Actually if you use rufus and use the download option it has to ability to remove all checks and legally 100% activate from upgrading from windows 10 to windows 11 and the system requirements are stupid because windows 11 is basically windows 10 with a new start menu and if you are a gamer please listen windows 11 hates VR so if you have any VR headsets and want to upgrade wait unless you want stuttering video

      SHIFT + F10 > cmd > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > SETUP > New > Key
Rename Key TO "LabConfig" now create these. all of them he to be DWORD 32-bit Value
New > Rename To BypassCPUCheck, Value Data = 1, Base = Hexadecimal
by now. Switch bases to Decimal
      Now you need these:
      BypassRAMCheck, Data base = 1
      BypassTPMCheck, Data base = 1
BypassSecureBootCheck, Data base 1. Now Begin setup. NOW IT WORKS EXACTLY FINE!

The oldest system I've had Windows 11 running was on an AMD Athlon II X2 255 from 2010. I did a clean install using DISM /Apply-Image, a workaround that doesn't ask any questions or check system requirements. You can't upgrade an existing Windows 10 installation that way though, so this video shows that it's not impossible to do an upgrade on unsupported hardware even if there are more steps involved.

Windows terminal missing is actually quite common with in-place upgrades, even on supported hardware, I've got a 3950x system that upgraded itself to windows 11 Pro and windows terminal did not work.
Remember, if you are fine with wiping everything out, or if you have a boot drive, and a data drive, you can generally just do a fresh install windows 11 from an un-modified ISO, as long as your computer has 2 threads, 4GB of RAM, and i think an 80GB HDD? I have windows 11 on an IBM Thinkpad X60 Tablet which originally shipped with Windows XP, but because it has an early 64 bit Core Duo with 4GB of RAM(only 3GB usable) windows 11 just installed without issue, now getting drivers to work was harder than expected, normally XP drivers just worked in windows 10, but with windows 11 i had some issues with the pen-touch screen and a few other things that i dont remember off the top of my head

Windows 11 is much better than Windows 10 for the only reason that it has an expiry date of 2031 while Windows 10 will expire in 2025. That is why one should change, unless you are keen to replace computers that work well just to follow the last computer trend. Besides everything that runs on Windows 10 will run on 11, just the desktop enviroment is different, as like many linux distros differ one from another.

I think theres a much easier way to do this - worked for me a few months ago to u/g my win10pro to win11 - after downloading the win11 installer to USB, look for the \sources folder and delete the file "appraiserres.dll" - then when you run setup DON'T allow it to download updates during the install/upgrade (otherwise it re-downloads the check file and tells you you're unsupported again) - your system should upgrade fine - when its done you can use windows update as normal. works fine on my amd 6100 with no tpm etc and a couple of other older laptops. your mileage may vary, but I've had no probs.

It's been known for a while that pretty much anything dual core and up will run Windows 11. I've had it running on a 12 year old machine since they announced it. Of course many older computers will work better under W10 than W11. And Microsoft will supposedly put a watermark on the desktop of unsupported computers in a future update.
