First Off Great Review on this vehicle. I have been watching your videos concerning all the Subaru models and have enjoyed them all. I have been researching for my next car purchase and watching your videos led me just 2 days ago in purchasing myself a 2024 Subaru 2.5L Limited. I enjoy it immensely so far and all my neighbors here in Texas USA have made outstanding comments concerning it already. Thank You for your outstanding video reviews and yes I will continue to watch them, may see something I do not know.
Thank you for the great, informative video. I hope you devote a future video to explaining how to operate the lights, wipers and the additional infotainment features.
Great video Tyson! Thank you! Quick question, does apple CarPlay only work wirelessly for the 2024 model? I’m used to connecting CarPlay via my usb cable.
I noticed that a lot of vehicles that you are showcasing come with engine block heaters as an accessory. Isn't BC 's winters not as severe as the winters in Ontario why do people get that as an accessory?
A Block heater is beneficial any time the temp drops below -18°C, which we get a lot of here. I'm no where near Vancouver geographically and we experience at least a couple weeks of -35°C and below every year.
@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist Thanks for the answer. I have put in an order for a 2024 Crosstrek Touring in Ontario. I did not order any accessories yet and I was wondering whether to get the block heater or not. We do get a couple of weeks over -30°C but I am wondering if I can get by without one. There is also a battery warmer, not sure if that is nice to have or not.
All Canadian Crosstreks, with the exception of the Wilderness, are built in Japan. All of the 2.0L engine Crosstreks in the USA are built in Japan, as well.
It's wireless in the Touring model and up. There may be the option to plug in for some devices, but Subaru has said that it's strictly wireless at this point.

It's designed to work wirelessly, but I do believe that a couple of my clients use theirs with it plugged in.

Is CarPlay strictly wireless? Or is there an option for wired

I'm stuck deciding between the touring and onyx. does the 2.5L engine actually feel any different than the 2.0L?
