It has never been a rock-crawling off-roader, but the Subaru Crosstrek has long been an affordable, rugged, and fuel-efficient package designed to go slightly farther off the pavement than an Impreza hatchback. That won't change as the Crosstrek enters its next generation for the 2024 model year. In true Subaru fashion, the Crosstrek's design evolves upon that of its predecessor. The same is true of its interior, which remains as spacious and practical as the 2023 model. Engine options carry over unchanged from 2023, with a 152-hp 2.0-liter flat-four serving as the base engine and a 182-hp 2.5-liter flat-four optionally available. As is the Subaru way, all-wheel drive is standard on all models. Alas, last year's manual transmission is no more, and all 2024 Crosstreks rely on a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Despite this, the new Crosstrek improves notably over the prior generation model, with Subaru redesigning the seats for additional comfort and adding more sound-deadening material to the cabin to better keep outside noise from entering the interior.

@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist I saw my first one on the Trans Canada Highway in Quebec, same color, package. The new LED DRL's are super sharp. The standard steering responsive headlights and new front grill are awesome! :-)

I actually like the black door handles. they're only putting an entire swamp of plastic cladding on the bottom, it kinda matches that yaknow

Tyson- thanks for all your content. Its fantastic. What is your fav color on the Onyx. I was leaing towards offshore. but after i saw the magnetite grey, i think that is pretty sharp too with the yellow fog lights and the black trims. Please share your thoughts. Also, how is the white on the onyx.
I really like the Ice Silver Metallic. There isn't a color on the Crosstrek that doesn't look good, imo.
The Grey is sharp and the Offshore stands out on the road in comparison to a lot of other colors.
The White really makes the black cladding "pop".
Did they do away with the little blue coolant light that indicates your engine is not warmed up, or did the Canadian never have that? I saw your engine was cold and saw no blue light.
They did not get rid of it. It wasn't particularly cold out when I did the video, so it was warm enough upon initial start-up to not set the light off.

It's a new color for 2024. They were likely talking about the Cool Grey Khaki, which is similar to Offshore Blue
