I love reading all the, "why do you have to...?" comments. As well as the, "I'll pay $1200 at the dealer." Get a book, watch a video. Great video, by the way. You make it look easy.
I have to do a bar adjustment on a 15 street glide. Is there enough room to get to the back 2 clamp bolts by just splitting the batwing? Never done one that new. Btw my personal bike is all HC. Ordered from you all yrs back when whole area was flooded.
I have a 2012 Ultra Limited that I bought 3 weeks ago. The previous owner was short and installed 2" drops which is too low for me. I want a set of 10" bars like in this video, but Harley wanted 1200 including the install.
So what your saying is that a new brake line connected at the ABS module will not introduce air into the line? Just bleed from the front calipers to the master cylinder?
Hi can you help me out with something.. if I decide to go with the 10” bars would I still need to adjust the clutch cable and do what you did to the brakes ?
So if I purchased same exact bars without the pre-wiring (I’d use existing on ‘21 Street Glide Special), would that work using existing lines? I’m just trying to forgo the brake bleeding etc. it seems like that would be easier to me. No?
That's what I thought, too. No wonder he had to take off the tank. He was doing some stuff that was confusing and didn't provide the reasoning behind it
+Gage Click there are already holes in your hand controls to put n mirrors like a Softail has. You just need to cover up the holes in your fairing when you take those mirrors ofg
What kind of seat is that..my 08 is stock..no back support at all..that looks nice and high for my back.. Would love to know if they make one like that for my 08street glide
+Streetglide40S&W if we wire them up, it will be a 1 piece harness, so there is no connection inside the handlebars that could come out later down the road
After watching this , I'm glad I have a Road King. My goodness working on the exhaust just to put handle bars on , ggg. Harley would want 3000.00 to do this job, gg Drink a bottle of Crown Royal first then you'll have the bag for the master cylinder.
I have 08 streetglide..do they have plug and ride for that..? I went through this with a friend..I got the 13" rounded bars..he talked me out of doing the meat cleavers because harder to pull wires. Im at very least novice..but Ive had fairing off twice..I think the hardest thing for me would be brakes.
Thank you bro, this video very helpfull... Anyway, may i know, if using 14" handlebar, how many cm i must use clutch hydraulic cable? How many cm i must use brake cable? Please your advice 🙏
I wish I would've gotten a road king instead of a street glide... that fairing is a pain in my ass. I've had it off twice. The first time really was a shit show, but 2nd time wasn't so bad. I have cable clutch and no abs, so not as much of a pain
Hello, would like to know if you could install a set a 10 inch Paul Y Handlebars? And if I could make it on a day where I could ride down and you do it While I wait? Can I make appointment and what kind of price thank you you can PM me if you’d like
Sorry can you explain why you need to all that extra work by changing all brake, clutch lines , etc... ? While simply we can just get the handle bar and use the existing lines and harness up to 14” bars. Please explain why all that extra work to make a simple handle bar change so complicated!
Outstanding Video, thanks for sharing....I want those Monkey Bars for my 17 SG. Would the processes you used for your SG be the same for my 17 SG? Thank you.
+Joseph L. Moskaly Yes, it would be identical. We have the monkeys bars in stock for that bike as well. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach. Thanks for watching.
this is a great video, but i am sure this guy has done so many, that he can do this in his sleep, and makes it look a LOT easier than it is. THIS is the difference between a "pro" and an "amatuer" in my opinion, for such a critical "life or death" component, if you don't REALLY know what you are doing (or have a tutor with you), i would NOT fuck with this as an experiment. the $$ or so you will pay a professional, will be WELL worth the peace of mind!
+Mark you should probably check our website, but they usually run $1200-$1300. Keep in mind, all the wiring is a 1 piece harness and guaranteed against defects. It also comes with a new throttle sensor installed.

Just a few basic specialty tools and a bunch of know how and BAM.....easy breezy! That is the exact set up I would like. Nice work man.
"tools required: 2 bottles Crown Royal (with bags)" This is a process I can get behind.
That’s why it’s called a bagger!
Finally found a use for those Crown Royale bags. Thanks for the brilliant idea!
+Jean Castillo anytime 👍👍
great video so I definitely need new cables ? Thought anything 12 and under was ok?

Great video! Helped me to get my bars installed! Thanks
Hi i'd like to put an ape 10" on my street glide 2008
Must i buy extension cables ?
Thank you for answer

On the front brakes, should you do the left or right one first?? Thanks! great video!
Bravo Bro...I'm embarking on this myself... 10in Yaffe on a 2017 Ultra Limited
So what your saying is that a new brake line connected at the ABS module will not introduce air into the line?
Just bleed from the front calipers to the master cylinder?
+J L correct
Hi can you help me out with something.. if I decide to go with the 10” bars would I still need to adjust the clutch cable and do what you did to the brakes ?
"Easy" install. After watching this, i'll be spending $1,200 at the dealer.
🤣🤣🤣
bro i swear i was like wtf man this shit would take me days and i know if fuck something up, man acted like this shit was simple
😂😂😂
They charged me 3000 dollars for this Damm
I'm new never seen bars changed out. No never seize or loctite? Is it not required not even exhaust
Hello, could you please tell me where did you buy your windshield ? And how many inches it size ? Thank you
are you guys planning to do installs at Daytona Bike week (fall 2021 / spring 2022)?
So if I purchased same exact bars without the pre-wiring (I’d use existing on ‘21 Street Glide Special), would that work using existing lines? I’m just trying to forgo the brake bleeding etc. it seems like that would be easier to me. No?
Nice job, excellent!
Thanks soo much for this video ! Im about to install 12" ape on my 2013 electra glide , do you think i need extended brake & clutch lines ?? Thanks 🙏🏻
Freaking clean
Waist time and a lot of money swapping out the cables. Can use stock cables up to 14” bars.
That's what I thought, too. No wonder he had to take off the tank. He was doing some stuff that was confusing and didn't provide the reasoning behind it
I'm getting ready to put 14 on my road glide. Not sure about the cables
+Brent Spencer What year?
2019 cvo. I have a complete set up on order with you guys. Funny
What is the diameter of that gas tank vent hose connector and where can we get one?
after you have the new bars on how hard is it to move the mirrors to the top

Question on the extended plug and play electrical connections are they one piece or spliced in the handlebars ?
+Streetglide40S&W if we wire them up, it will be a 1 piece harness, so there is no connection inside the handlebars that could come out later down the road
🤔 I believe up to 12” bars, you can reroute and use existing brake and clutch cables. You’ll need wire extension kit though.
Another video I saw did that! I was wondering why he took bags, seat and tank off.
@@darinn8265 your right on a 2014 and up you can reroute
@@darinn8265because he changed brake line, and he needed take off right cover
How many people are surprised on the labor cost on replacing bars thinking it was just 4 bolts?
How much are set of 14" in black to go on my ultra glide?
Can you use the stock fairing mirrors with these bars? Or will they be on the way? Obstruct your vision because the bars are right at the top of them?
Same for a 2022 TriGlide Ultra?
on paul yaffes website it clearly states u can use all stock cables and wiring is this true or not true ????
+Mg Shizzle not true. It depends on the model of your bike and what size bars you are using
I don't have an ABS module under my right side cover on my '14 FLXH so I'm guessing this is a step I can skip?
That is correct
@@HillCountryCustomCycles
How much would pre-wired bars like that with the gorilla clamp run?
Those look great, but they don’t look like 10” bars. They look more like 14”. They come up to the top of the Fairing!!
How many hours did it take
After watching this , I'm glad I have a Road King. My goodness working on the exhaust just to put handle bars on , ggg. Harley would want 3000.00 to do this job, gg

Can the 10 inch bars fit on a 2006 yamaha road star?
Do you loose visibility with your mirrors on 10’’ or 12’’ handlebars?
No it’s better
What was the purpose of removing the gas tank ? Looks like it could have been done without removing it .....?
Thank you bro, this video very helpfull...
Anyway, may i know, if using 14" handlebar, how many cm i must use clutch hydraulic cable?
How many cm i must use brake cable?
Please your advice 🙏
Ok. Thank you again

+Joe Adams you bet!!
Can I use my stock clutch and break line for a 2014 street glide with no ABS...
I saw you loosening up the lines and you lost me there. thank you
yes I did, you will require the wire extentions to be safe
Po
Can you buy just the bars wired with just stock black controls? Use my own break line and clutch cable.
+MARC Boov Sure can, give us a call, 512-264-7333, ask for Freddy

lol i think i will let the dealer ship do it lol i ordered the bars
you do not need to take your brake line off! this is not necessary and makes the job WAY more complicated than it needs to be!
What's the point of removing ignition

Lol, quick and easy? Seems a little more in-depth when I have my brand new bike in pieces.
Great video btw, I may try it.
+Ray Black Nah, just don’t get in a rush and watch the video as much as you need to. You can do it.
Hill Country Custom Cycles I just watched your 21” wheel and tire install. I’m going to start with that one! Lol!
Easy my ass yeah, after editing video looks easy
👊🏾
why didnt you show me "fishing the wires through the bars" ? #Hardest part
This is true and why I was looking online. I did learn something about taking the tank off though. Much better than taking the dash off.
To change the handlebar, first remove the saddlebags ...
Nope.
Gonna buy a Road Glide instead.
Your mirrors are now useless because of the placement of the hand controls.
WHAT A ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS.
The title says Ultra Classic. What's up with that!!!!
It say's Street Glide & Ultra Classic models.
No thanks, I'll leave it to the dealer.
