Great overview of the basic not so basic Crosstreck. I’m in Ontario and the wait time is much shorter today. As of today, the vehicle is on a train heading to Toronto. So looking forward to getting my new and potentially last vehicle I’ll ever get. Keep up the great videos.

My dealer offered classes but they are too far away.
I had my new basic Crosstrek delivered- so far I love the 4 wheel drive- but aside from the rear view camera- I find all the other gadgets annoying and unnecessary.

PS They advertised the Crosstrek as dog friendly but they have a push button emergency break - which my dogs never fail to activate! 😅

The parking brake should only activate when it's pulled up, not pushed down. If yours is being turned on by your dogs pressing down on it, you should reach out to your dealership and get that addressed!
It is a great looking Crosstrek. One of the bicest imho. Like you, I prefer the dark wherls over the Touring trim. If it had fog lights and a heated steering wheel it might be perfect. Lol. Perhaps fogs are not needed with those bright LED lights
Could always ask someone with a Convenience if they wanted to trade for the Touring wheels.
Fog lights are always beneficial, but the LED's are very bright!

I am lost between the convenience and touring. The black rims and split screens of the convenience are much nicer. Not sure how important are starlink, larger screen, manual mode, heated steering, and other smaller extra features to go for an extra 3/4k price wise. Tough decision to make.
I understand what you mean. Since the Convenience has heated seats now, it's an even harder choice!
I see the value with the remote start/connected services, heated wheel, fog lights, premium cloth, proximity key, and paddle shifters but not everyone will see the value in them.

It's a base model. People that want the base model generally want the most basic features, and Subaru delivered on that.

@LOKO2HEHE I have a white one available. We have lot of clients make the trip from the lower mainland to get vehicles all of the time. Our wait lists are significantly shorter than down South.
