- I upgraded my handlebars on my 2020 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard to a 12" KST kustoms Mayhem bagger bar in black.
Comparing riding positions from different photo angles.
Overall the ride seems more comfortable !

Here's what I used to make this video:
- The camera I use the most - My smartphone - iPhone 11 : amzn.to/2XZ3vwn
- For motovlogs and sport scenes I use My GopRo Hero 8 - amzn.to/2x1SaAr
- For my helmet camera setup - Audio and video I use the great Sena 10C pro - amzn.to/2p5phiE

Great Video!! What is the part number from Custom Dynamics for the tail light upgrade you mentioned? Rear turn signals double as running and break lights.

JC Oliva yeah- I was looking for Harley part - but the idiots at dealership didn’t know what part will work on my bike and refused to accept a return if I opened the item . What poor customer support....
@@HOLYSHIFT I found that Custom Dynamics is better than HD anyway. Plus they have great customer service.

Sandy, great video! I’ve been on the fence on getting the 12inch and your video might have been what I needed. I have to figure out a different solution for my mirrors though, I have a 2020 CVO with mirrors on fairing. Does it feel very different to ride compared to stock? Worried about control, feels like it will be harder to ride?
Fly & Ride - once you’re riding it’s really nice and comfortable. Only thing that requires a bit getting used to is at very slow speed when pushing the bike around with your feet in getting in and out of parking spaces - you need to be closer to the tank to reach out to the far out hand.....
It’s been a year so are you still happy with the bars and still recommend them? I just bought an 09 Ultra Classic and looking at these.
Yeah Sandy bars look bad ass! And they make the bike look so much better, I have an o5 deluxe CHOLO’ed out &/had those bars loved them, eventually sold them & replaced them with 14” Carlini menace apes! Now my 17 RGS came with stock bars & I hate it, make my arms get soar at my elbows, taller bars are in order!
That’s the way to go... taller bars make such a difference in ride comfort- and better looks!

It's good - but hands are exposed to the wind! In winter - It's chilly !

Yes sir ! More wind on my hands due to less protection from batwing fairing...10 inch rise will be the highest you can go and still have wind protection for your hands...
Also, can you share the link to the riding stick you use for your 360 camera? How do you hook it up? Thanks!

It really depends on your mechanic shop...I paid a bout $400 but Harley would charge double - most likely...

Where did you get the red tank decal? Just bought a 2020 slim and hate the emblem.
The red emblem is painted on - stock on the Electra glide standard 2019-2020
I’m trying to get these and in 12” black as well. How much in all did this cost? I’ve been priced $800.00 for bars and installation everything.

Me too. I got my 12” mayhems. I am installing them today. I wanted to go with the 14” but I didn’t want to be way above the fairing. So I also got a drag specialties low profile seat to lower me down.
Hey Sandy, I'm looking to upgrade my bars, did you have to change the brake and clutch cables I have the same bike.
No need for brake and clutch cable replacement- it fits original

@@robertogonzalez6971 - yes you need electrical wire extension for the throttle by wire . I bought it with the bars...

I realize this is a 2 yr old video, just wondering if the fairing offers any wind protection for your hands with the 12 inch bars. Mainly for highway speeds (NJ Rt 78) in winter temperatures.

Have the same bars on 2016 street Glide, love them . Hey sandy don’t make the same mistake John made and trade in the Harley . God Bless him but those bikes are made for the young crowd. He’ll regret it after a three hour ride .
