The owner of Poke Express was originally from HI he lives here now has 3 locations, it’s my go to for premium poke when craving hits (Craig Rd North side) the fishes are shipped fresh from HI everyday 🛫 kimchi mussels,oceansalad(seaweed) spicy salmon, limu poke , avocado poke, rainbow poke & their house ginger/wasabe/spicymayo hits the spot every time!

Portuguese sausage omelette is definitely a staple in Hawaii
I learn to watch these on a full stomach lol. My Buddy God rest his soul Primo was from the big island and swore by fried spam with a single snack size reese penutbutter cup in the middle of two spam slices
First we've heard of that Spam combo! Interesting!
That Japanese meal had my mouth watering! Those scallops!!! I paused to look at the total amount of your meal at the end and thought what a great price for such a delicious dinner!

OMG! My favorite!! I used to work at Zippy’s as a teenager on the island of Kauai, in the 80’s lol 😂 I will definitely go there when we go to Vegas.

Hiii Bill! Hiii Lisa! OMG! I’ve been wanting to try the Katsuya Ton Ton! I love kurobuta pork so much! We will be in Vegas in a couple of months, so this place, along with Poke Express is high on my list. The layout of the poke bar reminds me of the poke bar at Foodland in Hawaii. 😊 Thank you for sharing Zippy’s! Everything that you folks had looked amazing! Take care! Looks like Ton Ton Katsuya needs a second and bigger location! I'm a scallops fan, so that looked absolutely scrumptious! Zippy's is on my list of 2,834,901 places to try in Vegas!🤣

Hello Lisa and Bill. I love Katsuta Ton Ton. The food and service are amazing. I loved everything I had and that was quite a lot. The Sando is amazing. I ate it later in my hotel room and it was still amazing. I will always go back whenever I'm in Vegas. Peace and Blessings.

At Poke Express, the Green Seaweed looking thing on the Poke is called "Ocean Salad" in Hawaii. Zippy's is Zippy's. Again great video of great eats. Thanks for the knowledge of where to eat in Vegas!!!! Aloha!!!!

In my opinion, Tonkatsu Tamafuji on Oahu has the best. Hands down!!! Way better than Katsuya Ton Ton. Plus they have two different katsu sauces. You have to dip Tonkatsu into katsu sauce then put some of the hot mustard on it then bite. Game changer.

We haven't tried Tamafuji yet. Reading their reviews, looks to be pretty good. We have it bookmarked, hope to try them out one day.

Good question. We didn't pay attention if any were indicated on the menus.
Katsu Ya Ton Ton has great food but limited seating. Too bad next door neighbor is a "DMV ASAP" office - it might be hard to expand for a larger restaurant.
The owners ran same restaurant in Honolulu by the Convention Center and unfortunately didn't have parking. This location has great parking & just down the street from Durango Casino.

We've visited the Kagura off Carson St and Cabrillo, and the one inside Tokyo Central in Gardena. Both excellent, but if we're looking to crown one, Katsuya takes the win.
Ask for Japanese mayo for the fried chicken.
