Thank you very much for sharing this info. You have a new subscriber to your channel. I have 2 questions. 1) Why it says on the right of your screen @ 11:55 that " Windows license is expired"? And How are we going to uninstall older versions we have (such as Win 7), in order to install this version on our old laptop? Or we don't have to uninstall our old version?
From what I have read, it is not intended for single-use downloads, with no Edge or App Store, unless you have an ATM you can game or word process on? sounded too good to be true Microsoft releasing a version of 11 that works on every PC?
@@Tips2FixWindows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 has already been released. The evaluation version is the trial version of the final build. Also they won't sell it to the public. It's made for Enterprise environments.
if your pc is old buy a new one because it is the best solution i won't run hardware older than 11th gen intel or amd equivalent hardware vulnerability exists also
Although I haven't really installed any programs other than HWinfo64 i've got a Mini ITX machine that has a Pentium Gold (Ivy Bridge) with this 24H2 LTSC version working. The hardware vulnerability thing isn't as cut and dry... Remember the last actual hardware vulnerability issues that happened? Spectre and Meltdown? Well those only affected the newer Intel CPUs of the time (2016? 2017?) not the older ones from previous generations. I think only Coffee Lake CPUs were affected (8th gen) If hardware vulnerability was that big of a concearn, the TPM requirement even for LTSC wouldn't be optional unlike on the other versions of Windows 11 were it's mandatory. If people are still using old machines is most likely because they can't afford to. Remember before the Pandemic when there were fewer people working remotely and fewer people playing pc games and using streaming services on record numbers? Microsoft actually said Windows 10 was going to be their last OS. If someone has an old but perfectly functional machine and doesn't rely on stuff from Adobe or crazy Macros, they're way better off trying out Linux rather than turning their machines into e-waste because Microsoft and its OEM partners are greedy
Some people either didn't watch the video or they are really thick and should not own a PC let alone try installing an OS onto one. Win 11 LTSC has very light system requirements he was running it on an old laptop basically it can run on freaking potato but hey if you've got the money to burn and have a low IQ then go out and get yourself a new PC.

Can I ask you something? About the migrating windows to a new nvme ssd, If i don't have an extension to straightaway move windows from the old to the new but instead use an external drive to migrate windows there then later to the new nvme m2 ssd, will my other files on my external drive disappear?
No.
Why would Anyone do this? Windows 11 is full of spyware.. they aren't even hiding it anymore with Recall. If you need a lite version of windows use AME Wizard on your existing OS. It will gut all the bloat, spyware, telemetry, Microsoft Defender and Windows Updates included which is Excellent. It closes all the back doors or possible ways MS can sneak in unwanted spyware they call "Features".
what a idiot .... LTSC IOT is witch out any bloatware
This doesn't get features it gets "optional" quality updates and only critical security updates
@@HonchHeado It's Garbage no matter what you call it.

But make sure to backup this is not stable version yet okay!? If you need stable release and want to upgrade from w10 to w11 here its the video for you

@@Tips2Fix The stable release is out btw. The IoT release dropped to OEMs first. The non-IoT isos still haven't been made available yet. The non-IoT release is packaged in the IoT isos though.
Don't use the Evaluation version to upgrade your machine. It will basically stop working after 90 days as it is an EVALUATION version only. You have to go and find the full release version and pay a full release price for the license if you want to use it long term.
@@dingokidneys exactly thats what im talking about :)
@@dingokidneys That's really only if you're a business. You can find the full version and permanently activate it for free quite easily.
This question isn't related to this video but I was wondering if you know if I could perform an in-place upgrade on unsupported hardware. I've been having a problem for a few months now that I just put up with, my Explorer just freezes for sometimes a minute when I try to open or save something, or access anything via FileExplorer.
What version fo you have? Are you runing on 23h2? What computer parameters do you have?

Thanx for the video. Does it still have the CPU requirements as Win 11?? Edit. Just had a look. You still need an Intel 8th gen or later.
This version will not require new procesorss
Im explaining showing the microsoft post and reading the rquirments in the first 4 minutes of the video
@@Tips2Fix Thanx. Yes you did say that but when I looked at the MS site for this OS but it still says Intel 8th gen CPU. I'll try it on a VM and see.

Should I buy Windows 11 LTSC after the trial period?
I think it's business and education only.

Does it still embed artificial intelligence, even in the enterprise edition? If so, then no one should install it, no matter what version of Windows 11
It is important for me to know whether the Twingate application runs in it or not. Please make a video by installing the Twingate application.
Only english version ... :-(
For the moment , but it will be multilanguage in stable version :)
@@Tips2Fix Okay
@@andreasg7834 The "stable version" is actually already out. Even though the IoT isos are in English there is a Language Pack release.
can windows 11 Ltsc run smoothly on hdd
Just why would anyone want Win 11 if they are going to record you every move officially? Move top Linus and or Mac... a tin can with a string... in fact why use anything from Microsoft/Google/CIA?
Really? Which software in windows that does that? Sorry if it sounds dumb, just curious
Recall is not even on LTSC.
Bro update stuck at 77% . What to do 😢
Did it finished?
Try to extract the iso file , run the setup from there , but uf you upgrade using this version you cant go back this is is evaluation copy for 90 days , so please make suse you know what you are doing and see the video carefully brother do the backup frist i mentiined in the video

How can i activate a ltsc version? Can i use the win 11 pro key?
Nope, it does not work like that.
Great video, thanks a lot. I started using Ubuntu and other Linux distros and to be honest I don’t see myself going back to Windows anytime soon. I don’t need so much junk from MS running in the background and using so many resources. Tons of linux distros out there, for any computer and user taste.
Thanks for sharing!
My honest opinion is if you don't know what your doing don't do it 😁
Need to format HD needs its own no going back once installed its for industry specific things best install just the LTSC not IoT
@@HonchHeadook thanks.
are you born yesterday?
😄
From what I have read, it is not intended for single-use downloads, with no Edge or App Store, unless you have an ATM you can game or word process on? sounded too good to be true Microsoft releasing a version of 11 that works on every PC?
Lets see , this will be released later this year maybe they will let it open for public
@@Tips2FixWindows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 has already been released. The evaluation version is the trial version of the final build. Also they won't sell it to the public. It's made for Enterprise environments.

if your pc is old buy a new one because it is the best solution i won't run hardware older than 11th gen intel or amd equivalent hardware vulnerability exists also
I5 12400F is okay with windows 11 Home..?
Better even yet, save that hardware by installing Linux Mint or Zorin OS.
@@DileepaDilshan shore on that you can get also win11 pro but other components are also important
