jerks. Has no issues upshifting to next gears or shifting whatsoever.. only downshifting. Maybe bad solenoids?
@@AuzsG35 yea honestly dude I think it might be the shift solenoid going bad perhaps. Can’t confirm with u on that 100% But I do know that most issues with the G35 cars will be the front brake solenoid circuit cracking and it’s why this happens. Could also be low on fluid which also causes jerking and gears to not work properly(slippage), so make sure to have the correct amount of fluid on the tranny. Bands wearing out, maybe the tcm dying, could be a fvck tons of reasons. I am the 3rd owner of my G coupe. So the previous two owners never had done a transmission fluid change for over 100,000 miles. Car currently has 112,000 now. When I changed the fluid for the 1st time, it was oxidized. More like a amber type color, which needed to be replaced ASAP. I just did another drain and fill for the 2nd time to get rid of the old yucky fluid. So 1st I used matic J, which I don’t recommend cause shit is too expensive for a qt. You’ll be paying 20$ on those. You’re better off using matic S as this has superseded matic J and it’s better. After the 2nd drain and fill, it honestly feels much better and smoother with the gears shifting than before. Downshifting has also improved in my case by a little as well. But most of the time when u start to experience some new issues with new fluid on the tranny, its because u prolly already have transmission issues in the first place but wasn’t aware because the old fluid was doing a good job covering the issue as it has more friction. Once the new fluid comes in it starts to clean shit out which can cause slippage and other issues. Clean fluid will 100% show u the existing problems that u wasn’t aware of. Usually it’s very risky to do a tranny fluid change on high mileage cars that has not really got it serviced before. But I decided to do it anyways and see what happens. Regardless having old, dirty, oxidized fluid will fvck up the tranny anyways cause it won’t disperse heat too well. Number 1 reason on why tranny dies. But if u want too u can do the same as me. Just do another d/f and see if it makes a difference. I’m planning to do another d/f for a 3rd time. But not now. I would never suggest getting a flush if u have never serviced ur tranny tho. Shit can deff mess up or completely kill it. Just do d/f multiple times and I think it should be fine and get better.
@@Carmizo_ yea I bought new motor and trans. Trans went out after 200 miles. it was leaking fluid so I filled it up and it didn’t like that. Fluid level was fine but I guess it doesn’t appreciate new fluid.
@@AuzsG35 yea dude never ever fill a motor or transmission up beyond what the owner manual tells u. If it tells u 5qt for engine oil. Don’t put more or less than that. If it says 12qt for tranny don’t put more than that or less than that. 100% accurate. If u had that leak, u should’ve been on top of it and got it fixed right away cause if u don’t then it’s going to rip a hole in ur pocket which I’m pretty sure it did. Now that u have ur new motor and trans, take care of her and she’ll take care of u. I’d recommend doing a oil change and filter for the motor every 3 months. That’s what I do. And for atf u can try doing it every 25,000-30,000 miles. U just don’t want the fluid to lose it’s red color. Hope the best for u my man.

I have a g37 trans went out took it to Infiniti said it’s was valve body so I got it fixed but it had was hard time accelerating a week later and service engine light is back on do you think it was fixed or I need a new trans?
I would probably first check what codes you are having if it's anything relating to the transmission I will take it back to the dealership. When the valve body is goes out on these vehicles they usually cause some sort of damage to the transmission that's why it's better to just replace both parts
Great video, do you have any experience with the valve body itself? I’m having an issue that I thought was solenoids or the tcm but they seem ok and I’m thinking it may be a stuck valve in the valve body.
Eric. How did you become so knowledgeable on the G and 350? Are you a mechanic or is it just a hobby for these cars? I’m so impressed every time I see another video. I literally check your videos before anyone else, if I am doing a project on my G 👍

It can be reprogrammed. it's not like the cv-ts or newer transmissions were once it programed to a vehicle it cant be written again. Get a used tcm from a salvage yard
Hello, I had the same problem with jx35 of not not responding to going forward or backwards. But the diagnostic code comes with bank 1 do you think it’s actually the transmission problem cause that makes more sense
A scan tool wont pin point the seleniod that is bad but it will give you a code that you can look into, and by looking up common problems, you can usually figure out the issue. For example, a p1757 shows that the seleniod function is erratic but that doesn't mean the sensor is bad. What usually happens is the wire that goes to the seleniod breaks apart and it will throw this code. Repairing the trace will fix the problem
I have a g37 when i come to a complete stop sometimes the trany go in neutral and when i go over speedbumps the same i was told that i habe low fluid i chek it multiple times but the guy tell me to let the car warm up and put e brake and put it in drive then chek it i found that fluid was low

I have a 2006 Infiniti G35x Sedan, automatic, with 180k Miles. A couple of days ago my SERVICE ENGINE SOON light went on and when I turn on the car the A/T light flashes for a few seconds. The codes that came up was P1757 (Front Brakes Solenoid valve Circuit)When I start the car and put it in drive the car starts rolling. Then I apply gas and it drives for about 20 second then I feel a push in the transmission and when I press gas again it feels like something is pulling the car back. When I stop the car and let go of brake, it does not roll, I need to press gas and once rpm reach 2-2.5 the car starts rolling. When I floor it, rpm does not go over 3 and car accelerates very slowly. But once I put it in reverse, it drives fine. Please let me know what you think could be the issue and how much it may cost me (ball park) to get it fixed. Thanks in advance
If you have A P1757 you have a broken connection like the one shown in this video look up how to fix a p1757 your vavle body needs to come down, and the broken connection needs to be soldered
@ERICSDIYGARAGE Nice job 👍🏾 you did still fix his major issue, he was worried about, so that tells you his solenoid(s) were the issue, when it shakes though is it in sport mode or just normal drive? Just curious to know maybe it doesn’t matter which position it is in, but still if in sport mode it’d be harder on the car, so I definitely agree with you on driving the car till the transmission goes out and then a full replacement, but also if he comfortable enough he can just swap it to manual too, I have an auto Infiniti too. I would like to know this though is what years have you noticed this issue with? And is it coupe or sedans mostly?
Yeah I'm glad that it's at least drivable now. And as far as transmission issues 2003 g35 coupe or sedan are good 2004 2005 2006 and 2007 g35 coupes have this issue as they get older the same goes for 350z and other vehicles with this transmission

I have an '04/05 G35x. Apparently they are (early versions) prone to valve body/tcu issues. One reason is due to a failure in the tranny cooling line, where it passes through the lower radiator. Causes coolant and ATF to mix in transmission and engine. Mine had this very issue while doing 120 (km) down highway. Most forums say that if caught right away and no damage done to transmission itself, it can be repaired by replacing valve body/TCU. Although it's not a guarantee. My issue is solely with 5th gear/overdrive, where tranny doesn't want to shift into 5th. As such I'm at 3000rpm while doing 100km (60mph). Hoping the valve body/TCU swap will solve issues. Note I too get a weird vibration when using manual mode, putting tranny into 5th gear. At around 80-85km/hr
Hey bro my names Gustavo if you remember but I came over to your crib recently to pick up a transmission and I’ve had this exact problem and with the solenoids so I installed the tranny I got from you and it also didn’t work I still can’t accelerate at all
Yes I remember. It's possible that your ecu maybe be at fault or a bad connection if you replaced the transmission and it's doing the same thing It's probably not the issue it's hard to say at that point you have to look further into the problem
For some reason my g won’t let me use the manual mode at all I’m not sure why but it could be a short causing it to not go into 1st gear on manual mode can anyone help me solve the issue?
Hey man i have a 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe that I won’t accelerate and wont move when i put it into drive or reverse I already replaced the pedal, throttle body and ecm from another g35 that i own and i still does the same thing but now it will let me rev it do u think is the transmission? It won’t throw no codes
Can you tell me where is the speed sensor is at on the 04 g35 coupe? I have the 5 speed automatic with what i call a manual mode.i dont know what its called.but i can shift thru gears myself or just leave it in drive if that makes any sense lol.
One more question my g has 180k miles and i want to drain and fill my transmission fluid cause its looking dark in color.would it be ok? I have a hard shift when the car is cold start and take off.
Hey man I'm currently throwing a p0744 and a p1744 you think it would be better to try and put the time into fixing them or do you think it's too severe and better off just swapping the transmission
Hey man had a question , i swapped my engine on my 2006 g35 everything went back where it needed to be and ive got good ground, ive also installed a grounding kit and a new battery and a new starter but it just doesn’t wanna turn over or start it just clicks, i separated the transmission from the engine a little to see if thatd help and it did , it cranks now but no start , i pulled out a coil to make sure jts getting spark and its not , have any idea why?
You probably don't have the transmission aligned properly. Make sure that the engine rotates by using a breaker bad if it doesn't than you need to go back and check what's not installed correctly in the transmission
@MrGodmode5 Yes. Manually rotate engine over a few times, after transmission is all bolted up. Make sure to rotate engine clockwise. If tranny isn't lined up, motor will bind up as it rotates. If it rotates freely, you should be good. Also double check your shifter linkage. Make sure it's in same gear on both transmission AND shifter know in cabin. Quite often it gets bumped into a gear other than one you thought it was. (You can push it fully one direction then count " of clicks to determine gear position.) If it wasn't in same gear when connected it will prevent all from engaging (shift lock switch). Hope that all helps :)
Always check rotation after fitment ..can also check the flex plate is aligned with the crank sensor...flex plates in these are weak as all ever...make sure the transmission slides right on or somethings up..saw a guy once wrench his g35x trans down after aligning the dowels and he flattened the flex plate 😂 it looked 100% correct but needed to be re-aligned...shortly afterwards his car developed a grinding sound at startup that sounded like a stuck starter....ended up being the trans pump had taken damage during the squeeze...car drove fine but sounded clapped..ended up buying it for 3k and giving it a billet flex plate, new trans pump and transgo shift kit...
I have an 06' G35 Coupe, with 49k miles. Last Oct at around 48k I had Nissan perform the factory recommended flush/change of the tranny fluid. I've read some pro's and con's of people saying NOOO, and some saying it's fine.....im here to tell you that it made my shifts (TipTronic mode) quicker, and tight. It feels really, really good. And got the report from the spent fluids, and all appears to be great! *Infiniti recommends this at 50k miles.
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE my g35 now has a problem with manual mode. It will not work after a while and will Automatically go back into D even when in stick is in manual mode. The code is p0745 so it’s one of the valve body solenoids. Do you know how much it would cost to get it replaced ?
Hey bro I’m watching your video rn as I do my solenoids. I finished but however when I went to crank my car it doesn’t crank and there’s no gear indicator, battery is good and everything. Do you have any suggestions?
There is a small lever on the side of the valve body that connects to a lever coming from the transmission if you don't have that installed correctly it could give you the problem that you have because the vehicle doesn't know that if it's in park or not so you're probably need to drop the pan down and see if that lever on the side is centered correctly
The one you can move fairly easily right? It is centered on the rod in the transmission. But also I went around one more time and noticed before I tried starting it up again, I took off the connectors that are next to the solenoids to clean and I put them on in the wrong order/direction. So do you think the wrong placement of wires shorted the TCM? Or is it a different problem
Update: Sorry to bring my problems here but I got it to turn on. It was just a fuse. However now after adding my fluid and bolting everything, my reverse feels really slow. The other ones seem fine, haven’t test driven tho but the short distance that I moved, it took a lot of gas for the car to go reverse. Any ideas? Another fuse or solenoid or what

Fantastic
No you can't get them that cheap
Wondering if u need to reprogram
As the other guy asked which trans need reprogrammed. Used units don't I've heard and new units do. Which is it ? No one online seems to truly know.

Well done technical!!! Very good job. With mine M35x I just replaced the whole valve body and TCM with a completely rebuilt one. That was the fix......did not have change the tyranny, like one shop was suggesting. Keep up the good work brother!!!💯👍
Where did you get your rebuilt valve body from?

@@jrserrano9396 yes I did replace my Vavle body and the front brake solinoid code came off. Car was running better then ever after that and shifting smoother then ever.
I have P1730 is that the same thing as these codes?
Worth mentioning that this fix only applies to later models 05 and up. 03 and early 04 models have the TCM located by the ECU on the passenger side in the cabin.
2003-2004 transmissions are usually built better and done have these types of issues but they yes are different

Does the engine go bad after replacing the transmission I heard a lot of rumors?

I've been watching as many of these valve body/TCM/sensor videos and reading up since my '04 G35 coupe ck engine light came on a week ago (Code P1716). I've been having hard shift issues basically when it is cold, so have been going easy when cold. My opinion, the check engine light should have come on long ago.

Then after a few weeks I found that weird things would happen after going through the carwash. Throw all kinds of codes, dash lights would light up, headlights would come on by themselves. I have a code P0735. Do you think this is the issue? It shifts fine until it’s time to shift into 5th gear
P0745 here. 5th gear and manual mode disabled.
Mines basically the same but it doesn’t shift up.

Hello, I had the same problem with jx35 of not not responding to going forward or backwards. But the diagnostic code comes with bank 1 do you think it’s actually the transmission problem cause that makes more sense
You would need to provide more info like the actual code. You need a decent scan tool to read transmission codes so it's possible
How did you determine what selenoid had the codes, does a scanner tell you ?
A scan tool wont pin point the seleniod that is bad but it will give you a code that you can look into, and by looking up common problems, you can usually figure out the issue. For example, a p1757 shows that the seleniod function is erratic but that doesn't mean the sensor is bad. What usually happens is the wire that goes to the seleniod breaks apart and it will throw this code. Repairing the trace will fix the problem

If it's new yes I believe it will need to be programmed to the vehicle
Does it have to be programmed
@angmccarty4621 if it's completely new yes it will need to be
Hey man i have a 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe that I won’t accelerate and wont move when i put it into drive or reverse I already replaced the pedal, throttle body and ecm from another g35 that i own and i still does the same thing but now it will let me rev it do u think is the transmission? It won’t throw no codes
Mine and done same as you did u figure what to do to get it to accelerate please I’m so lost
@@angmccarty4621ever find a fix?
I have fixed crank sensor 2 cranks is a one transmission swap everything I just need a transmission next
Can you tell me where is the speed sensor is at on the 04 g35 coupe? I have the 5 speed automatic with what i call a manual mode.i dont know what its called.but i can shift thru gears myself or just leave it in drive if that makes any sense lol.
The abs are speed sensors and there also one in the vavle body called a turbine speed sensor
Thanks
One more question my g has 180k miles and i want to drain and fill my transmission fluid cause its looking dark in color.would it be ok? I have a hard shift when the car is cold start and take off.
If it's dark you probably are burning up your transmission changing the fluid might make it worse or it might help its your call
Hi man, my 350z Nissan 2004 automatic throw a code P0720. Just change all fluid and replace the filter then i got this. Any idea.
Make sure you filled the transmission with the correct amount of fluid
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE thank you Eric, knowing
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE reading that its a pain in the ass.
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE do I have to runthe car or with it cool can check
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE Eric check the fluid level and ore ok, the technician said that I need a new valve body, because water got into the tranny.
So basically just replacjng the rubber with the 10mm?
Not sure what you are referring to
Hey man I'm currently throwing a p0744 and a p1744 you think it would be better to try and put the time into fixing them or do you think it's too severe and better off just swapping the transmission
It will probably be cheaper to just get a different transmission with the different torque converter
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE ill do this first thing in the morning! any tips on how to know when its lined up correctly? Before closing it up?
My auto g35 is ok but it has a bit if a lag when shifting in manual mode.
Some lag is normal but if its's excessive try to change your fluid with oem nissan it might help
Any ideas? Another fuse or solenoid or what
@@adriangarcia2703hey bud, I got the same problem and I'm confident that lever is in the right way, what fuse did you fix?
stick won’t break unless you do it yourself
👆👆👆 He's Right Ya Know!!! 😄😄😄
Full Disclosure; - I'm driving AT. But it was the most beautiful G35 I ever saw. I couldn't refuse the car. HAD to take it home with me. Even thought it was only, literally 25 yards from his garage to my garage!
Does anybody know how many qrts of atf fluid goes back in after Vavle body removal for g35 08 5spd??
Around 8
I got a transmission issue on my '08 G35x where it seems to be stuck in 4th gear and wont come out of that gear. Anyone know what that could be? Thanks in advance
it's 1757
Yes it's possible I would check for pending codes
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE i'm having the same issue too should i just replace the entire valve body and tcm ?
@kaamfinitii if it's a p1757 it's fixable and if done right, it will be a permanent fox
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE damn i was just quoted $1500 i just gotta hope and pray
2:55 I was like it's the 19mm. Lol
I’m about to buy a g35 rwd automatic 107k miles what should I be looking for
This happened to me at 139k miles
it’s the speed sensor bro that makes it go to limp mode
Not it's never the speed sensor it's always the tcm
which sensor is the temperature fluid sensor?
It's a small two wire sensor and it's held down by 1 10mm
Can someone link for a Direct clutch solenoid??? 04 G35x
Should of replaced the tcm with the solenoids buddy. I got one I'm working and took a really good look at it.. The actual input sensor that sits on top of the tcm is burned up.. Don't know why but it's throwing all kinds of codes and it's got the same issues as that one your working on..
Most people won't sell just the tcm since without it the transmission is worthless
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE solenoids and tcm came all together eBay buddy pulled the solenoids and got it going again.
I have code p1754 and p1764 what should I do I have an extra transmission
Try changing selenoids if that doesn't help you will need a new vavle body
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE should I just install my other transmission
Yes or just change the vavle body
Does this apply to the 06 Nissan titan
Yes
2005 Infiniti g35 coupe. I got a p1764 code. Direct clutch solenoid function. Ik this video old and not many ppl are watching. There’s not too many videos on this code or information. I was planning on just swapping the trans but if anyone knows if the better way to deal with this code is to replace the solenoids then I’ll try that nd save some money.
I've been able to drop the valve body and remove the solenoids, and clean the valve body with compresed air and it fixed my problem
I put it back in bro but now my car only reads neutral and won’t even go into park, if anyone can help I’d appreciate it
forgot to pull up something
Most people want to know which trans need reprogrammed. Used units don't I've heard and new units do. Which is it ? No one online seems to truly know.
