the best part of Bill & Lisa is the love look they share, and then look into the camera and smile for us, true love travel ways matter. Happy Sunday folks, smiles
I have been to Japan, numerous times and I loved eating Kobe beef. It melts in your mouth. It is the best steak that I have ever eaten. The local company that I worked with in Japan always took me out to dinner; because the price for Kobe beef is very expensive (back up the Brink’s truck😀💴).
Oh Bill and Lisa! What a vlog of Kobe, Japan. So many wonderful food stalls that had great food. The duck and the KOBE BEEF resteraunt near the train station. All the food was good I'm sure. The mall was nice too!
Thanks SO much you two. Went to Kobe today. From Umeda walk to osaka sta., take JR Kobe line to Sannomiya stop. Restaurants all there. But every other restaurant was “steak land”…hahaha. We chose Streakland Kobe-Kan in an alley but inside it looked just like the one you went to. A bit upscale looking. We got the same one you got, but on the next page, there is a “special” Kobe tenderloin so we got that too. Even more tender. I wouldn’t say like butter but they were very tender and better than in U.S A5. Then a Gong Cha iced bubble tea for the walk to Motomachi. Motomachi interesting but kind of more local shopping. My 22 yo was not impressed. Chinatown was fantastic. No Peking duck buns were good, but that Korokke place was the best I’ve ever eaten. Tip: the dumpling place with the long lines in the plaza has a huge garbage can outside for your street eating garbage. Thx so much for the guidance!
Thanks Alan! Not saying this slice was better than all the pies we've had in NYC, but definitely can stand up to many of them. Lisa liked it too, but not as excited as me. lol
Glade to see you guys go Japan again thank you, how about okinawa, I saw your London trip too...I wish I can go..oh pdx going open pretty soon I think the new food court...I thought I tell you guys, I saw you there before I'm a janitor there, I didn't say hi because surprised 🙀 to see you when I just saw your video that morning at pdx..😂😂😂😂sorry..love your videos 😍😍😍
What a fun day trip to Kobe. When I lived in Osaka, I'd visit my elderly aunt in Kobe regularly and she introduced me to the international culture of the city. Thanks for featuring the wonderful city. Safe travels 🙏
Hello again-OMG, we, too, went to SteakLan and had the tenderloin and Kobe beef. Those two steaks really melt in your mouth. I was screaming into my computer and wanted to tell you both to skip the beef in Chinatown and go to SteakLan. And I am so glad you did. Those beef-I can't compare them to any other steak. Wagyu cannot beat them at all!! And I love how you share your food with each other and then smile!!!!
So cool. Blows my mind they have some many eateries there. Thats awesome. You two are so happy all the time and that makes the videos so much better. Safe travels.
Oh wow I would love to experience the same adventure as you both Bill and Lisa, it looks like so much fun. Japan has the best street food, everything is so fresh and the presentation is just immaculate. t hanks for sharing this with us 🤩
I really love you two. I just discovered your channel and have been watching many videos. Enjoyed all of them. I am Los Angeles area based so I love the videos in the greater LA area and Vegas.
Bill & Lisa, you’re not supposed to empty your trash at Lawson’s or 711 if what you’re throwing away is not from the store in which you’re throwing your trash. I had to take mine back home (my cousin’s house) or the hotel room. I had to carry trash all over Japan.
Really appreciate you translating the prices. I didn’t think any of the food or Even the Disney store items were that expensive. So enjoyed watching this Video Bill and Lisa ! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! ❤
Its nice seeing all the food places in Kobe. You will never starve if you are in this Shotengai, that's for sure. I was told there are no trash cans due to the bomb attack they had several years ago.😢 Great tip to have a plastic bag to carry your trash until you can dispose of it.
We've heard that too, Carol. But, in Osaka's Dotonbori, the city placed several trash and recycling cans mostly in the main street food areas, probably to help minimize trash being left on the ground.
Hi Bill and Lisa that Kobe. Looked pretty yummy . Nice to see you too out in about enjoying each other. I love your love for each other. It’s so special God bless🙏🏼🧘♀️🥰
"I know I shouldn't but i will" Love it!!!! When traveling you always should! You guys ate all the good stuff, makes me want to go back to Kobe. Did you see the senbei store at Motomachi arcade? I always pick up lots of stuff there. Kobe also has good custard and creme puffs. More to see and eat next time.
Another great video❤❤ you guys always make me laugh😅😅😂 all the food looked good😊😊 wow no trash cans and everywhere is still soo clean!!!! I just love looking at how clean everything is!!!! 😂😂 i have relatives in japan and they agreed that japan is very nice❤❤❤ thanks for this great video!!!!!❤❤❤😊😊
Hi Bill and Lisa 🙋♀️ Love the super-kawaii mochi wagashi! Almost too cute to eat... Almost! 😂 Regarding the pizza. I'm not surprised at the quality. Japan seems to almost always get it "right" when it comes to Western cuisine.
Japan's cities used to feature public trash cans. In 1995, the Aum Shinrikyo cult carried out a terrorist attack using Sarin poison gas bombs in the Tokyo subway system. The bombs were hidden in the public trash cans, where the attack killed 14 people and injured hundreds. Subsequently, public trash were removed afterwards.
Is it okay to eat and drink on the sidewalks? My cousin who lives in Kanazawa told us not to do that. There were several times we wanted to eat our street food, but looked for a bench off the walkways. I plan to go to Osaka and Kobe next April, had a great time Tokyo and Kanazawa last month.
Yes, pretty sure eating and walking is frowned upon, but not many vendors have seating/standing area in front of their booth, and their foods are all takeaway, so not sure what the solution is. Places like Dontonbori (Osaka) is so packed, one has no choice but to stand on the side or walk and eat. That said, everyone should be mindful and respectful of their trash (like we mentioned in this video).
I’ve had Kobe beef once in Florida in an upscale restaurant. Honestly I didn’t care for it. But then again, it was in Florida. Not only that, but I’m from Iowa. It’s hard to find beef any better than what I’ve had and grew up on in the Heartland. Not saying I’m an expert. It would be nice to try the original from Japan.
That "2 Bro's Pizza" store is locally well known in Kobe, but does not appear to be affiliated with the "2 Bros. Pizza" brand that is based in New York City.

Wow, Japan/Kobe is so modern, all good quality foods and they have everything!
Not cheap, but like you mentioned, great quality.
Good morning! Loved this adventure. I'm not traveling unless I can go with you so Lisa can interpret & Bill can choose where to eat😅 Excellent!!🥰
Great idea!! lol

Well done again, Bill and Lisa, so fun to watch, and wow, pizza in Japan better than in New York, that blew me away. Did Lisa feel the same way?

I second that!! Have fun and stay safe!! 🌸
A working couple with a successful TH-cam channel on the side. No lottery needed.
I’m going to skip eating Chinese street food in Chinatown Kobe Japan. I’ll stick to just Japanese food there.
Smart with their money and time
@@cr8zieWhy not? The Nankin-machi neighborhood plays an important role in Kobe's culture and is one of the most popular areas to visit in the city.
Since you're in Japan please go to Korea and try HANWOO beef it is another level of experience

The Chinatown in London is hard to beat, so beautifully decorated.
