I stayed in Kobe for a week. Instead of taking cable car I walked all the way to the hill top Herb garden enjoying good vibes of water fall, water reserves, national park on the way. I just loved visiting temples located in remote hilly areas.
It's 2022 and I'm rewatching all these videos again. The narration on these sightseeing videos is great! I'll keep watching and rewatching until we can travel safely.
I live in Nishinomiya. Kobe is only 15 minutes away by train. So I often go to Kobe. Kobe is a very enjoyable city. It is a beautiful city with mountains and the sea. There are many fashionable places and downtowns. Thank you for introducing a lot of sights. (Translated by Google)
The restaurant with the Spiderman on the wall is Genkichi Kobe Beef. It had the best beef i've ever had and far superior to any of the surrounding cheaper restaurants. The waiter was friendly and gave great advice on what cuts of steak we should try and really great information on what to expect. The chef was warm, friendly and spoke good english. He explained how it was best eaten and how to enjoy the Kobe beef with each condiment. We even got photos with the chef and waiter outside! I can't highly recommend the place enough and it was the highlight of our trip to Kobe.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm adding it to the list. I was thinking of going to Steakland or Wakkoqu when I visit Kobe, but it's good to have options.
I've been living in Kobe for over 5 years. You blow me away with how spot-on you are on everything. We definitely don't use north and south here. (There are basically no train lines going north or south, so when you exit the station you know which way you're going depending on wether you can see the mountains or not.)
I'm local here in Kobe, and this video reminded me how amazing my hometown is! Kitano area is another famous spot for houses western missionaries used to live hundreds of years ago. Hope you come next time! It's very romantic place:)
Whoa...thanks for introducing Kobe in an amazing way. I lived in Kobe for about four years and said goodbye to the amazing city a week ago in the face of graduating a college there. I hope more people will be rolling in Kobe and enjoying the things that you showed in this, which I think are hands down what everyone should be trying out when paying a visit there:D Gold video!!!
Mills Lewis thearchipelagoawaits.wordpress.com/2019/09/25/finis-travelogue-part-7-takehara-kobe/ Went to Kobe during the last phase of a summer in transit. Read about it here! From a Brit living in Japan.
I didn't go to Kobe, and this isn't really related, and I'm not even a Lakers fan, but I saw Kobe Bryant's last game my last day in Japan. Something felt special about it.
Thank you for this video! It just about brought me to tears. I am from Kobe, but now I live in the US. This video took me home, and brought back happy memories. Many thanks!
This is perfect! Thanks for the quality content Paolo! I am visiting Japan in 1 week with my GF and her mother, I will definitely consider stopping by Kobe now.
My boyfriend and I are loving your videos! We'll be visiting Japan in less than 3 weeks and have been watching your channel daily. THANK YOU for, well, being you!
I visited Kobe for a daytrip this year in September and the Nunobiki Herb gardens were my absolute favorite the whole area on top of the mountain and the beautiful way down back to Kobe including the water reservoir were amazing. I think Kitano is a very nice place at Kobe as well we liked it a lot and found it funny that there is a german house so we as germans had to check it out.
Thank you Paolo, Me and my partner we are in Kobe today. Thanks for the advise: Yakiniku Ishida was so good 😊 Thanks also for the videos you make: I finally realised my dream and came to Japan also thanks to you. Arigatou gozaimasu!❤
Thanks for video. Going next week again to help the mother in-law, this rekindled my love for Kobe and made my feelings for the trip something positive as well. So yeah, thanks again.
The best beef meat in the world!!!, Come on Paulo!, your making my stomach GROWL. Your tempting me again to go back and visit Japan. kondo nihon ni ikuze!!
I was at the restaurant with Spiderman on the roof. Was the fist time I ate Kobe Beef. I wasn´t sure which restaurant I should go to and I think I choose this one, because it had lots of certificates and thropies in the window. I also liked the cow waiter stature at the entrance. The beef wasn´t as expencive as I expected and the best I ate so far. It was soooooo おいしい!
I am here now at Yazawa getting the 1800 yen lunch special with beef ramen kobe sushi and stew beef tendon!!! Thank you foe the guide in town. I have the 1 day bus pass also to visit everything for 700 yen°°°°!!!!
Lived in Kobe. I really enjoy seeing the places I visited the most. I would mention for a good picture the Tetsujin 28 Statue, also visit a sake brewery is a fun experience and you can also find some good souvenirs and last but not least the Oji Zoo to have a nice walk.
Great video!! Thanks for all the tips in Kobe. I'm planning a trip to Japan and ALMOST dropped Kobe from my plans but after watching this, I'm definitely going 😁🤤!!
The introduction of your Kobe is like the guidebook of the person who does not know the field at all! At first, from Osaka to Sannomiya, I can come in 22 minutes. Though I introduced Kobe cow ramen, there is Kobe cow of the imitations. You should all think the shop with the figure skating of Spider-Man and the cow to be an imitation in the same system. Though the official manager is a Japanese, the true manager is a Korean. And a price is high because Nankinmachi (Chinatown) there becomes a sightseeing spot. As for the real Chinese food, as for the reason why the local person does not eat in Nankinmachi, it is really easy because a Chinese runs it though I can enjoy it. This is because there are a lot of Chinese restaurants which a Chinese runs near Nankinmachi. This is because there are many shops which that one is more delicious, and are cheap. When it was so high and was popular because there was the friend of the restaurant owner of Nankinmachi, I heard it. Because if hear it when laid 言 when is popular, and repeat, come only once anyway; くったて-affiliated ボッタ; it was said, and said. Therefore the shop where reputation is showy should post overambitiousness. Because even if the shop with the ability does not do reputation loudly, a visitor comes. A foreigner particularly a Chinese and the Korean think about though I run the shop in a standard whether oneself makes a profit, how the Japanese will be pleased with a visitor and run the shop. Though it understands it, it is splendid that a Japanese is funny.
Kobe is one, if not my #1 fave of all Japan. Foreigner-friendly, since there are a few groups that live there, but really a Japanese travel destination because it's so close to the Ocean and mountains and Osaka. You covered my favorite places so well. Thanks for the vid.
Paolo, the look on your face when eating the beef was the same as Buddha when he reached enlightenment...! Great video and Maiko sama's hair was done up in killer braids:) ☮🙃
